WOOHOO....glad to see you again minky. Not too much have happened, the rp is moving its regular pace (not an inch for that matetr ), and lately me and Ibis at least have discussed a bit of music, and I just started to try to get a new trend going on with getting you others to have the logo of your favourite band, as avatars (although I have no idea how succsessful it will be).

I'm going to compete with an entirely different trend when I come up with one.

Oh I have really enjoyed myself this summer, I've also joined in a band (not know at all I'm afraid )...but still always nice to have someone to play/sing with. The weather have been nice, and not having work or school, is really relaxing.

I've have been using a band avvy before they starting attempting to be trend. But only Tool fans who bought Aenima would know that my eye picture is one of three album covers that comes with that CD.

So, sofar, the trend is of two people for band logo's and two for doomed's trend.

Though I'm shocked Dantrag would choose doomedone. Didn't you have a guitarist as an avvy before, c'mon your a music dude, you should be on our side!

I have joined the Tellie craze of having a band avatar. I drew this one myself. Feels alittle strange having a dude atached to my name, but guess there are male ibises too. ?What am I saying ... of course there are! Besides, he's not just any male ... he's the Lizard King/

Soooo, anti- heroes is the theme for yours right?? I'd be one of those mama vamp babes flying through the air in Van Helsing ... is that what it was called? The vampire hunter with the flat cowboyish hat and double reverb crossbows.

Augh it's that time of year again . textbook buying time for the coming semester. I really ahte this time of year, you spend so much money on something that shouldn't cost that much. I just priced my books at $300, that's after going through cheapest online retailers and used and international books.

Wow Megil, what major do you study? I seem to remember that it's art related, but I seem also to remember being surprised about something scientific you were studying ... sorry my moemory is so bad.

Is there any student exchange on campus for Used Books? I always tried to buy mine that way ... sometimes you'd luck out and get one from a conciencsous A+ student who used highlighter like crazy. But I certainly do know what you mean about the exorbitant prices of text books which is ironic because if those books weren't required for classes, no one'd bue them at all.

What do you consider an anti-hero? A hero with a little depth to him? In my opinion Batman didn't start to get interesting until Frank Miller took over and wrote Dark Knight Returns, in which Batman was... well... a bit of an anti hero, and superman was a villain. I'd pick anti-hero over classic hero any day, because, as you see in Dark Knight Returns... classic heroes think they're infallible, and the worst atrocities on the planet were comitted by people that thought they were infallible.

Yes Doomed, I love the Dark Batman cartoons .. the ones set in the 1940's .. might they be the ones you are referring to?

I think that Van Helsing was an Anti-hero ... the real villains were the vampires he hunted of course .. but he was on the outs with the church and got recruited for his job as sort of a redemption or penance for his mortal soul.

That's the kind of hero I like - protagonist/antagonist melded ---- like my sweet lizard king.

Oh my... I've been soooo busy... so very very busy. I got a kitten (a himalayan) and I have been taking care of him. He's so adorable... I've been enjoying the rest of my summer before my boyfriend moves away and I have to go to school again. My boyfriend moves tomorrow and I start school on Monday. Luckily, my boyfriend will be moving only an hour away to a town my family and I frequent, and he will be coming home every weekend. So, I'm not worried about him going to college. I am however, worried about my classes. They've mixed up my schedule, so I'm going to be getting that fixed ASAP. I am looking forward to going back to school. I'll be a junior in high school. So, I'm starting to investigate colleges and really REALLY thinking about what I want to do with my life. College stuff is so confusing. But, I am very very glad to be back in Chorrol!

Looks like you're in the same boat as me, Kayla (excluding the boyfriend and the kitten and the being busy part ). Gotta figure out which college I wanna go to, or what university I wanna go to, because I definitely have the grades for university but I don't think I need university courses for what I'm going to be looking at for a career (electrician, digital electronics, maybe robotics). Since that field is more hands on than academic I could save money by going the college route instead of university (which is generally more expensive here in Canada).

The parents are starting to get on my case about researching colleges for courses I'm interested in, so I oughta start that soon.

And I, too, second the welcoming back of Kayla.
