QUOTE(stargelman @ Apr 30 2006, 12:48 PM) I just yesterday finished Fallout again. My character reached level 26, has 181 health and is a giggolo, gravedigger, champion and sexpert Not sure where to go from here now. Perhaps go back to Oblivion, try a few additional mods, try a new character? We'll see. That sounds more like Fallout 2. I don't remember being able to become a sexpert or boxing champion in Fallout; though I might be wrong. I myself am trying to decide what to play. I was playing Wing Commander 4 and was considering Rome:Total War, but now I think I want random, wanton violence. This post has been edited by Foster: Apr 30 2006, 01:20 PM

Didn't mean Boxing Champion though, just regular Champion as in champion of the people. But you're right. I did play Fallout 1 a bit earlier though

QUOTE(treydog @ Apr 30 2006, 09:45 PM) Seriously considering digging out Silent Service or something similar... Silent Hunter III is great, and it's in the discount bins by now. They've announced a Silent Hunter 4 too, and that will be with American boats in the Pacific. So if you liked Silent Service you'll probably want to pick up a copy of that... Link to a great sub sim site here. These are the games I've played over the last few months: Morrowind (up until I got Oblivion) X3 - Reunion The CSI games, most of them. Got hooked after I tried the first recently. Rome - Total War (with Rome Total Realism mod) Civilization IV Mafia (that is still one of my all time favorite games after Morrowind) Half-Life 2 (need my dose every now and then) Star Wars Battlefront II The Movies (please don't laugh too hard) Splinter Cell (all 3 of them. Need a dose of those also from time to time) Silent Hunter III Flight Simulator 2004

Rane, My hubby Cain just a couple weeks ago, threw away his DI & 2 disks and deleted all Diablo related content from his hard drive. I can't believe it because Diablo I was the first online game he ever played and after D2 he was really hooked.
He's been through all the changes, the selling of items, buying uber stuff, the upgrades, expanded maps ... the whole D2 experience. So, I had to have it on my comp as well so he could trade with himself. I played 2 characters, a sorc named Jetara and a Spear/Zon named FireLilly. I mainly played Normal, abit of Nightmare, never been in Hell or Cows.
So when I asked him why Diablo is gone, he just said he's outgrown it. (But, very cleverly, I am keeping my disks - for just in case he feels the call of Diablo again...he can use my account.)
===========================
Oh, and I am presently playing Guild Wars. Tried Oblivion, but now I hate my Khajiit's hair, now that I've installed the All hair & eyes mod I have a much wider choice. I have to find the console commands for changing her hairstyle ingame.

(But, very cleverly, I am keeping my disks - for just in case he feels the call of Diablo again...he can use my account.) Heh, if he's anything like me he'll be feeling like giving the game a try again after a few months. That's pretty much how it's been for me ever since I bought the game years ago. I play the game for a certain number of months, get the feeling that isn't that exciting anymore and that I should move on, but then after a few months or so I find myself digging through my CD piles looking for the game's CDs. I can't say that it's the multiplayer part of it that has me hooked, though. I had an account for about a year and a half or so but sometime right after the 1.10 patch came out I couldn't bother myself to keep the account active anymore. Already when I still played online it had become more and more of a challenge to find a decent game session to join. When scrolling through the list of active games I would mostly find stuff like "Offer bugged Tal's set - need good", "Baal run #1214", "LookHere! Noob needs free items!" and similar (do notice that random capitalization and leet speak has been removed to ensure the sanity of the reader). It didn't exactly get any better after the patch...

I just bought Dreamfall, a game I've been waiting for in anticipation. The earlier game The Longest Journey is one of the best adventure games I've played (and I've played a lot of them), so hopefully this will be just as good or better. Still too hooked on Oblivion to quit at this point, but I love having something else to look forward to when I'm getting bored...

QUOTE(Ibis @ May 5 2006, 05:49 PM) I am presently playing the 7 day trial of Dungeons and Dragons. Cain and I are enjoying it pretty much. I think it may be the next game we buy. And since his birthday is in May, there should be no problem. I thought this was an old table-top card game? There is a PC game as well? Did a quick google without luck. Link to this please? Oh never mind. On closer inspection the second page on google was the correct one... This post has been edited by Olav: May 5 2006, 07:55 PM

I just rediscovered Fallout:Tactics. I play it turn-based - it's like X-Com.
