Luper Alkad, dealing with clichés.

Luper continued his grin.
,,Well, aren't you lucky that I'm not your average Redguard. You see, I love Magicka." He said before knocking Sodsa of his feet with a wave of Telekinesis. Luper then marched for the door.
,,It's getting late and I want to try out the booze at the party. See you around, shortie."
,,Oh, one more thing. Your pants are on fire." He added after having 'accidentally' flicked a small fireball at the Bosmer.

(The fire isn't anything serious, just a little bit of smoke. I bet that Sodsa is quite angry now though.)

Sodsa Hekal, Tavern

Sodsa saw the smoke and patted it out. He stood up and his hand made a slight twitch toward his arrows. He stood there and waited for a minute after the Redguard left the tavern and then headed out himself. Sodsa looked around when he got out side and saw the Redguard walking down the road to the party.

"Well, I'm goin' to other way, shouldn't run into him for a while." Sodsa walked down the road to the clothier and counted his gold, "Should be enough for a good pair clothes and maybe a cloak if I'm lucky."

Stepping into the shop, Sodsa walked up to the man behind the counter, "Uh yeah, I'd like to get something a bit more good looking then this." Sodsa signaled to his present ones.

The man behind the counter grimaced and turned to the wall behind him, "So do you want some thing specially tailored or decorative?"

It was Sodsa's turn to grimace, "No, just a good set of clothes will be fine, besides i doubt i have enough money for anything else."

"Suit yourself, changing room's in back, but you'll never get yourself a girl tonight with those clothes."

Sodsa shrugged, "There are things more important than clothes ya know, like staying alive." Sodsa took a mound into the back, leaving the man standing there looking over his expensive silks.

A few minutes later Sodsa came out with a shirt and pants, "This will be good, How much?"

The man looked over the clothes and then looked squarely at Sodsa, "That will be 50 septims."

"What!? 50 septems!? if anything i'd give you 40 for this, and thats generous!"

"Sorry ser, but the price is 50, take it or leave it."

Sodsa sighed and grabbed a cloak from beside the door, make it 55 and throw in the cloak."

The retailer shrugged and nodded as Sodsa threw the coins across the counter. "thank you for your generosity ser."

"Yeah whatever" Sodsa went back in to the back room and changed, tossing his old clothes in his pack. "well now time to join the party." Sodsa headed out the door towards the town square.

Dalrus, Chorrol

Dalrus rolled her eyes when the man sidestepped her attack and gloated. She was merely trying to warn him, and hopefully hit him, though it was not a big deal. With her great supply of magic she needn't worry. She was very comforted to see Satyana standing near, her healing power was very useful and rarely did Dalrus go someplace with out her. She fired off another blast of electricity at the attacker.

The Silhouette, Near lake Canulus

The Silhouette rode through the dense forests of middle-eastern cyrodiil. His horse's hooves were the only noise that could be heard. He came upon a small encampment filled with bandits who had just returned from a raid. Suddenly before he was within one hundred feet of him they were drawn towards him by his power. Those with wicked intentions were naturally drawn to the Silhouette and the rest of the Möldåirê.
"Ccomme to mee!" he said in his whispering voice(keep in mind it sounds like a whisper but can still be loud).

The bandits followed him, they had control of themselves, however, they seemed to have utmost loyalty to him. One bandit, however, was not like the others, Lithnoa, a high elf, did not have a completely wicked heart, he suddenly grabbed a dagger and charged at the Silhouette.

"Fool," the Silhouette said angrily. The man stabbed towards him, however, he was met with the huge morning star of the Silhouette. Lithnoa's entire body was crushed under the huge weight of the mace. The small group of eight bandits follwed the Silhouette as he rode through the forest. They went up into the mountains and there he left them in a large cave, filled with suplies for thousands. Another Möldåirê was coming up into the cave with around one hundred goblins following him.

Flogir, starting to feel like he's getting into something over his head...

Flogir's eyes darted to the Dark Brotherhood assassin on top of the castle walls. He found it odd that an assassin would purposefully draw attention to himself. Evidently, they were up to something, or very stupid.

Is he aiding this attacker or something? Seems like something the Brotherhood would do... he thought as he returned his attention to the Dunmer that intiated the attack.

To his horror, there now stood several look alikes of the Dunmer, each as menancing as the original, whichever that was.

"Now I REALLY wished I had Iceshard... and my armour," Flogir muttered as his eyes narrowed. He prepared his knife, knowing quite well that he didn't stand much of a chance with the weapon he possessed. Still, there was no way he could escape, so like the soldier he was, he planned to stay and fight until death or victory befell him.

Ian

He bristled, that's a new trick; wonder where he learned THAT. Karn had used some sort of ninja skill to create copies of himself, and they didn't seem like simple illusion, they looked solid. I don't think the watch can break fight this up. One Karn can kill five guards, so seven could kill....... two entire garrisons!!! This is going to get ugly.....

Jonathan Constantine

"Well friend, not sure how good you are with two weapons but I suppose its better then nothing.." Jonathan pulled out his dirk and handed it to the Nord, "It's embued pinch of ice magicka, should sting a bit" His smile was harsh, but he hoped it would help the man defend himself. Jonathan never thought himself a hero, especially with his.. crooked ways, but never ment to see anyone harmed.

He looked up towards.. One of the assailents, "So which one of you bastards am I going to kill first?" He swung his back sword in a horizontal motion on each side of his body, and then reverted to holding it with a dual grip.

Ian

Ian glanced at the Dunmer. "My 'friend' here, is intent on hurting a lot of people for his amusement......" Then after a moment ian felt the need to adress his suspisions. "So, assassin boy, you want to be a hero?" Karn evaluated all of them with cold eyes...... "Be ready for anything." Then, in a quieter voice. "Why didn't I bring my bow?"

Suddenly someone shouted from the castle walls, Ian glanced upward, as did everyone else (Karn included).

Rann

"Never wanted to be a hero. Too impractical. But I don't mind killing a menace or two." he said with a grin.

He took his bow and quiver off of his shoulder and handed them to Ian. "I had damn well better get these back." he warned. "Now what did you have in mind?"

Flogir

Flogir accepted the dirk given to him. The weight of it in his hands felt good, and more importantly, functional.

"Thanks. I was always a sucker for the ice embued weapons. Always thought it fitting of my heritage," he said dryly, "I'll make sure to get this back to you after this is over."

His training in Kvatch had been extensive enough that he had learnt how to fight with multiple weapons. With the dirk and his knife, he felt more confident in surviving this ordeal now. Despite the fact that they were facing several versions of one person. He noticed that the Imperial was taken aback by this trick.

"Is there any tips you might wanna tell us before we start fighting this guy?" Flogir asked the Imperial, anxious to get this over with, "I at least want to have one drink tonight."

Ian

Realizing that the others were looking to him for advise, Ian racked his memory for all the times he'd fought Karn in the past. Karn is fast, but only in bursts, and those tend to tire him over time. So keep him moving until he tire outs, and the more of these copies we take out the less we have to work. I think a little teamwork would be the best tactic in this fight not fighting one on one. Ian advised telepathically. Then he turned to the Dunmer beside him and held out his hand. "Want to work together?" He asked, he could guess that the boy was a loner, but he could probably use the experience in group combat..... That and karn seemed to be getting impatient.

Rann

"It's completely unnecessary, but sure." he answered, not taking the time to shake the man's hand. "You've apparently fought him before, so lead on."

He cursed the fact that someone could put messages into his head. Not fun. There had to be a way to put a stop to that.

Flogir

Paying heed to the Imperial's advice, Flogir turned to the Breton.

"Well, since those two are pairing up, it seems best for us to pair up. Besides, you seem to be more enjoyable company than those two wet blankets," Flogir said, a wry smile appearing across his face.

The smile was replaced by a grim expression rather quickly though. It was time to get to business.

Jonathan Constantine

"Yes, quite. Shall we?" Jonathan answered, and then began to charge forward. He was never quite the up and front fighter, but he prided himself in the bit of sword work he possessed.

He reached about three arm lengths from one of the copies...

(What are these things using?)

Flint Ironwood, the castle wall.

Flint drew attention, as he'd hoped. Unfortunately, the single man suddenly created copies of himself somehow.
,,I'll be damned if I let anyone get killed here." He muttered to himself and swung the Storm once. A bolt of Telekinesis shot towards one of the clones.

(Note: The Storm's fires bolts that throw people off their feet, nothing more. The Blade though, fires Telekinetic blades that can actually cut through and kill stuff.)

Luper Alkad, arriving.

Luper stepped through the gates and took in the scene. He then shrugged and casually walked over to a barrel where he tapped himself a cup of brandy. With the cup in hand, he stood on the sidelines, watching the show.
,,Now this is quality entertainment! In one corner, we have the colourful band of partygoers. In the other, we have one big guy with his many identical twin brothers. Place your bets now!" He joked.

Satyana

Satyana "heard" Rann cursing the fact that he had telepathic ability, and she smiled, not a happy smile though. She also had this ability and she was sure it was from her mother´s bloodline, so there was another proof Rann was her brother. She understood he didn´t like that whole thing so she decided to help out. Serene had taught her how to "control the mind" of oneself and shut off the ability to receive unwanted messages, ther was some kind of filtering-technique as well.....and she knew it well!

Rann, if you want to be able to control your mind, and control the ability of others putting unwanted messages into it, come see me, I know how you can do it and I also know some other things you might find ....interesting!

Her head ached, she focused on getting through to him.....

Dalrus, Chorrol

Dalrus looked at the group of fighters who suddenly started attacking the clones. She conjured up a deadroth and then charged into the fight with electricity shooting at three of the clones. Her hair was wild and blew with the electricity.

The Silhouette, Eastern Cyrodiil

A small village was nestled in the heart of a small river valley, north east of Leyawiin.

"I've heard of strange happenings in the mountains by morrowind Tee-Nien" said a plump imperial man to his argonian friend. "Folks say there are riders, all black, whispering things in the forest, no one has seen one up close, though some have disappeared mysteriously"he said in a worried voice

"I thiink somethiing is brewwing, somethiing bad my friend" the argonian said after laying his pitchfork in a shed.

"I don't like these stories, scare me to death, thats what they do" he said shaking his head.

The Silhouette called out in a whispering voice that carried with the wind. It called those of wicked hearts to come.

Karn, Original

The flirting man rushed forward first, the girl summoned deadra to fight for them, and a Redguard swigged a mug of ale and made snide comments. Don't worry, when I kill these ' colorful partygoers' I'll kill you. Before any of the clones could engage the enemy, however, something blasted several off their feet, but Karn slid only a short distance.
A lightning bolt struck some of the clones while they were off-balance, however it did only minor damage. Still the cheap shot had successfully earned his fury. Attack! Leave no one alive, I'll take the one on the wall Karn shouted telepathically to his copies. He leaped onto the battlements and faced the D. Brotherhood assassin. "Time to die," he whispered to the Breton.

OCC: the copies weild the same skills and weapos that Karn does, so they have Dreadric shortswords and bound shurikan......

-----

Ian

The six copies lunged forward, but Karn jumped toward the battlements. Ian payed the Dunmer's- Rann's- discomfort for telepathy no heed. We'll use a flanking stratagy for now, until he gets tired. But save your energy, and keep him dodging. He braced himself for the oncoming attack, as the shadow Karns closed in......

Flogir

Flogir followed quickly behind the Imperial who had given him the dirk. He noticed that the clones were swept off their feet by a telepathic attack, unfortunately he didn't see the origin of the attack.

He stayed close to the Imperial as he engaged the nearest clone, ready to attack an exposed back when the chance arrived. It was the best thing he thought he'd be able to do, given the length of the blades he was using.

However the clone managed to parry his blows. They circled around a bit, each trading a jab, for the clone, a slash for Jonathan, but not doing much good.
His eyes, however, stayed ever apperent of the Nord he had grouped with, "So my frie--" He grunted as he parried the short sword off to the side, "--nd.. By what should I call you?" He took a moment to slash at the clones mid-section, missing, but causing it to wobble off balance. His following strike was solidly blocked however.. "Cunning little buggers these are.." He thought and resumed his deadly dance.

Sodsa Hekal, Close to the fun

Sodsa stepped into the square and saw the ruckus, "Damn, well, there goes the party." Sodsa scanned to area for anyone he knew that was in immediate danger (he looks after his friends biggrin.gif) and saw the redguard from the tavern drinking away while everyone else fought. As much as Sodsa wanted to talk to some extent, he knew that unless he helped there would be no party if this didn't end soon, even though the chances of a party now were slim as they were. Sodsa took the bow off of his shoulder and set an arrow, letting it loose into the back of one of the people that looked strangely like the others.

ooc:I guess i got the wrong impression, i thought the party was in the castle. And as you can see, he is assuming who to attack biggrin.gif the copies look a bit more suspicious then the party goers. So how much of a beating can these guys take before dieing?

OCC: well,........ they can take more than most can (but a few accurate shots 'fatalities' would destroy them). Of course Karn doesn't have dying very high on list of things to do....... **jots down a list of Karn's favorite things to do**

Now that I think of it, i probably should have put that in the planning thread, oh well.

Flogir

Flogir circled around the two combatants, waiting for his moment to strike. When he heard the Imperial's question, he couldn't supress a grim smirk.

"The name is Flogir. But I suggest you try to focus on the task at hand," Flogir said and decided to lunge in a quick strike with the dirk. The dirk strike was a glancing blow but the magicka imbued within it enhanced the damage done. It was enough to draw the clone's attention towards him. At least momentarily.

Flogir went back into a defensive position that would allow him to move more freely. "C'mon, you s'wit!" he taunted the clone.
