Dalrus Varus, Lokken Tavern, Chorrol
Dalrus came woke up up from her nap early in the afternoon. She had been exausted because at about one a group of nords came in ordering a ton of drinks. She walked down stairs and was greeted by a big hug, of course Ragnar.
"Enjoy your sleep?" he asked laughingly and kissing her on the head like a father might do.
"Very much so, though i could have used another three days after having to throw all those nords out" she smiled. Her hair was frizzy fom sleeping on the very soft pillows at the Lokken so she tied it up into a messy pony tail/bun. Her smooth unblemished skin was tan, unusual for it had not been sunny for a long time. She was not very average for an imperial, unusually beautiful and exotic, it was of course the dunmer pigment along with her majority imperial heritage. This made the perfect tan. Customers often enjoyed coming into the bar, men for obvious reasons, and Dalrus had gotten used to being hit on. It was almost a joke with her and Ragnar.
Ragnar had taken her in when she had no money or expirience working. She had been working for nearly a year now and the nice tavern owner had given her a room down stairs all to herself. He was the father-like figure she had never had, her father had never been good to her.
"There you go" she said handing a small bosmer his drink.
"Th..thanks miss" he said trying to keep his eyes away from her chest. She rolled her eyes and smiled to herself as she walked to the back to get some more comberry brandy. She walked past Ragnar on his way to the front with some freshly made bread.
"Oh i forgot to ask you" she said suddenly stopping on her way to the back. "Have you seen Satyana, i wanted to ask her if she was doing anything this sundas" Dalrus said to Ragnar
"Why yes she was just in this morning" he said kindly.
"If she comes in while im out training with the mages guild can you let her know i wanted to see her?" she asked him,
"Of course" ragnar said in an over enthusiastic manner
"Thanks so much" she said laughing and continuing on her way to the storage room.

"Thats impossible, there why would Serene lie to you? My grandmother knew Serene and always talked about her in a great light" she said thinking. "Brianna, though not a popular name, is possibly another person, a coincidence. Tamriel is a big place, maybe its a mistake" Dalrus was calculating the posibility of this.
"If we could get flint to come here then maybe we could ask him somthing that only, someone who would really know you, could answer" she said half unsure herself. "I bet i could convince him" she said letting her hair fall in a sexy cascade(slow motion fall).

Ian, Ian's house, Imperial City
Ian was busy getting his gear together; the call to adventure was flowing through his aging veins. Athough still young, he was nearing the age of becoming sensei and retiring to the dojo that he had been brought up so many years ago. But he was still capable of fighting and of fufilling contracts.
Ian groaned and went through the acrobatic movements that he used to relax. "Time to go," he said to himself. He donned his robes, and slung his bow. Ian strode from his home in the Talos Plaza toward the Market District. One of the guards he passed bowed his head slightly, and continued his rounds. For better or worse, the Imperial City was- had been- his home for several years, and after resting for the last week, Ian was ready for another adventure. He absently lit a hackle-lo and puffed it thoughtfully. Time to speak to an old friend.....

Satyana
Satyana noticed Flint waving at her and gave im a cheerful smile....
Maybe I could convince him as well.....
She really wanted to believe what Dalrus was telling her but she knew better.....Flint definitely had knowh her mother, he had told the truth...that´s for sure...anyway there really was no time for pondering about the past, Dalrus had been happy to see her and she felt that her friend also wanted to ask her something or tell her something...she could tell from the way Dalrus shook her beautiful hair and moved her body...
"So my dear", she said in a low voice, "You wanted to say something?"
In ger mind she was already planning the menu for the feast.....it must be something special, the Countess had been crystal clear about that...Some important guests were expected and she also wanted to pay gratitude to some of her employees....at least that was what she had told Satyana just the other day...
Satyana knew the Countess had some special "staff" whom she had the greatest confidence in, she never told who those men were but gave some faint hints that they were very special to her.
Anyway, Satyana was happy to work for the Countess who paid well and treated her fair, so if the Lady wanted to have her secrets it was ok....Satyana wouldn´t mind. Thus she was determined to protect her benefactor in every way.....she knew some really powerful magic....

QUOTE(Florodine of Hlaalu @ Nov 2 2006, 12:13 AM) Dalrus Varus, Lokken Tavern, Chorrol
"Well" she said in a distracted voice as she tried to put her hair back up. "I was wondering if you have any freetime, i mean before the festival, remember we planned to go visit Prior Turenel at Weynon Priory? I know you must be busy but he said he had something for us." she said circling Satyana in a impatient kid type manor. "It will be our only chance to get out of the city before the festival, i will be setting up the ale booth, and you will be doing countess errands."
Satyana"Oh....yes! we did , I remember.....hmmm, well why not now? I do have some free time now, before the fuzz starts!..so let´s go shall we?" Satyana stood up putting her cloak on, wating for Darus to get ready "Heey, gorgeous....you do look alright!" she smiled

Flogir, in Lokken Tavern
Flogir couldn't help but overhear many discussions about a party that was coming up fairly soon. It seemed the hostess of the event would be the Countess of Chorrol herself.
Well I picked a good time to arrive in town. I wonder if this party is public or if an invitation is required? he mused, taking a sip of his ale.
He then remembered that the correspondant he met in Bruma was from Chorrol. Maybe if he found that young Dunmer once more, he'd be able to get into the party if it wasn't public.
His mug of ale seemed the most inviting aspect for the moment though, he still had time to look around for the Dunmer before the party would start.
Heck, I might even get to speak to nobility...

Ian, meeting an old friend
The Market District was filled with citizens going about their daily lives. There were several street venders selling jewelry, food, and clothing. Ian was paused for a moment and shook his head. Nineteen years ago, the only shops were indoors. Now vendors have sprouted up, Ian thought to himself. He made his way to the Mystic Emporium. Calendil was speaking to a citizen in middle-class clothes, but when the old elf spotted Ian coming through the door, he shooed the man away. "Greetings my friend, what do you need of me?" He asked Ian grinned slightly, Calendil and his wife had been his most prized merchants in this city for years. "Yes Calendil, I do need some poisons from your lovely wife."
"Ah, yes of course." A elderly Altmer woman came down the stairs and heard her husband and Ian talking. "Hello dear friend, you may buy whatever you need." Calendil sold many enchanted weapons and armor while his wife sold potions and enchanted accesories.

Jonathan Constantine On the way to Chorrol/Chorrol/Lokken Tavern
Twang, twang-twang
Three bolts from Jonathan's crossbow arced out across the pathway towards a tree nearly fifty meters in front of him.
Thwump, thwump-thwump
The iconic sound of crossbow bolts slamming into a target resounded in the immediate of the woods. "Eh, a little off to the left it seems." Jonathan guided his horse using his thighs towards the tree, "Of course the bugger I'm shootin' at won't be obliged to hope into the bolts.." It took quite a bit of a little tugging match to wrest the bolts from the tree, but in the end Jonathan managed to best it.
During his training he failed to notice how much ground he was covering, and a short glance up revealed that of the walls of Chorrol. Chorrol reminded him of his home stead, to remember was to invoke pang of sorrow for his failing as a son. What little remained of his home lay around his neck, a small medallion of his father's personal treasures was passed from father to son during his last visit. It was simple, but elegant, a testament to the old working of an art long passed.
The cobble streets of the were lined with numerous people and from various sources, being those that lined the streets, he heard of a party that was to happen. "Huh, grand time to show up here, maybe they'll have some free brandy.. Listen girl, I'm going to leave you here for now." Jonathan patted the nose of the horse and walked her to a stable, "You be good for daddy, you hear?"
After dropping the last of his gold off into the caretakers hands, Jonathan decided to meander about and possibly mooch a drink off of a... happy.. local. He decided the Lokken Tavern would be a good start and stepped into the building, waiting for his eyes to re-adjust to the dimness.

Sodsa Hekal, At Wynon Priory
Sodsa swung the doors to the Priory open and headed up the worn stairs toward Prior Turenel's 'office'. Upon arrival Sodsa more or less dropped a burlap sack onto the desk, making Turenel jump, snapping his head up to meet Sodsa's.
"By the Divine's, you need to make some sound Hekal, i can hardly hear you coming anymore." Turenel mumbled while reaching for the sack, looking in side of it.
Sodsa let a smirk flash across his face, "You never could hear me old man, besides, I've been forced to be quiet. Its hard to catch you evening meal." Sodsa slouched into a chair, set his bow on the ground, and continued, "Well that should be the regular delivery, if there's something missing then let me know."
Turenel closed the bag and set it behind the desk, "No, no, it looks alright to me, now for your pay..." He trailed off as he turned his attention to a piece of parchment on his desk and started writing on it. "Just hand this to Ildean, the new Redguard."
Sodsa stood up and took the peice of paper from the Prior, "Thanks Prior, I'll see you again in a week or two." Sodsa slung his bow over his shoulder and turned to go back down the stairs.
ooc:Well now that i'm in i'm gonna go to bed, or see if i have stuff to do yet for HW..... (lets hope i don't) well cheers, ttyl
