I've only done one of the main quests, but I've just mastered my last guild!!! I'm now Master of the fighters, mages, thieves and Dark Brotherhood. Level 41 Custom Class Vampire Dunmer. Great thing about being Dunmer and Vamp, the fire resistance/weakness is still in your favor!!! How is everyone else doing?? I did the three official add ons and was really only impressed by the wizards tower. It always seems to be raining at the top though......

I've not started the main quest at all, and i've completed the DB and Arena guilds, i've just been roaming around the wilderness mostly I'm also not having one character for all the guilds but rather have a different one for each, I find the game waaay more fun this way

In the beginning I was under the impression that it was always snowing on top of my wizard's tower, but last night I actually experienced it in good weather. What a view! I love that add-on too, btw. No need to get a house.

Anyway, in my newly started game I'm level 11, done 3 of the join-the-mages-guild quests and a lot of other quests, and 3rd rank in Thieves guild I think. Only joined the Fighter's guild without doing any jobs. I've also become an Arena member, something I didn't even try in my first game. Loving it! Almost Champion now. I've done 'normal' amount of main quests I believe. I'm at the point where I study the books (no spoiler in that I hope).

In my former game I was level 24, which I reached too quickly, which was why I started over, as well as the fact the I'd been cheating by increasing skills using the console. I won't do that in my new game. Argh.. Such a waste.. all those Nirnroots I collected in that game. Have to do it all over! Then again there is no real point in that, as the potions weren't that good... I had access to the Arcane Uni there and had done a few more Mage's quests, and I was about mid-level in the other guilds, including Dark Brotherhood. In the main quest I had completed the Azura mission.

Head of all guilds,finshed MQ,many little quest allready done,nothing much to do (my first char unmoded version)
My second char is a female breton wizard,level 20 so far (with mods)

I have still not had the time to do much...
I started a new game with a darker bitchier character, she's now in the Dark Brotherhood, and I love it! Really exciting jobs.
Hehe, you should see her, she looks so tuff, with that never ending snear, she looks like she's been eating a lemon.

Oh, I forgot about the Arena. Did anyone else think that becoming Arena Champion was a little too easy?? I think I was about level 20 or so when I finished. It was by FAR the fastest guild that I made it through. I haven't done many of the side quests. I was thinking about working on the Daedric shrine quests next. I've only completed a couple so far. But, I've noticed that level progression for my character has slowed down considerably after level 40. 4 of my main skills are at 100, and the others are just VERY slow to advance. Did anyone else think the Orrery mod was a joke??

Yes,Arena is the easyest ''faction'' to complete.If it can ne called a faction really.I mean,there are no quests (exept the one about the Grey Prince,that spoiled it for me),then just fight.That's the faction purpose,just fight.But when you get a certain level and you're fighting 3 Minotaur Lords at once,the money is quite fat.
Daedric shrines are overal interesting quests,especialy the Sheogorath shrine quest

And finaly the Orrery:Yes,it's really a disgrace (spelling?),it just looks cool,but there isn't any cool use of it.But Wizard's Tower......now that's an addon worth 2$!Check my thread here

Well, I WAS level 28, with completed Arena, Fighters Guild, Dark Brotherhood, all houses, most daedra shrines, and quite a lot of other stuff, including the Main Quest.

Currently I'm level 7, having done a little bit of Theives Guild and Fighters Guild, and pretty much nothing else. Levelling up waaaay too fast.

Well like I wrote above I just discovered this, and I'm playing in real time (1x speed instead of the default 30x). I joined as a contestant a little over 9 AM in the game, and by 11:30 I was a champion. Then I had also slept an hour to level up.

So yes, quite easy. I haven't completed it yet though, currently doing that quest for the Grey Prince before I fight him.

You will be disapointed......save the game before talking to Agronak when finishing his quest.....trust me on this.

I've finished DB and Thieves, I'm so-so in the mages guild, I'm putting off the mainquest because the part I'm at is really hard. I've been a vampire, enjoyed it but eventually turned back. I bought 4 or 5 houses. I've done a million side quests. All with my Phantom dunmer.

No,you don't.And i regreted i completed it in the first place.

Will not the log entry of the quest still be in the log if we don't complete it? I hate cluttered logs...

In answer to the main question here - where are you in the game - I am not far along at all, due mainly to the ammount of lag I still experience with my favorite character, who is my Imperial in heavy armor. My khajiit and Nord move faster, but I'm not as fond of the way they turned out as of the Imperial lass. She's quite pretty. I think though that maybe her strength isn't high enough for the Steel Armor I put her in ... I will have to look into this.

Anyway, I've been to see Jaffrey the monk, gotten the stuff from the chest he gives you and then went to Kvatch ... I went into one of the Oblivion gates to help that captain of the guard, but I fell into the lava and couldn't go up. So, I had to end that without saving.

Guess I'm sorta a klutz. (Shutup Pisces!!!)

Playing my third character now.
Finished virtually everything with a Redguard mage/warrior (with social skills! )
played a thief type for a bit but got bored of that.

Trying a mage - Breton. I'm sticking to the character's hatred of weapons so I carry none. Don't even have a staff yet, so I use only magic to win battles. Currently lvl 7 and doing mage's quests.
