Greetings. Newbie here... I thought the game wasn't scheduled to be released until March 20th, but just now I received an email from USPS Shipping Services that a package is being sent to me today. Could this be correct? QUOTE This ship notification is being sent to you by the U.S. Postal Service® at the request of LISA A BUSH.
A package with a Click-N-Ship® label created on usps.com containing the following information is scheduled to be shipped on 03/14/2006.
From: LISA A BUSH ROCKSTAR GAMES/TAKE 2 INTERACTIVE 9271 MERIDIAN WAY WEST CHESTER OH 45069-6523 If it's true I'm very happy, but with only 2 small issues: 1. It will probably take a week or more to reach Norway. 2. This Saturday I'm going away on a two week holiday...

QUOTE(Ola Martin @ Mar 14 2006, 06:13 PM) Sure you didn't order something else too, it can be something wrong with the shippers, if not, your a very lucky man. Jeg skal dra ned på spiderman og kjøpe det den 24. rett etter skolen Please post only in english in the future Thanks

Hei, en nordmann! I haven't ordered anything else from there or from the US for that matter. I've had a look on the official forum and see that many others have received the same confirmation mail. Wonder if I should cancel my trip to Gran Canaria? Edit: Sorry didn't see the language warning until after I posted. What I said was "Hey, a Norwegian!". It's a mailbomb, to promote the new GTA.

Maybe I should go knock and ask for a copy Cool, they have a secret headquarter near your house. You could make your morrowind pc go kill'em all and loot the place

My apologies about the off-topic post! QUOTE(Zelda_Zealot @ Mar 15 2006, 01:17 AM) Last time I checked Besthesta made Oblivion, not Rockstar. Sorry to burst your bubble. Well I can't see what else it could be. Haven't ordered something from the US in years, and the confirmation mail I got when I pre-ordered was from Take 2 Interactive. Maybe they do P&P for both those companies?

QUOTE(Zelda_Zealot @ Mar 15 2006, 12:17 AM) There is something you should see below... From: LISA A BUSH ROCKSTAR GAMES/TAKE 2 INTERACTIVE 9271 MERIDIAN WAY WEST CHESTER OH 45069-6523 Still don't see it? Well I am nice and made it bold. Rockstar and Take Two are pretty much the same company... Take Two are publishing... but this could still be a mistake... Maybe they're using templates from the GTA:SA rush on their Oblivion e-mails.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Actually I'm hoping it's a mistake since I'm going away for 2 weeks this Saturday, although I have ordered a service now involving the Norwegian postal service taking care of my mail until I return (but how well can you trust them wiith an interesting package lying about?). Have not received a new mail saying it was a mistake yet though. Maybe they ship it to europe since it takes a while to get here, but cancel shipments to the US? Anyway I know that games are often available long before release date. I have a friend working in a games store, and he says that they often receive games weeks before release date, but of course they're not allowed to start selling it until the official date. Either way it's nice to have a confirmation that the game is actually finished and packed. Another year now, and it should be fully patched into working condition...
