The next one. Last ThreadQUOTE(minque) This is meant to be a place where you can talk about anything without having to stay on topic. Feel free to ask questions, to talk about the things in your life you like to share with your fellow-members. Or just step inside for a while, have a coffe and a good chat! You may feel free to post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the forum. But if the conversation degrades to spam, you will be treated as though you are spamming anywhere else on the forum. This is a thread where you can relax and talk about personal things, but it is not to be used as an excuse to make pointless posts. Please help to keep this alive and well and a place where we can meet and share. Enjoy your stay here!!!
And the rules: QUOTE(Alexander) We had intended the coffee shop to be a nice place where people could talk about their daily activities and such, kinda like the Lurkers Lair on the Official Forums. It didn't quite turn out that way though, people have been taking advantage of their freedoms in here, there has been a lot of spamming and even some flaming. We will not tolerate that any longer. So unfortunately we've had to decide to increase the rules for this thread. Of course the normal forum rules still apply, but we'll elaborate here.: 1. No spamming. We consider double posting and posting posts with only a few words to be spam. If you do that your post will be deleter or moved, do it too often and you might receive a warning for it. We also consider chit-chat spam. This forum has a special chat channel for chatting, you're welcome to go there, and chat with other members or with the staff as we're always there, doing it in here is not allowed. The address to that chatroom is: W4O chat And for assistence to use a chat like this, I recommend looking over this thread: http://forums.waiting4oblivion.com/viewtopic.php?t=248Or contacting one of the Administrators. 2. No discussion of accounts or warnings. There shall be no more discussion about members, about accounts, about how many warnings you've gotten or anything like that. 3. No trolling. No posting of random nonsense, no posting of irrelevant things, no posting the same thing over and over just to get it noticed, no swearing or flaming. 4. No religion or politics. No discussion about religion or politics is to be had in these threads. If you want to discuss religion or politics, please do make another thread, or if another such thread already exists, please post in it. If you have a question about the rules of the forums, feel free to ask it to either a Global Moderator or an Administrator. If you're unsure if something is fit to post here, it might be. Again best to ask a Global Moderator or Administrator. If you're wondering how we think a Lair or the Coffee Shop should look like, what we do allow, then I recommend taking a look at the Lurkers Lair at the Official Forums. Don't got much to add and I'm in quite the hurry now. Places to see, people to annoy and so on.

QUOTE(Ibis @ Aug 31 2006, 06:35 PM) Mil, did you make up that word or is that the cesor at work again?
I made it up, especially for type of situation where all goes wrong ><. QUOTE(Zarrexaij @ Aug 31 2006, 10:17 PM) Well, har-de-har-har-har, things turned out ironic.
Ironically, the day I work up the courage to talk to him he's not there. Normally, he's outside his classroom in between classes. I checked three times for him. Not there....
I swear it's a conspiracy. Either these series of events have been odd coincidences, he has a Zarrdar, or (even more coincidently) he's a member of at least one of the forums I post on.
Or perhaps two or all of those. Anyway it goes, it's damn freaky I tell j00.
Damnit.

QUOTE(Ibis @ Aug 31 2006, 08:19 PM) Ohhh Stomach Ache ... and we were just so enjoying having you around and posting again. Well, I do understand the melancholy you must be feeling ... do try to keep in touch with her at MySpace and by email. Are telephone calls out of the question??
Listen Chaos, I was just reading last night about Mary Steinburgen (sp?) and Jim Morrison. She was his first love before he got famous, when he attended the Univ. of Florida in Tallahassee and every weekend he'd hitch-hike back to Clearwater to be with her. But during the week - they'd talk by telephone and here's how ... Mary would find a different pay phone each time and send him a letter with the phone nymber for that phone booth and what time he should call her there. Then he'd call.paying for the first three minutes and they'd talk for a long time. Then when the operator called back with the charges of how much change he should drop in the phone, he'd already have walked away. Pretty romantic huh?
I guess the phone company doesn't let you phone like that anymore ... probably make you pay up front. Best thing would be if you or Jamie got a cell phone that has free national calls and buy phone minutes for it. Maybe you already have cell phones. Don't despair, you will see her again. Maybe you could visit down there somehow, if her parents like you.
Oh I'm good with the phone things, we have unlimited long-distance. I don't know all the details, but I do know that I can call from here and it's free. It's not all bad really, I just need to get re-use to things being long-distance again, I've become accustomed to things being closer. I'll get over it, probably sooner than I think. I've never had it so rough, long-distance is torture, but for her it's worth it. I won't go into the "she's the most wonderful gir ever, etc" stuff, I don't like listening to other people say it, so I won't go and be a hypocrite now. I'm starting to feel better anyways, I'm just binging on videogames to distract myself and soon enough I'll be my same old self again. Besides, I should be able to talk to her by... tomorrow or the day after that, so by then I should be doing much better. Once again, thanks for all your concern. I'm glad that most of you at least seem to care about my problem-of-the-week. Not much to worry about though, just some moping and sulking and then I should be okay. It's just a matter of time.

Ha ha! I've finally done it! I have beaten it into the abyss and I probably won't bring it out for a while! Ahem... I started writing again and I'm over my Oblivion addiction... Hopefully I'll update my Halo fanfic soon. Also, I need a place to bounce ideas off of people about my novel so I may do that here too. This is a friendly forum. QUOTE(minque @ Aug 30 2006, 02:55 PM) Howdy!......
Back on track again, after a heavy party-weekend. All went well, but unfortunately I had to go to work this week, I´d rather stayed at home.
Got to start selling stuff now....to rise money for my trip to US! It´ll be in early october I reckon, my daughter wouldn´t have me the weeks I originally planned to go......I was actually thinking of flying to New York on the 11th of september, you see there are a lot of cheap flights that day!
Are you going to be in Michigan? It'll probably be cold here. This post has been edited by Sir Radont: Sep 1 2006, 05:19 PM

Just remember this, while it may be cold in Michigan, it's freezing in Canada . Ugh, we get a long weekend holiday, yet I still have to work on Saturday... If it rains though I figure the window won't be busy. So in other words, I'm going to have a very boring seven hours of works. I expect I'll make some headway into Don Quixote, it's been going kinda slow so far. Or maybe I'll write an update.....
