QUOTE(bloodyfish @ Apr 10 2006, 03:34 PM) No not deadric. Bound deadric. Bound qualifies as a light armor. If you put it on a ring for constant affect, would it be stronger, lighter and more easily replaced than glass? Sorry to burst your bubble, but you can't make a constant effect 'Bound armor' enchantment on anything.

Still, with bond armor you will only create armor. You will need gaunglets, graves, helmet, and optionaly a shield. Why don't you try it out?

Because I use heavy armor and all light armor has low defence for me.

Can anyone post what the defense differance is between someone in all glass armor with skill 100 in light armor, vs someone in all daedric with skill 100 in heavy armor?? And if someone could try with skill 75+ armorer so that all gear is at 125%. I am curious how much lower your armor would be with maxed out light armor... With that 50% bonus, it cant be that much....

With that 50% bonus, it cant be that much.... I can tell you that full daedric at 125% with heavy armor at 100 gives you an armor rating of 85 (I think that it's the maximum possible armor rating) but I wouldn't know what level 100 light armor at 125% gives you. EDIT: I beg to differ with what you say about the 50% increase in your armor rating not being "that much". Say your armor rating (with full glass at level 100 and at 125%) is at 54 normally. with the 50% armor rating increase-bonus, your armor rating would be a whopping 81! 54 divided by 2 equals 27 (50% of you armor rating) 54+27=81 This post has been edited by xycolian: Apr 12 2006, 06:01 AM

I have a character that's lvl 31 wearing light armor with an armor rating of 85... not sure how much difference there really can be there.

He meant the difference between glass and daedric shouldn't be that much for a master at light armor with the 50% bonus.

QUOTE(bloodyfish @ Apr 15 2006, 02:26 PM) Im confused. This has nothing to do with deadric. It has to do with bound items. The bound items are the light armor versions. Im saying that the bound items are better for thieves because they are weightless and light armor. Like a bound everything spell would be useful for fights or something. Well, you can try to create a bound everything spell - you can't enchant it. A bound everything spell would be prohibitively expensive in magika but oould be done if your skills are high enough.

QUOTE(Khaine @ Apr 20 2006, 03:21 AM) For my archer, I have low force which is quite problem with big armors. I got 100 conjuration and created a "full gear" spell so I have nop armor or shield, just my bow and protections against magic and when the monster comes close... bam full bound + lich to help me for 20 sec... Nice, I've never gone that route, but I like it

I'm pretty sure that total glass is better than total bound. I seem to remember getting the bound stuff and being pretty peeved because it actually meant I had a weaker armour and weapon than I had already. Damn glowy night rock things.
