I bought displaycases for my house in Skingrad, and now i want to fill them. But my question: how? I mean... lets say i've got a nice glass dagger i want to put in there. How would i take on that task? Plz help.

Activate the display case, like you would activate a door or pick up an item, the display case will open.

Now simply pick up an item, and drop it into the display case. Be carefull there though, thanks to the havok it's not that easy to position something correctly, unless it's in an upright position

hmm thanks alot for that but: if the thing i want to place inside is in my inventory... how do i get it out of there first?

press and hold shift, then click on the item and you'll drop it.

Then pick it up off the floor and put it in the display case as described above

Hold Shift, then click on it. Then it should fall in front of you.

Or he can directly drag it from inventory to the display case

But if he's directly in front of the display case he'll get an annoying "You don't have enough space to drop this object here" message so if you want to drag the object out of the inventory you have to have a lot of room in front of you.

thanks alot people! After some annoying minutes of waving about my dagger, all around the house, i finally managed to put it into the case. Thanks again.

Good point.I didn's ay my method is better just noted that it is an option.
