God... Have been sick quite a while now and got pretty bad on Thursday; started by throwing up at around 21:15 after lying in my bed in pain for several hours, then it felt a little bit better, took a shower and about 30 min when I got into my room I threw up straight away again... Around an hour later I threw up again... and then again right after twelve. Didn't manage to sleep at all, then around 04:00 I threw up again. Went to sleep after that and when I got up I threw up yet another time at 09:00. Lost a couple of pounds alright...

So I've been in bed all this time, drinking like a river of water each day and watching the World Cup... Anyway, feel much better now without the stinging pain in my stomach and all that - But at the moment, a muffin sounds pretty sweet

There are swedes in my country?

yup! And quite a few of them!.....Hubby, son and second daughter will come over in two weeks......and I´m coming end of September so beware!!!!

Coming to live, or just to visit?

Visit....they´ll stay about 10 days....I´ll be there for at least three weeks if I can find enough ppl to stay with!

Oh my god man, the exact same thing happened to me on Thursday, I didn't even go to work the next day. By the exact same thing I mean read that post and you've got exactly how I felt. The differrences being that my sickness was alcohol induced and I'm assuming that yours was not and that I couldn't remember several hours of that night.

Poor Fuzzy!!! I'm hoping that you are feeling much better by now. Cain got a sickness like that, a virus, and it was awful to try to take care of him but there really wasn't much to help except to let it run its course. You have a vanilla muffin but no beer or anything hard on the stomach for awhile.


Well Minque, you come down to Sanford, Florida and you will find plenty of Swedish people to stay with. Back in 1870 a man who was the previous Ambassador to Sweden bought some land in Florida and couldn't hire enough local people to clear the land and plant his orange trees. So he sent to Sweden with the announcement of free boat passage, sponsored citizenship and five acres of land for anyone who'd come work his citrus groves. He got 100 voluteers and that's how the lovely town of Sanford, Florida was born and Florida's Swedish population was begun. Or so I read ...

Man, my house is a mess. Was my sister's 20th birthday party last night, so a large group of her friend's were here. All i know is that there was large amounts of alcohol involved (of which i did not partake, i don't drink) and this morning my house is a total wreck. Floors are destroyed with spilled drinks and dirt and foodstuffs, random empty or half full drinks all over the place, and of course now me and my sister, and maybe a couple fo her friend's have to clean it all up.

'Uhhh......I can understand! Jee...it´d be a good thing for them to clean it up.....especially if they suffer from a hangover...Nothing beats a good cleaning when you got a nice hangover....Ewwww.....

I also know how that feels. My brothers (who are twins and younger than me) had their birthday party at our house. Our parents were gone for a whole week, so they decided to get one of their older friends to get them a keg of beer for their party. What I thought was going to be around 30 people, which I didn't mind, turned out to be over 100! The house felt like a case of sardines until 4 or 5 in the morning. The next day, all my brother did in cleaning up was take all the beer bottles and get money for the deposits. They didn't start to really clean until the day before my parents got home about a week later! I had to sleep in a filthy house for a week, I didn't enjoy it much.

Sometimes I hate the popular social class...

I'm in a really, really good mood for the first time a long time, my life is looking spectacular now that I really think about it. Sure, I have no propositions, no hope for the future, a couple naggy parents and I;m stranded between two of California's semipermeable, but I had my first lucid dream last night and it was dan fun, like, the ultimate high, cocaince, acid, shrooms and ecstacy combined ain't got compassion on this. Also, I'm making bombs for tomorrow and that's one of my favorite hobbies so I've been enjoying myself (I just need some salt peter for the smoke bombs but whenver I ask for some the store clerks look at me weird).

Right you are my stargelish friend and I must admit, the fact that other countries don't celebrate the fourth of July always seems to slip my mind. Guess I should think outside of the U.S. about traditions and stuff...

Well then, happy revolution Day to all ye Americanos here and please try not to blow up anything larger than a doghouse...

G'day Mates! This is Rainer reporting from Sydney Austrailia.

Rainer is just two days into his two-week Band tour of Austrailia. He lost his first day on the flight here. Uhg, Jet lag...

Anywho, Rainer will not be on all the time. He is currently at an Internet Cafe. But be sure to hear lots of good tales when Rainer gets back. He already has a good one involving an elevator and couple from the Zoo
