So, Midsummer's Eve is here. Kind of snuck up on me too. We were assigned a bunch of patrols through the nearby city to make sure that none of the other soldiers are misbehaving. Sounds reasonable, until you hear that the majority of the brigade is home, spending the Midsummer together with their families. Due to that there are zero militaries around here for us to keep an eye on (not counting ourselves obviously).

Not only that, but the entire city seemed empty. I'd say there were about 30-40 people moving about in the core of the city. That's a really small number considering the 2000 or so that live in the area. I guess everyone is either elsewhere at some major concert or other event or then they're sitting home, preparing for tomorrow.

Midsummer '05 was a bit different, that's for sure. Almost everyone were spending their Midsummer on their own or the neighbour's backyard, having a barbeque or something similar. Some obviously went to the beach or a concert, but you could still run into a lot of people in the close vicinity of your house.

Perhaps it's just this city, though.

Unfortunately me and the sun do not get along very well, it tends to burn me quite easily so I'm going to forgo the beach trip....

Yea, I used to be really hardcore into Starcraft. I wouldn't mind getting into it again but I wouldn't think the old crowd I play with would be there anymore. Ohwell, looks like Tommy.Soprano will forever be in retirement.

And yea, Dark Archons were nice units. Especially if you could get away with mind controlling a harvester of another race, then you could start another race!

Protoss and Terran together woo!

It happens to be known as "Gaia Online" An Online Anime Community. It has over 4 million members, Whew! wacko.gif

Also, Rainer ecently joined a forum dedicated to the Anthromorphic Fandom. Canadian user-oriented.
