HyPNO! I´m not using my own comp at the moment, it´s broken from being struck by lightning...So what I´m using is a lappy I "borrowed" from my work. At work we have internet explorer as default browser, and I don´t want to download too much on this one because when I return it it has to be clean. Normally I naturally use Mozilla!!!!

Hmmm, why don't you install Firefox now, and Uninstall it when you need to get it back?
QUOTE(Ibis @ Jun 26 2006, 10:36 PM) *

I hope that my desktop pics are visible now. I used the recommended program.

They sure are biggrin.gif
I have updated the first post how to use Thumbnails smile.gif

QUOTE(FafsaTheElf @ Jun 26 2006, 11:30 PM) *

oh, didnt know that was minque's company computer. sorry sad.gif Still, firefox is the best

That's very questionable. Opera is faster and more stable than Firefox IMO, but I use Firefox because of it's awesome plugins wink.gif

QUOTE(Wolfie @ Jun 27 2006, 01:19 PM) *

It wont work, the thing is it's teling me the file size of the jpg is too big. It's something like 2419kb or something like that, and imageshack onl;y takes things up to 1500kb

Are you sure you're uploading a jpg and not a bmp? The size of a JPG should be a LOT smaller. About 120 KB.

Here's my desktop...

Wallpaper

I think its not too busy... it keeps plenty of room for icons and features one of my favorite pieces of machinery.
Not much else to say I guess.

Woah, that's crazy cool.... cool.gif

Here's mine

Though, I'll have to post another one later, I alternate between two comps (long story), that's of the crappier one I sit at now - the one with (of course) Morrowind, but not Oblivion (I haven't tried, but since Morrowind can strain this at times, I know Oblivion would pwn it... tongue.gif ).

'Tis from a upcoming movie (which, really, has yet to go into production, but is already awesome... biggrin.gif)

I just wanted to add that this is my screensaver ... 1MoonAbove ... it shows the same exact phase of the moon that is going on outside your house. You set the coordinates to your longitude and latitude and set the distance view and whether you want to see trees, stars, clouds, etc.

I like it alot, it makes seeing the real moon when you go outside more intimate somehow.

Sorry for the double post, although they are ages apart ... but I wanted to make a nice screenshot of my "1 moon above" screensaver yesterday when it was a nice full moon. This screensaver goes along with the real cycle of the moon and shows it from your exact longitude and latitude. I would recommend it for anyone who has an interest in science or nature. Does anyone else have cool screensavers? I used to have Vincent Van Gogh...that one was nice too.

Very nice. Is that your car too? How do you manage not to have the usual computer icon and the other few that seem to be requisite. I see you do have one icon at the top. Does look very nice and clean though.

I wish it was my car. Someday it will be. Whenever I install windowsXP it puts the 'My Computer' icons and everything in the start menu. All I have on the desktop is the recycle bin.

asy way to not have icons on your desktop is to make sure you click "do not add a desktop shortcut" when you install something. and also manually deleting icons. and to get rid of the recycle bin icon just right click on your desktop>arrange icons by> show desktop icons. and voila any icons that were on your desktop dissapear happy.gif.

There's mine. I even found a brand new Symphony X wallpaper, just for you guys.

EDIT: it was way too big, so I shrunk it.

The current one. The wallpaper is from a package containing a bunch of rendered landscape/planetary views.

As far as I know, those places don't exist. The picture (and the rest in the pack) are all created with the Terragen program and then modified with Photoshop 7.

You can get the aforementioned wallpaper pack from here.

OH YEH Zarrexaij!! *Clapping hands wildly in admiration* I recognize your artwork from the FanArt forum. It looks absolutely marvelous as desktop art. That is just perfect.

Thanks for the info Rane & especially for the links. I also love *claps again wildly* the terregan artwork that you've posted in the FanArt forums.

You guys both keep up the good creative work ... biggrin.gif
