First bear with me, because this installment is not by any means edited as my story is, so I apologise for any typos or grammar-mistakes!
This is the introduction to the fight between two giants, Telina Delvanni, shrewd, skilled macician as well as a fighter, and Luper Alkad the impressive Redguard, also skilled in the use of weaponry and magic! Vote wisely friends.....you have a tough decision to make!.....Let the story commence!
Telina Delvanni was standing in her private chamber, thoughtfully looking at herself in the mirror. Not many young women these days were the proud owners of a so called mirror.Telina had made it herself from a piece of reflecting crystal, which she had found in the deep dungeons of her stronghold, then she had polished it so it now served as a perfect device to really see how she looked like.
She was thoughtful, because of the forthcoming fight. Hircine has called her to the Arena to fight someone, in a matter of life and death. She was really not keen on it; she had learned to respect life and did not fancy killing someone whoever it might be. Nevertheless, who was she to disobey an order from one of the Divines?
Telina sighed and opened a small jar made of glass, it contained a dark blue paste, that smelled.....weird but not unpleasant. This was a gift from Serene, which in her turn had got it from Baladas Demnevanni.... She put her finger into the paste and then painted two blue lines on her left cheek, and then two on her right, just as Serene had told her to.....this was a war-sign, to give her mental strength, as well as distract the enemy. The face-painting was something Serene had learned from Baladas, and used many times.
She closed the jar, sighed and then teleported to the Arena......
Luper Alkad was impatiently waiting in the Arena, pacing back and forth, checking his weapon....not that he had the least doubt he would win this coming fight, he was very much aware of his strength and skills with his sword. He smiled to himself, thinking about how to also use his intelligence and shrewdness, to actually do something unexpected. He stretched his back and once more glanced at the door where his opponent would appear...
Luper Alkad bust into laughter when the door opened and revealed a tall slender woman, her silvery hair was tied back with a shiny blue ribbon, the two blue lines on her face glistening...He felt like there was a cold finger penetrating his forehead, a very unpleasant feeling, but he shook it off, now the fight was to begin, so he rushed towards the woman, this would really be a short expenditure...
A silvery cloud emerged fro Telina´s hand and an overwhelming coldness came over Luper, he could hardly breathe and burst out in a groan;
“A frost-spell, the witch had cast a frost-spell at him!” Now a spell like that was nothing to stop the great Luper Alkad, so he jumped around to get the warmth back in his limbs and at the same time he managed to cast a fire-ball. His accuracy was not the best, but his spell hit the woman in the side.
When Telina entered the Arena, she almost immediately felt the patronising thoughts of her opponent that made her slightly angry so she stretched out her left hand and cast the spell-of-protruding-finger, which should render the feeling of a finger digging in his head. Apparently the spell worked, she could see the confused and slightly painful expression on his face.
The two combatants circled around each other; expectantly....Then Luper muttered some cantrip and Telina found herself with just one sword, the other one swirling through the air, landing about 6 feet from Luper, who made an evil smile....” Telekinesis always works, he thought cheerfully” Then he made a hard slash with his sword and hit Telina´s shield with a loud bang.
“Telekinesis? Telina made a rapid outburst, flanged herself towards Luper and fired off a series of hard accurate blows at him. Not all hit because Luper was well armoured and also managed to parry most of them, but he was in fact driven back a bit. A large frost-spell, cast by Telina, made him somewhat paralysed, falling to the ground....but he managed to crawl back on his feet again, slashing at the young woman.....After all he was the strongest one!
“Ahhhh......the penetrating finger in his forehead was tormenting him again, which made him out of his wits...
“Now you spell-casting witch, I´m coming for you!” he screamed as he flung himself at her, casting a fire-spell. Telina jumped away as the flames caught her silvery hair and burnt the side of her head.....
“Ahhrrrgg, you got to use remote-control-fire to beat me huh? You big, strong beast of a man, you really can’t beat me, a weak, fragile woman in honest fight huh?” Telina was dancing around Luper, taunting him with every insult she could think of, meanwhile parrying his violent slashing....
Suddenly Telina cast a paralysis-spell at Luper, which hit right on the spot....She approached him slowly, with burning eyes, the remaining Daedric shortsword in her right hand, ready to make the final cut....
Mortal! Let there be an end to this fight now!!!!! Hircine´s voice echoed through the Arena....

Some things didn't feel like Luper, such as where he bursts out laughing, but fireballs and Telekinesis are just the spells he uses in battle so good work. I know I can't vote but I'm going to say that Telina is going to win. It is too late for Lup to pull up a weird story like: ,,Me? I'm not the one you're supposed to fight. I'm just making sure that there aren't any treacherous bumps in the ice." And we have only seen a small portion of Telina's Telepathic powers. Fireballs and Telekinesis just can't match that. If she goes all out on that, Lup would probably kill himself or try to kill Hircine.

ohh....great one mink.... Your description of Telina is just like I wanted it, you really pulled it of this time . No, I will not vote, but well, if anyone was to win...well I'm not sure...Telina do have some really nasty spells up her sleve...but then again, she would be reluctant to kill someone just for the sake of it... So here, you have a Tellie, a Jona, and a Milanius....cant wait to see the end. This post has been edited by Telendil Delvanni: Apr 2 2006, 07:54 PM

...and all of a sudden, a smiley is named after me bwhaha, have a Milanius... or two ! Out of respect to our contendors, who both sound like tough cookies, I voted for a bloody, bitter deadlock. Although I haven't been able to keep track of their respective stories (sorry I barely manage to read about Serene) I'd say that they are pretty even... but anyway, I can only say what would good ol' Mil do in similar situation: 1. If confronting a man, try to win by all means; in case of defeat, bleed to death like a gentleman; in case of victory, call opponent to yield, then heal'im up with spells and potions and invite him to tag-team Hircine ! 2. If confronting a female, just drop a sword at once and yield to her, then invite her to tag-team Hircine !

Hahaha I hope we can get all the way through the competition before someone tries to Challenge Hircine. Remember for all of those that are good-natured he does have a large number of innocent people at his disposal Personally, I think Luper will end up winning as long as he can keep his wits about him. It will end up a very, very close battle but I can see Luper basking in the glory of victory. No offence Tele I hope you aren't mad

Well Wolf, the reason you haven't seen Jonacin in one of these is because you probably missed the beginning and sign up of it which is located here. I think it's too late to join this one since several fights have gone by but this has been quite fun (even for the losers) and it is very likely that there will be another relatively soon. So its nothing personal that your character wasn't featured Wolf, just missed the signup man. P.S. I think the "draw" option should be removed in the future as there can't really be a tie in a deathmatch where one must kill the other. Thats just what i think though... Smashy smashy It was all in good fun though, and I wouldn't take it personally... Taillus just wanted your soul. I can definately see this happening again! It was really fun to write for another set of characters for a change. Next time I am entering Xander though.
