Thanks you two happy.gif. I am glad you enjoyed it. This was the second in the series but I have opted to drop it since my mind seems to eb against it's completion. (it akes alot for me to open it up and work on it, and when i do get around to it I can't do it for long.)

Nice Megil...

Do you draw this simply straight on Photoshop or something? unsure.gif

Yeah pretty much. Though I have other programs I'be been meaning to try. I've used Corel Painter IX, and I like it just haven't gotten used to it. I'm also have inkscapers to try, and I'ver been meaning to try opencanvas.

Ok...

Since I found a very cool tutorial on deviantArt somewhere, maybe you've seen it. But it mostly for shading, colouring etc. when using Photoshop, you could try it... a lot of good tips that can improve your pictures a lot wink.gif

I just can't get into corel painter and I just can't get into it. It looks like an advanced version of opencanvas but somehow I just can't seem to understand it. It came for free with my tablet but I haven't realy used it. :/ Have you? Opencanvas is great btw tongue.gif but I only got the free v1 version

that's realy cool smile.gif! The flowers look realy nice, is it digital or traditional work? I think it's nice that you didn't made the background just one color but also didn't made it to busy/chaotic. Cool biggrin.gif!

thanks guys happy.gif.

They are digitally done. Trying to do traditional, but the whole concept of being able to undo has hindered me hehe.

Simply beautiful and delicate florals, Megil. Superbly done. goodjob.gif

Have you thought of combining digital and traditional methods? You mentioned "Trying to do traditional, but the whole concept of being able to undo has hindered me hehe."

If you have a scanner, printer, cd writer, etc. you could start your shapes and color them as much as you wanted to digitally and then put a nice toothy artpaper in your printer and print your pic out on the artpaper. Then use conventional methods to further enhance it - watercolor, soft pencil, whatever you prefer, etc. and then scan it back into your computer and continue to finish it off digitally again.

I've been wanting to try this .. but don't have my printer and scanner hooked up yet since my last reformat. Just busy modding in Morrowind lately. I do scan completely traditional watercolors and pastels into my computer and then digitally enhance them further with Photo Finish. But I've wondered how it would be to start the other way first ... digitally. Like if I need perfect circles I can get them in the Paint program. Or perfect straight lines. Instead of drawing it out with a compass or ruler in RL. I'll get around to trying it one of these days. smile.gif
