Well, hooray for you! But you must be sure to tell them that your primary responsibility is a little community called Chorrol.com! If work interferes with that.... there could be consequences.

Yeah. Tell them you have prior obligations to us that take up most of your time and that you'll work for them in whatever time you have left.

Congrats on the new job minque! goodjob.gif

Thanks a lot! Well I´ll tell them what you said......ehrrm....on the other hand it might be wiser just not to...they might find it appropriate not to give me that very much needed extra money!
I´ll see to that I can come here as much as usual......

Congrats Minque on your new job! I'm very happy for you. biggrin.gif

Stargelinho, make sure to get a battery powered APC uninteruptible power supply. That way, when lightning strikes - your whole system gets switched over to the battery supply and your system gets a soft-off.

When my computer got smoked out and ruined from a power problem, Cain had the battery backup & his computer suffered no damage at all.

Thanks Ibis! I´m just now sitting here watching the sky.....it looks a bit darker.....and it´s very hot and humid..so I won´t be surprised if something will come this way...something like.....thunder!

NO! I'm an animal rights activist!

Speaking of which, I applied for a job with a bunch of insane animal-lovers. I mean, I like animals, but these people adore them.

THe job I applied for is a boarding house for dogs. RIch people that are going out of town for whatever reason leave their dogs here. The dogs have assigned roommates (which are other dogs) they have air-conditioning, couches, TVs in their rooms, a movie night. It's ridiculous.

But if I get a job there, it's money. And great stories to tell my friends by making fun of my coworkers. laugh.gif

Boarding house for doggies!? Now that is funny.....I mean we also have some dog-kindergarten here but the dogs only have their own cells....no tv or aircondition...no way...those things could only happen in America! yayyy......You also have dog-restaurants right? I´ve read about that...and I find it hilarious!

Are you going to show us toothache pictures, MetalMallet? Like with the icepack up to your swollen face and all?? ohmy.gif

Unfortunately for you but fortunately for me, the dental surgeon said I didn't need to wear the funny-looking icepack chinstrap, and my face didn't really swell at all. I'm only taking some antibiotics, painkillers, a mouthwash, and just icing the side of my face from time to time. Sorry guys!

I was just looking at a thread on TESF about the advert for that new white PSP, adn i was wondering what people here think of it.
ersonally i don't see how anyone could find offence in it, it just shows two people. Although i find it hilarious reading the TESF thread with a load of Americans getting all bent out of shape over it biggrin.gif

I've got an update on it, someone hacked the site. But it only affects people who use the tan skin, so switch skin as soon as possible

Thanks for the warning Wolfie. That's the last thing I need. I just had to do a total reformat due to a virus I had gotten when somebody hacked The Elder Vaults website. I am not going to go to TESF at all then until I hear that there is an all clear.

It's not a full-out trojan.

According to several people I've talked it, it's very easily removed.

Stay away from the forums because even people on different skins are experiencing odd problems, such as computer freezes.

Yep, slammed me, too. Bunch of different trojans and exploits tried to piggyback on. McAfee caught them, but then XP started complaining about "Spyware, Your Computer has been infected!" Even though it couldn't actually FIND any spyware. Finally, used a Restore Point from yesterday to kill the stupid warning message. Needless to say, will be avoiding the official forums for a while. Glad this site is my "home." tongue.gif

Apparently, for some the pop-up isn't coming up.

I doubt the coast is clear though. I'm still not touching the forums with a 10 meter pole!

Oh I am so glad to be "home" here too. And the FanFiction here is just exquisite. I read all of Serene of Cyrodiil up to and including Chapter four and then I can't find anymore links to more chapters. Is that all there is available now? Is the rest stored away in Minque's lightning-struck hard drive in her purse? If so, now I see why she carrys it around in her purse. It's priceless in entertainment value. biggrin.gif

So now I am reading a rollicking adventure story from Morrowind called The Story of Trey, about Trey of High Rock who is a young alchemist-by-profession/thief-by-neccesity who finds himself in Morrowind coping with the strangeness. It grips the imaginationa and makes one want to play Morrowind again, which I am going to go do in a few minutes .... the name of the author is quite gripping and a bit funny too, but just escapes the grip of my memory at this time. lolol

Something sort of canine I seem to think but all I can think of are Nix-Hounds right now. They certainly can be gripping with those big mouths full of teeth indifferent.gif

Actually Ibis, some of chapter 5 can be found in the Fan Fiction forum. Chapter 5 isn't completely done yet but it looks promising from what I've read so far. There's plenty of good fan fiction found in the forums that aren't in the fan fiction area of chorrol too. But I do know that Trey's complete story is where your reading the fan fiction right now.
