QUOTE(Dantrag @ Jun 17 2006, 05:09 PM) That's it. I'm coming to pick you up! Actually, I'm not sure what state you live in. Or if you even live in the US. God, that'd be great, wouldn't it? But yeah, I do live in the US. *points to the "from"*

Today I got my hands on the Quart' 06 Festival info-paper... Quart' is a music festival which is held in Norway each year. Great musicians play each year, I wish I managed to catch the last one - where both Audioslave, Foo Fighters etc. played... But this summer it's held in Kristiansand from 4 - 8. July and I really hope I can come and watch some of the peeps play... Here's the following that's going to play: Tool (US) Placebo (UK) Opeth (SE) Wolfmother (AU) Torch (NO) Arctic Monkeys (UK) We Are Scientists (US) Grand Island (NO) The School (NO) Kelis (US) Leela James (US) Sway (UK) Kanye West (US) Slim Thug (US) Lady Sovereign (UK) Darkside of the Force (NO) The Raconteurs (US) Clap Your Hands Say Yeah! (US) Serena Maneesh (NO) The Low Frequency In Stereo (NO) Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley (JM) Atmosphere (US) Grime Allstars feat. Plastician and Digital Mystikz (UK) Depeche Mode (UK) Death Cab For Cutie (US) Infadels (UK) Superfamily (NO) Coheed and Cambria (US) Blindside (SE) Green Carnation (NO) Extol (NO) Rufus Wainwright (US) Maria Mena (NO) Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins (US) Pharrell (US) Mira Craig (NO) Bugz in the Attic (UK) Cunninlynuist (US) Flogging Molly (US) Gogol Bordello (US) The Cat Empire (AU) Bonk (NO) Richard Hawley (UK) Woven Hand (US) Marit Larsen (NO) Vashti Bunyan (UK) Marte Wulff (NO) Muse (UK) The Like (US) Loch Ness Mouse (NO) Heroes & Zeros (NO) Clutch (US) Enslaved (NO) Burst (SE) Brut Boogaloo (NO) Bun B (US) Styles P (US) Amanda Blank, Aaron LaCrate and Low B (US) Long list - but a lot of good stuff there and some I haven't heard of either... But hopefully I'll catch Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Wolfmother, Enslaved, Tool etc... But we'll see... From Oslo, it's about a four hour drive or something to Kristiandsand so...

QUOTE(Ibis @ Jun 18 2006, 11:47 AM) Cool Doom ... we'd pick you up too then. Wow, Fuzzy - all those bands are gonna play in 4 days? Must really be non-stop music to fit them all in. And I love your new Avvy! Ah, what a grand adventure we'll have.

Well, laziness means that this gets copied straight from the Lurker's Lair on TESF --------------------------------- Today was an absolute disaster for me. Earlier this week I unblocked the friend I mentioned a few posts back... we talked a bit, but it wasn't really a good time, so we didn't cover much. Today I got to talk to her again. We talked for what seemed like ages. Basically, she was fed up with me going back to this and it was making her feel uncomfortable... or something like that. My constant dwelling on 'what could have been' irritates her... and she also want on to say that she doesn't feel like we've been friends for a while now. More that she just fends off my advances because everything seems to come back to this all the time. Among other things. Like the fact that the only reason we grew so close in the first place was because we were interested in each other for a while. After all that she said she didn't want to be friends with me anymore. I'd made being friends too difficult... 4 months after the initial rejection, I still like her and I keep going back to this. She said goodbye and then blocked me. So... I lost someone who was very close to me today. For good it would seem. She really meant a lot to me. I'm going to miss her ------------------------------------ I'm venting I think... I don't know what I hope to acheive This post has been edited by Ramirez: Jun 19 2006, 03:38 AM

Thankyou It really did feel so right for me... I could sit here and list things all night but there seems little point. I just went round in circles about this too much for her. I know I've got to go on alone now... she doesn't want anything more to do with me after this. I just don't like being alone... have been like that for too long. Would be nice to meet someone who could return what I felt for them. But I guess thats not going to happen any time soon... maybe not at all. I don't like all this emotional pain either. I seem to continually get emotional pain without a break. Theres a limit to how much one peson can take. This just couldn't have possibly gone worse. She really meant a lot to me... now I'll never get to speak to her again

Well, i was at the hospital on Friday getting those tests done. Apparently i have something called vasovagal syncope. It's nothing serious, a blood pressure thing (still low, by the way ) and i should grow out of it On a weirder note related to this, part of the test was to induce the faint/collapse thing that happens to me. Turns out that while most people would be gone when their blood pressure dropped to 60, i only felt dizzy, etc, when mine hit 50 According to the doctor, my body is very good at compensating for low blood pressure lol

QUOTE You know.. Its been raining alot lately.. I mean a bunch Damn... this morning when I got up and got ready to go to summer school I went outside and the coldesac I live in was flooded... the water was almost reached my house... I got lucky since I parcked the F150 right by the garage but the naighbors car and truck were completley sunked... I have a picture of the neighbors truck under water but I dont know how to post it here.. so yeah... and I think my mother recorded me and my step dad saving the day... this car was stuck in the water and we went to help the people move it out from the street and into their garage... and when we got in the street to push the car the water reached up to my stomach and almost to my chest, it was crazy man... and the funny thing is that when I barely woke up this morning I had no idea that most of Houston was flooded... I even went to my kitchen got a pop tart and some milk and ate staring out into the rain from my window and I could not see anything... I got the real suprise when I opened the door to go outside...

Well I believe you for sure (in case you were wondering. We have lots of flooding in Norway as well that doesn't make it into international news, but the US events tend to reach us), and I don't like spreading my email around the 'net, but if you like to post pics here or anywhere else, or simply to archive them somewhere, this is a great site: http://photobucket.comYou simply have to register, then point to the place on your HD where you have your pics and upload them, and then you get all sorts of links to post on forums etc. to share your pics. Best thing is that it doesn't suffer the lag problems that places like Imageshack do (at least not yet), so any pics you post load up quickly to anyone you share the link(s) with.
