I love the Metal Gear Solid series, but i think Oblivion is a bit better. I love decorating the in-game houses with all of the weapons/armor/books/trinkets you get.

I LOVE Metal Gear Solid, but I have to say that Oblivion is better, mainly because there is so much freedom in Oblivion and you don't have those long and sometimes annoying Codec conversations.

To tell you the truth, I've never played Metal Gear. So, by default, Oblivion wins!
Hooray for defaults!!!

In my opinion, Metal gear Solid wins hands down. It's so much more believable, more gritty, and more fast paced than oblivion. It gets the adrenaline pumping a lot more so in my definition of a good game its a lot better. That's why I like the 'Battlefield' series.
You really can't compare MGS to Oblivion...they're both so different. I personally love them both; I play Oblivion a lot, and I've completed all of the Metal Gear Solid games released so far.
By the way, MGS4 won't be released for XBOX360 as far as I know...
On the subject of "WUTS BETAR, OBLIVEEUN OR METAL GAER!?!?!?", I'd contend that you can't compare them by saying one is "better" than the other. It basically comes down to personal preference. And my personal preference is that I like them both to the same degree, which is a great amount.

I love the metal gear solid series, I don't compare oblivion and metal gear solid because you can't exactly be thinking of both at the same time and comapre. Metal Gear is epic in a different way. I'm just glad both series exist to be honest
