I wouldn't say any of them was fitting totally into my taste, good but not so fit for me. But I really loved Walk in the Shadows thought

Sidenote: I bought Mindcrime II the other day, and it was actually highly disappointing, but still alright. I think it's quite obvious that Degarmo left the band.

Today, I've thought of buying Gluecifer Automatic Thrill album and maybe look at some new too, some I haven't heard about, know the guy who works in Platekompaniet a good music shop here in Norway. Maybe he has some advice for me

I'm listening to Kiss, can't remember the name of the song, but its not one of their good ones. Well actaully I am watching it, it is the 10 ten hair metal on TV, all the songs are old school despite the fact long hair never died in metal but old school suits me fine.

It was only disappointing for me because I was pretty much expecting the same '80s metal style and didn't get it. I got a more modern subgenre of rock that I can't put my finger on. I've still been listening to it though; sometimes things like this have to grow on you.

Erotomania is a beast on guitar. Speaking of which, I have to go pick mine up.

Listening to Inferno (Unleash the Fire) by none other than the great Symphony X.

I've taken a much too long break from Symphony X lately, so I decided to remedy that situation with the sounds of the Oddyssey.

I usualy dont like listening to anything that is not heavy but when I first heard Night Wish I fell in love... the chick can sing so good... unlike the other guy who sings... I think he is the bassis... he sucks at singing... he should stick to what he is good at... and that is not singing... by the way they have a new vocalist? What was wrong with the old one?

Don't remember - but the news got out a couple of months ago that their current vocalist has been or is going to get kicked. Don't know why but they are getting a new one as Tellie said.

I'm listening to a bit Type-o-Negative. I know some think it's girlie music, but there's a few songs covering Ozzie! How could that be wrong?

Strange, I have pretty much all their albums, but I keep going back to Converting Vegetarians - perhaps it's because of Blink. That song rocks. The singer has such a seksi voice, too!

Man that sucks... I mean that realy sucks... o well... I stil have Devil Driver...

I gotta give a head's up to some sweet Canadian music. So right now I'm giving props to Strapping Young Lad, an industrial/thrash metal band based in BC. Anything from the two albums I have by them, City, and Alien, are insane! If you're really into heavy double bass drumming, you'll definately like this. I'd suggest listening to AAA off the City album, and Love? off the Alien album. Can't wait for 'The New Black' to come out next month.

Strapping Young Lad kicks a$$... I have only heard "Love?" but that is a realy good song... I had no clue that they were from Canada... but yeah... they deserve Kudos... so... Kudos...

That is my all time favorite Doors track. I hadn't heard much the Doors before I saw the Oliver Stone movie. That was one great movie! It got me hooked on their music (and fascinated by Jim Morrison, for that matter).

I'm a bit surprised to see so many of the young ones here listening to Iron Maiden, Queensryche, AC/DC etc. btw. Those were big when I was a kid! (and that is a looooong time ago, at least physically... ). But then again I was equally surprised 3 years ago when I watched my nephew play a skateboard game on some console, where the general theme music was olden rock'n'roll goldies by AC/DC, Iron Maiden etc. He was a big Maiden fan at the time, btw (he was 16).

Anyway I'm still preparing for the Roger Waters in town next week, so I'm listening to Pink Floyd. No music I've ever heard since Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall have ever reached that level of perfection for me, although Marillion came close when Fish was still the singer.
