QUOTE(DarkHunter @ May 26 2006, 11:00 AM) Arygon stepped out of the way watching the man walk toward the door, " Next time, you should visit during the day. It might have... fatal consecqueses (sp) otherwise..." Arygon said watching the man carefully for anything that would be a scabbard or a knife holster... Hecate"Sure" Hecate said to the Breton before he walked down the stairs and went out of the inn.

Deagan, Inn
Deagan lowered his dagger, there would be no sleep for him tonight...even with Hecate gone he might come back during the night and take his revenge. Hecate didn't seem angered by the fact that he'd been betrayed by him...thats what bothered Deagan so much.
What the hell was that? There's no way I can sleep now...
As Deagan sat back on the edge of the bed he sighed and then stood quickly, moving around the bed and to the dresser. He took out his belongings and put them in their appropriate locations before heading for the door.
"Thanks Arygon, I owe ya one." Deagan said as he pushed past him and climbed down the stairs
Perhaps Hecate is still here...I need to find out what his reason is for being here...

He was unsure of what to do with Deagan, the man had backstabbed him, left him to die. With Deagan's help he could manage to infiltrate the group, managing to take the life of the pregnant woman with ease, hopefully.

Deagan, Inn
Deagan looked around the first floor of the Inn with no luck, Hecate was gone. He sat on a stool in front of the bar and ordered another drink.
"I'll have your finest...actually...better make that your cheapest." Deagan said to the barkeep with a slight laugh
He drank pretty heavily for a while and talked to the keep...it was likely that Hecate would return soon...he must have wanted something.

After all, you don't want to compromise this mission, do you?" the mysterious man continued, this time slight anger revealing itself in his voice. "I see your plan, but you would do well to cover your thoughts. Brianna can read them, so to speak. Use your hatred for that Deagon fellow to cover your true motive, that should help."

OOC: The word is priorities. Rahvin Rahvin found himself crouching in a familiar corridor, the floor was lined with a plush red carpet that only served to absorb the sound of his footsteps. The torches around him didn't make him fear capture, because he knew exactly where the guards were.
He had the lock to his destination open in mere seconds, and poked his head in the door. He saw around him a lavish room with ornate furniture and fine belongings, but he ignored them all. He wasn't there for those.
He made his way to a door in the back corner that led to the washroom. He heard humming from behind the door that gave away his taret's position. After slowly opening the door, he continued in his stealthy fashion towards the bathing figure.
Rahvin was crouched behind the man for a few seconds before tightening his resolve. He put his dagger to the man's throat with one hand, and cupped his hand over the lord's mouth with the other.
"You won't order another death, now will you?" was all he said before dunking the man under the water of his own bath. He held on, keeping the man under despite all of the flailing, panic, and splashing. Soon, the movements slowed, and then stopped altogether. ----- He awoked with a start, finding himself in the same chair in the inn, Telina sleeping soundly in the bed across the room. He stood and washed the sweat from his face in the nearby water basin. He was becoming worried, those dreams hadn't haunted him in years....

He stood and washed the sweat from his face in the nearby water basin. He was becoming worried, those dreams hadn't haunted him in years.... Sadril, Behind Rahvin"Your senses obviously fail you while you're in your dream world, Rahvin," Sadril spoke quietly from behind Rahvin as he washed his face. "No matter how much you deny your past it seems to always come back and haunt you in your dreams, am I right?" he conitnued on, as he glided over by the bed silently and hovered over the sleeping Telina. "Pretty girl, it's a shame she goes to waste on that Gorrmund. I'd be in my right mind to draw some blood from her beautiful veins right now, but why rush it?" Sadril rambled on. He seemed to be in the room for no reason other than to stir up trouble, or start a conversation one. "You know, Agnar isn't dead. Which means the price still remains on Brianna's head. You may be unable to finish the job, but others will come to take your place... And your life," he said grimly, talking low enough so as not to wake Telina, "Not just from Agnar, there is more to work in the shadows. Brianna plays a darker role than you could fathom. But look at me going on," he sighed, "If you want to protect Brianna, be willing to give your life for her, otherwise you may as well leave now." Deagan, outside teh inn
Deagan stepped outside and looked around briefly before walking to a nearby house, he glanced around him and then climbed the trellis like he'd done so many times before. The window wasn't too high of the ground but it was just out of his reach from the ground, he slid the window up and crawled through slowly.
A man slept in the bed and there was a wanted poster on the desk next to a candle.
Damn posters...I'm practically famous in this town...not exactly famous I guess...
He searched carefully through the desk and grabbed a few gold coins before leaving out the window, there wasn't much in that place...just enough for another night at an inn somewhere.
Deagan considered leaving and going off on his own but decided against it as he climbed back down into the streets...he wouldn't be as safe alone, perhaps Hecate wanted trouble.
He stood on the street considering leaving...if he did he would have nowhere to go...and he decided that he might as well stay with them.

RahvinRahvin was surprised, not so much that Sadril was there, but that he hadn't noticed. I thought the dreams had stopped... He listened to Sadril while his tired brain sorted through both his nightmare, his surprise and the current conversation. It didn't get any further than "I could draw some blood from her beautiful veins..." "If you so much as touch her, I'll kill you, Vampire." he said in the same low voice Sadril was using. Best if Telina wasn't disturbed. He listened further to the vampire, and got an odd feeling, like Sadril knew alot more than he should about something that everyone else knew nothing about. "You want something, or else you wouldn't be in my room speaking with me. What do you want? You want me to kill Brianna, is that it? Or maybe you want me to swear allegiance to her? I think it's you who should choose a side, vampire." "Otherwise you may as well leave now." he finished, using Sadril's own words.

Hecate slowly made his way through the shadows up to Deagan. "You haven't changed much, have you Deagan?" A familiar voice said, coming from behind Deagan.

Deagan, streets
"Does anyone?" He said as he turned to Hecate with a forced smile
He shook his head slowly,
"Tell me my friend why have you gone through the trouble of tracking me down after all these years?" he asked
He looked around the dark streets, he knew that a fight would not be easy here and hoped it would not come to that but he kept his hand near his blade just in case.
Hopefully Hecate is over that little incident after all these years...but who in their right mind would forgive someone that tried to kill them?

Oh no my friend, this is faith I guess, since I had no intention actually meeting you, tracking you would be hard even for me. But now we stand here, like back in the old days" Hecate replied with a smile, before turning to the first question Deagan asked. "Some people do, some don't. I hope you have, so you don't end up backstabbing all the friends you got in there" He said, waving his head against the Traveller's Inn.

Deagan, streets
"Yeah...the old days...what I wouldn't give..." He started but then stopped when Hecate continued
"You mean to tell me that you haven't been searching for me? You're probably the only one not out for me then..." Deagan asked with a slight hint of disbelief and sarcasm on the last bit
He slowly moved his hand away from his weapon, not a smart action but Deagan truly believed that this man didn't plan on hurting him...not now anyways.
"I don't plan to betray anyone...but I have had the opportunity several times already...it has been tempting. But still I resisted, perhaps I am different than when I worked with you." Deagan said unsure if he was being honest or just making a convincing lie
A guard was walking their way and Deagan stepped off into an alleyway to avoid being sighted, two hooded men talking in the street might arouse suspicion...and Deagan had a high bounty.

Sounds like someone have changed for the better I suppose" Hecate replied, even thought he doubted what he said. He had just seen Deagan steal twice without hesitating, maybe he hadn't changed - then again, he might. "One question thought Deagan. Why are you in a group where you've already seen it as tempting to betray them?" Hecate asked, releasing some curousity and seeking some information.

Deagan
Deagan leaned against the wall of the alley as the guard slowly passed in the street with a torch, he relaxed again after a few moments.
"Why am I still with them?" Deagan re-asked the question
He waited for a moment before answering since in reality he had no idea.
"I'll tell you when I figure that out...because I honestly don't know." Deagan said with a smile
I don't see how he doesn't hold a grudge against me...if I were him I would've tried killing myself by now...wait...killing me...errr...ah forget it.
"What exactly brings you around these parts anyways?" Deagan asked
