Just because it's old doesn't mean it's bad. I'm a huge Judas Priest fan myself. Then I also enjoy the 80s thrash still, like Anthrax and Megadeth. But then I'm into more current stuff as well, like Kanye West, or Three Days Grace (another awesome Canadian band). I just enjoy a lot of different genre of rock for the most part. But then there's guilty pleasures like the Beastie Boys or K-Os.

Keep rockin'! \m/ (o_0) \m/

Go, if only for Opeth.

I'll probably kill myself if you don't go see them.  laugh.gif

Thought of buying some of Opeth records today, along with their live DVD - Heard some of their songs, it's not bad smile.gif

I'm listening to some John Mayall. Haven't listened to him in a while now, but this morning, I really felt like listening to some good blues.

*sighs* I wish there was more music made by both Santana and John Lee Hooker. Their song "Chill Out" is one of the greatest Blues songs ever!

I started my childhood liking country but that's probably due to my mom loving it. I have since grown out of it, though every now and then I'll still enjoy a good Garth Brooks song.

Also yea, gotta dig the Opeth stuff. Personally I find their acoustic stuff fantastic. Damnation is easily my favourite album with 'In My Time of Need' as the most beautifully haunting song I've listened to for quite some time.

Keep rockin' \m/ (o_0) \m/

Still listning to some Disturbed over here, mostly from the albums The Thousand Fists and The Sickness. Pretty much like KoRn, even thought from the songs I've heard - Disturbed is pretty much the same metal through-out their songs, playing mostly Metal. While KoRn has more Alternative, Rock, Industrial and Metal music. But anyway, I think both are pretty good...

Hehe, Down with the Sickness is pretty well-known for it's intro wink.gif

A little Symphony X again, because I use it as inspiration when I'm writing actually. Anyone another great song, not too heavy either but very chill to listen too and has always been nice to listen to when I write.

Nice to see some people digging Disturbed and Judas Priest, and Megadeth. Quality stuff if ya ask me. I would just like to recommend a good progressive metal band, The Devin Townsend Band. Just fantastic all the different layers and sounds they use.

For instance, one of the tracks sounds like a funky polka! Polka! It's called Vampolka, and it basically flows right into a solid rocker, Vampira.

Really cool, and sometimes funny, stuff.

Keep rockin' \m/ (o_0) \m/

Well, I just bought the AC/DC album For those about to Rock. Listening to the song It's a Long Wy to the top(if you wanna rock and roll)

And tomorrow I'm going to the Pink Floyd consert here in Stavanger, so I'll enjoy some good music tommorow as well.

I'm going to that as well, of course! smile.gif And unless I've misunderstood (which is certainly not the first time), it's tomorrow from today (actually it's still the day after tomorrow for me, since I've just returned from town at 5 am). And it isn't a Pink Floyd concert, but a concert with Roger Waters, which admittedly has said that he's going to perform a lot of Pink Floyd songs, so I guess it's correct anyway, since Roger Waters is the 'true' mind behind Pink Floyd.

Going to miss David Gilmour's guitar solos and vocals though, but I've heard that Mr. Waters have brought with him some excellent musicians that handles the job quite good.

Either way, I'm truly looking forward to that concert!
