OMGZ peeps.. School really sucked today.. (thats fairly normal come this late in the year) and so I was rather down today, even though it was my burfday.

But i go to the gas station with a few of my buddies to pick up something to drink.. and I see two of my friend girls fighting each other in the MIDDLE of the STREET. I was like wtf.. And my buds girl got beat up pretty badly and he was really pissed cause that other chick tossed a cig in his car (nice street car) and kicked the side of it.

So yea, today was awesome... Reminds me of the gladiator days  biggrin.gif
*

you almost contradicted yourself in a single post... yeah what do you do when some girl beats up your girl friend? its not like you can exactly go and avenge her... kvright.gif

happy birfday BTW

You should always bring along a couple of Calm scrolls... Or Frenzy to make it a bit more interesting... biggrin.gif

Seriously, that doesn't sound too good. Any idea what they where fighting about?

I've never been in a fight, maybe when I was little offcourse. But in later years no.
I wish I were, would be interresting to test my skills...
ohmy.gif
now that didn't sound good, when did I get violent?
Anyway, last year there was these two bald (yes you read right - bald) girls who started to get rough with me totally without any reason. They just: -you think you're pretty huh? Fancy pants!
And so on, but I got them to shut up and awoided a fight. But it was a close one, they started to push me and stuff.
Hehe, that was incredible, what is this world going to when girls start to act like that?

Hey, c'mon, it's the 21st century tongue.gif

Anyway, what's that proverb? Ah yes. "The best way to survive a fight is not to get into one". If you have the skills to talk your way out of a fight, it's always your best option. Even if your pride may take a hit in the process.

I know, because I had both. When I was a kid, I didn't take crap from anyone. I was among the smallest, but when someone thought they could mess with me, I'd stand up to them. It did mean a broken bone or two though, and if one of my opponents had pulled a knife... well. In retrospect, it seems pretty dumb smile.gif

Recently, I haven't been in any fights. Well, no physical fights, only verbal ones. Last year though, I did see a rather entertaining fight - feel almost guilty to admit it was entertaining. I was sitting with some friends in a restaurant outdoors at a place that has a few kiosks and a really rotten fast food thing where people really only go to buy booze, and we were just talking and there was this one guy who was really really drunk walking out of it. Then, all of a sudden a second man came out of there and started to really beat the other guy up like only a drunken guy with absolutely no restraint can do - hitting him in the face real hard, again and again. That poor guy was bleeding and then he went down, and the other guy kept kicking him. Poor guy #1 wasn't moving and a few people approached, probably to see if there was any way to stop the fight without having their own spotted owl kicked, but guy #2 stopped on his own and went back in.

So far, so cruel. Now comes the funny bit. Guy #1 is still on the ground, bleeding, being helped by some passer-bys. He seems really dizzy and barely moves when the police arrive. Now guess what happened! Obviously, nothing had happened. At least that's the impression both guy #1 and #2 tried to convey to the police. They both told the police they were friends and that nothing had happened, and they probably told them that #1 had fallen down or walked into a post or something. They even tried to leave together! The policemen of course didn't buy it but didn't know what to do so drove off. Guy #1 and #2 walked around a bit and then the police came back (they probably tried to catch them in the act or something) and eventually they arrested them both.

Now that was irritating.

The last time I was in a fight (well, only real time) was when I was mugged, a few years back. The police reckoned it wasn't a money attack, but because I had the wrong colour skin in the wrong kind of area. Of course they couldn't prove it. Same thing has happened to several of my friends (one even being chased down the street by a car), but the police don't do anything because 'kill the whites' and 'your kind don't belong around here' don't count as racist insults. I'll be glad when I get the hell out of this town.

The one thing that happened recently with fights for me was to some people I knew, who were sued. A person was badly beaten outside of a nightclub, and a group of doctors who were having a night out stopped to help him. They saved his life until the paramedics came. Then he sued them for practicing their emergency medical skills whilst being under the influence of alcohol. He didn't win, fortunately.

All in all, society is going down the pan.

Once you let them be their way, they only become more arrogant. What did you do then, when they started pushing you up?I don't know how goes for females, but if someone pushed me,he would get an instant fist in the head.It really doesn't metter who's stonger. For me,if somebody punches me,it's my obligation to fight back.As soon as I hit him back, the fight is over to me.Do i get beaten up,or does he gets beaten up it doesn't metter.I showed that i got guts, and if I ''win''(There is not really a ''wining condition'',once you done a fight, you can expect a fight again),even better.
As i said it's not strengtht that realy matters.Sure it's better to be strong, but it's more important not to be a coward wink.gif I've seen really big people, grovel to a lot shorter people, because they ''didn't want any trouble'' a.k.a. being too scared to stand up.Cowards.
Once they see from what you're made of:You got their anger or their respect. It's mostly the first one. Both suits you just fine.I speak this from personal experience.I used to get in fights a lot when i was like 15,16,17......I beaten others, and I was beaten too wink.gif

My pride is priceles to me.I agree that you can try to talk your way out of a fight, but do it with dignity.Offcourse this is the way i was thought my whole life, living in a conservative country, and maybe groveling is the better solution, but it's unacceptable for me.

Knife? What did you do if your oponent has a knife?I hate those knife carrying *peeeep*!

Anyway,i never was afraind of the law suit, because in my country such thing as personal assault is very hard to win.If you beat the hell out of somebody,i think you can only get a few days of prison.I hear thet here in Nederland people are forced to pay enormus fines for just one bruise wacko.gif Still,if i do anything in self-defence,it's completly legal. And that suits me just fine smile.gif

Racism, no matter how it is portrayed in the media, is a two-way thing. Here there is a significant minority of the Asian community that is incredibly hostile to the white population, as there is a significant minority of the white population that is hostile to the Asian community. It's just that it's not trendy to think of racism as anything other than white Vs anyone else. Personally I think all racism is bloody detestable, but from my experience I have been racially assaulted and insulted and nothing is done. Everyone I know lives on edge for saying what is seen as the wrong thing, all the while just...well, taking crap because they have no choice.

Anyway, I live in a place where racial tension is high. There have been riots, and also a lot of suicide bombers and such come from this area (the London bombers are all from a ten mile radius of where I live). What you've got here is a city literally tearing itself apart because of the colour of someones skin, and their religious beliefs. And whilst I'm not saying that everyone is doing it (it's a minority), it still makes living here hell at times.

And no, the doctors weren't that drunk by all accounts, but even if they were they still saved the guys life, rather than just stand around and watch him die.

Racism is a two way thing - but not recognized as such.

If Black people want to stick together and exclusively stay with their own kind it is called Black Pride. IF Hispanics want to liive solely in their own neighborhoods and not speak English - it's called Latino Pride. The same with Asians and American Indians.

But if whites want to stick solely to their own kind, make clubs exclusively for themselves, study their own history - it is called rascism, Klu Klux Klanism, discrimination.

It is a totally unfair interpretation and system. It penalizes the celtic/anglosaxon heritage into practically not recognizing its own roots.
