The next one. Last ThreadQUOTE(minque) This is meant to be a place where you can talk about anything without having to stay on topic. Feel free to ask questions, to talk about the things in your life you like to share with your fellow-members. Or just step inside for a while, have a coffe and a good chat! You may feel free to post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the forum. But if the conversation degrades to spam, you will be treated as though you are spamming anywhere else on the forum. This is a thread where you can relax and talk about personal things, but it is not to be used as an excuse to make pointless posts. Please help to keep this alive and well and a place where we can meet and share. Enjoy your stay here!!!
And the rules: QUOTE(Alexander) We had intended the coffee shop to be a nice place where people could talk about their daily activities and such, kinda like the Lurkers Lair on the Official Forums. It didn't quite turn out that way though, people have been taking advantage of their freedoms in here, there has been a lot of spamming and even some flaming. We will not tolerate that any longer. So unfortunately we've had to decide to increase the rules for this thread. Of course the normal forum rules still apply, but we'll elaborate here.: 1. No spamming. We consider double posting and posting posts with only a few words to be spam. If you do that your post will be deleter or moved, do it too often and you might receive a warning for it. We also consider chit-chat spam. This forum has a special chat channel for chatting, you're welcome to go there, and chat with other members or with the staff as we're always there, doing it in here is not allowed. The address to that chatroom is: W4O chat And for assistence to use a chat like this, I recommend looking over this thread: http://forums.waiting4oblivion.com/viewtopic.php?t=248Or contacting one of the Administrators. 2. No discussion of accounts or warnings. There shall be no more discussion about members, about accounts, about how many warnings you've gotten or anything like that. 3. No trolling. No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming. 4. No religion or politics. No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it. If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator. If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator. If you're wondering how we think a Lair or the Coffee Shop should look like, what we do allow, then I recommend taking a look at the Lurkers Lair at the Official Forums. Don't got much to add and I'm in quite the hurry now. Places to see, people to annoy and so on.

QUOTE(Intestinal Chaos @ Aug 20 2006, 03:19 AM) EDIT: Whaaat? Since when has this been the "lil'" coffee shop? So much has changed Since Rane got ahold of it. Anyways welcome back mate. Zarr: I hope he turns up alright if he hasn't already. Megil: Lol, man that had to be awkward...its too bad you won't be around much anymore either but I think we all understand, after the summer things slow down alot and everyone has something they gotta do.

Yeah, I'm glad things turned out alright. I recall causing a few scared like that myself Man, things don't seem to be doing well on thedarkbrotherhood.com forums. This might actually destroy the project, the project leader and one of his workers got in a major argument that tore the forum in two. Apoligies seem to be being made now, but how does this bode for the project? Ah, sorry. Bringing other forum business on here, but still.. I want very much for this project to go through. Thats good to know Zarr, though he should've told you where he was going I can sort of relate. Some guys (like myself) just don't think about how worried people will be when they go somewhere without telling them. It happens and chances are he didn't mean to worry you.

QUOTE(minque @ Aug 20 2006, 10:04 PM) QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Aug 20 2006, 10:17 PM) Well, I finally got ahold of the house.
He's back at his father's now. I think he just got back, too.
He was hiding out at his mother's house all this time. <_<
Oh phew! I´m glad he´s back, but how could he do that to you? Get you worried like that...hmmmm not very nice but still it´s good that he´s back right! Some people just don't think about it before going off without telling anyone, once when I still lived with my parents they filed a missing persons report because I left for three days without saying anything...guess I just didn't think it through before leaving...

Delightfully non-busy here Channler. And you? Where've you been hiding. Have you lined up college in the fall? Do I recall something about Boston? Or maybe you just were visiting there awhile back. (you know me and my lack of memory ...) Zarr, I'm very glad he's returned and yeh, Kiln is right - guys are that way. Part of being independent. My hubby used to just leave with his friends while I was at work and I'd have no idea where he was or when he'd return. I kept trying to get him to write notes but I think that was considered sissy by the guys. So, I put a shopping list kinda message board by the front door and then they'd leave smile signs on it for me. It was something - to make me not worry.

I've just gotten busy, too! I made some changes to the forum. Let it be known that new users now no longer start out in the 'members' group, but rather have to prove themselves before they can enjoy certain privileges. This is a measure to reduce spam on this forum. We don't get much of it, but it's still very annoying, so we're doing something about it. So if a new guy or gal asks you what is going on, just tell them to relax, take it easy and be a good citizen, and all will be fine for them in no time

Stupid spammers polluting our boards...I'm glad to see you trying something to prevent people from signing up just to post their garbage because it has grown more frequent in recent times.
