That's it. I'm coming to pick you up!

Actually, I'm not sure what state you live in. Or if you even live in the US.  blink.gif

God, that'd be great, wouldn't it?

But yeah, I do live in the US.

Yeh, but you live way, way up on the Northern West coast or Cain & I would come and pick you up in our little '86 back-seatless Honda Civic. lol We took the backseat out to make room for the massive cabinet speakers we have back there.
(Not the real reason but the speakers are back there - Pioneers, about 4 foot tall ones.)

So, if we were able to make this massive trip and zigzag the continent from Florida to Oregon - you'd have to bring a beanbag chair or a blowup armchair or lawn chair ... something to sit in. tee hee

Wish we had enough money to do it! I could visit my sister in Berkely while we were over that way and see if it really is grand to tour the west coast highway with a wicker basket of fried chicken picnic in the back of the car.

You'd also need to pick me up and drive me back down to san fransisco and I could hook you up with anything you needed there.

Wow, Fuzzy - all those bands are gonna play in 4 days? Must really be non-stop music to fit them all in. And I love your new Avvy!

Oh yeh .... just remember your own chairs and possibly sonic earplugs. But you guys are used to loud music. lol

I've owned good sonic earplugs ever since being married to a drummer. Those zildjians chew your eardrums up. They sound great with music but something about the pitch goes right through my skull when he's practicing alone. ohmy.gif

Well, laziness means that this gets copied straight from the Lurker's Lair on TESF

---------------------------------

Today was an absolute disaster for me. Earlier this week I unblocked the friend I mentioned a few posts back... we talked a bit, but it wasn't really a good time, so we didn't cover much. Today I got to talk to her again. We talked for what seemed like ages. Basically, she was fed up with me going back to this and it was making her feel uncomfortable... or something like that. My constant dwelling on 'what could have been' irritates her... and she also want on to say that she doesn't feel like we've been friends for a while now. More that she just fends off my advances because everything seems to come back to this all the time. Among other things. Like the fact that the only reason we grew so close in the first place was because we were interested in each other for a while.

After all that she said she didn't want to be friends with me anymore. I'd made being friends too difficult... 4 months after the initial rejection, I still like her and I keep going back to this. She said goodbye and then blocked me.

So... I lost someone who was very close to me today. For good it would seem. She really meant a lot to me. I'm going to miss her sad.gif

------------------------------------

I'm venting I think... I don't know what I hope to acheive

I feel for you Ramirez. I know what it's like to lose somebody that you really love and that you can't help loving and you feel that it is so right between you .. but alas - they don't.

The only thing I know of is to go on, alone ... until you find someone who does feel and share the same attraction you have for them. And value it for all it's worth ... more than gold. Worked for me.

But I know it is very painful so like I said, I feel for you. Do come here often and be among online friends. Friendship and belonging always helps.

Thankyou smile.gif

It really did feel so right for me... I could sit here and list things all night but there seems little point. I just went round in circles about this too much for her.

I know I've got to go on alone now... she doesn't want anything more to do with me after this. I just don't like being alone... have been like that for too long. Would be nice to meet someone who could return what I felt for them. But I guess thats not going to happen any time soon... maybe not at all.

I don't like all this emotional pain either. I seem to continually get emotional pain without a break. Theres a limit to how much one peson can take.

This just couldn't have possibly gone worse. She really meant a lot to me... now I'll never get to speak to her again

I hear you, I also am a person who doesn't like to be alone. To me sharing makes the bad half as bad and the good twice as good.

And don't you even think for one minute that you aren't going to find a girl to share your attentions with. I've seen your pic and it is definitely going to happen. And in person, not just online. I wish I could give you a date, but that I don't know. But I can just look at you and know that there will be many girls, but one will be special.

Until then, I guess try to think of other things, if you can. Are there any games you like to play that really let your emotions out ragged?? Like Halo does for some people? I would suggest that.

What else? Get interested in anything else that will absorb you and take your mind off things. I know you like Star Trek. Whatever you like - do it. You see that I'm not giving you advice on chasing any other girls because ... that is my advice = Get interested in cool stuff, be interesting & the girls will come flocking. Then YOU can pick & choose.

(I save my stalking lessons for Pisces, it's a fine art ... lolol!)

Well, i was at the hospital on Friday getting those tests done. Apparently i have something called vasovagal syncope. It's nothing serious, a blood pressure thing (still low, by the way smile.gif) and i should grow out of it biggrin.gif
On a weirder note related to this, part of the test was to induce the faint/collapse thing that happens to me. Turns out that while most people would be gone when their blood pressure dropped to 60, i only felt dizzy, etc, when mine hit 50 smile.gif
According to the doctor, my body is very good at compensating for low blood pressure lol

Yeah but tone down the star trek when choosing your new hobbies because I've passed those conventions on the street, and I think you can do better than the general selection I saw there. Then again, there may be a couple hot star trek fans that some how escaped persecution...

You know.. Its been raining alot lately.. I mean a bunch

Damn... this morning when I got up and got ready to go to summer school I went outside and the coldesac I live in was flooded... the water was almost reached my house... I got lucky since I parcked the F150 right by the garage but the naighbors car and truck were completley sunked... I have a picture of the neighbors truck under water but I dont know how to post it here.. so yeah... and I think my mother recorded me and my step dad saving the day... this car was stuck in the water and we went to help the people move it out from the street and into their garage... and when we got in the street to push the car the water reached up to my stomach and almost to my chest, it was crazy man... and the funny thing is that when I barely woke up this morning I had no idea that most of Houston was flooded... I even went to my kitchen got a pop tart and some milk and ate staring out into the rain from my window and I could not see anything... I got the real suprise when I opened the door to go outside...

Wow that sounds really dramatic, Mazelure. Most of Houston flooded?! blink.gif Why haven't we heard anything about this on the news? Has the football WC completely taken over our media?

Anyway best of luck to you and everyone else in Houston.

I know for sure that most of the South Weast section of Houston is without light and it is mostly flooded as well and the North East section but I think that the rest of Houston was unaffected... and I just happened to live in the North East so that suck for me... but yeah... thanks to some miracle thel light did not go off since some people in the South Weast have been without light for allmost a whole day know... but yeah... I have the pictures of the flodded black car to the side of my house... I just dont know how to post it so if anyone wants me to email it to them and then they can post it here that would be cool...

Well I believe you for sure (in case you were wondering. We have lots of flooding in Norway as well that doesn't make it into international news, but the US events tend to reach us), and I don't like spreading my email around the 'net, but if you like to post pics here or anywhere else, or simply to archive them somewhere, this is a great site:

http://photobucket.com

You simply have to register, then point to the place on your HD where you have your pics and upload them, and then you get all sorts of links to post on forums etc. to share your pics. Best thing is that it doesn't suffer the lag problems that places like Imageshack do (at least not yet), so any pics you post load up quickly to anyone you share the link(s) with.
