Please note I am not talking about the soldiers patrolling the land, but the guys with horse hair on their helmets that guard every part of the imperial city besides the Uni and Palace...

Is there any legitimate way to get their helmet and cuiress (for my achilles guy) because it looks awesome... ive tried the cheat but it sais the item has been added but when i look in my inventory nothing of the sort is there... ?

The very first thing I did after getting out of the dungeon and then knocking over the derelicts hanging at the shrine acrost from the dock outside the dungeon was to see a guy riding on a pretty horse.
I'd had such good luck offing the derelicts that I thought "I'm gonna steal that horse" ... out from under him, mind you. Wrong!!! Bad move! Ibis gets knocked on her *ss & harshly told "First we're taking you to the Imperial city castle, then we're strip searching you for stolen goods, then you'll pay the fine and then, IF WE FEEL LIKE IT, we may let you go."
Ahem, it was apparently one of those official guys you're talking about riding said horse. So anyway, I just look at it like, I got an express ticket to the Imperial City right away without having to hoof it on my own. lolol

here's what I did to get the legion armor suit in such a way that I didn't receive a bounty: I purchased the spell called 'Touch of Rage' (it only costs like 200 gold) at the bravil mages Guild (Frenzy up to level 18 for 30 secs on touch) I then went to the Arena and cast the frenzy spell on the Yellow Team Champion and ran outside of the arena (she will follow you out through the door and the guards will notice that she is assaulting you).
Since she is essential to a quest, she cannot die, so when the guards make her go unconcious, just cast the spell on her again and when she's concious again, she'll get up and continue fighting the guards until they die.

NOTE: you don't get a bounty for casting a frenzy spell on anyone and when the effect of the spell wears off, everyone will stop fighting.

Another NOTE: To cast the 'Touch of Rage' spell you only need to be level 25 in illusion.

Lol, nice one.
There are many ways to get the armor. There are several ways to get guards to attack each other or civilians. That's the fun way to do it IMHO. You can also sneak (when you're decent at it) and get behind one of them. As long as you kill them in one blow - or you're undetectable - you won't get a bounty.
Enjoy the armor! It's not really worth it as it's heavy and doesn't do much for you but other than that, enjoy.

Lol yer when i was taking martin to the temple two of the patrol guard were fighting eachother for some reason... i watched... then stole their armour... so now i have a helmet from them but it doesnt have the horse hair which is more like the achilles/greek style...

Soooo i think ima get a gladiator mad thanks xycolian...

oh and btw i know the armour is worthless, especially since my guy is all about light armour, but i will use the helmet regardless... it looks cool and makes me enjoy the game more so ima use it.
