QUOTE(ShogunSniper @ Dec 7 2006, 03:01 PM) Veric
"Yes I believe it is Ocato," Veric answered, acting as if he wasn't sure who the corpse on the ground belonged to. Considering the person talking to him knew Sadril well enough to know he was a vampire and the fact that Sadril was ordered to follow the son and daughter of Brianna, Veric concluded that this man next to him could very well be Brianna's son. He still played his cards well, replying with a, "Vampire? That Dunmer over there is a vampire?"
Rann "Look at the eyes." he replied, as if he didn't already know Sadril. He 'heard' his sister's warning, but dismissed it as paranoia. Or possibly another grab for attention. "Either his eyes are unnaturally pale, which is unlikely, or he's a vampire." he concluded, thinking about how ironic it was that he was talking about someone else's eye color. Just then, Dalrus approached, talking about the crumbling structure of the empire. "Just as well." he said. "The empire, for all its grand appearances was in reality an ugly thing. Not that I agree with these actions." Being raised by Rahvin and trained by Sel gave him a distaste for the empire. Both of their lives had been ruined by government officials and policies, and he was sure that many more had as well. This post has been edited by Dantrag: Dec 8 2006, 04:16 AM

QUOTE(Florodine of Hlaalu @ Dec 7 2006, 08:06 PM) Eurod, Bruma
"Whoa" he said as he got knocked into. He then noticed that the person had stolen his bag, which did have amount of coin, though only a little bit. He would get the man when he saw him, though he did not bother chasing after him, after all, the guards saw what happened and would arrest him later. Obviously this was not good policework, however, if someone was driven to steal, then stealing from him was fine, as long as it did not ruin him.
Galadile Carvain ran over to Eurod and hugged him. "Galadile!" he said hugging her. He kissed her tenderly and the couple walked into Jerall view.
Tritus Julius, Bruma"Joy..." After taking the moneybag for Eurod, It all went down hill from there...Aparently he wasn't sneaky enough in his pocketing, as almost as soon as he took the money, he was Ordered by a guard to surrender his stolen goods. "You have No Idea..." Tritus said, as he took off down a back alley. Almost all of my stuff is stolen...

Jonathan Constantine
As much as Jonathan didn't like the state, he did realize the implications of its fall.
"Anarchists.." He muttered as he approached the dead chancellor's body. Blood filled the area around it and personnel were already cleaning up the situation. "Damn't"
He turned to Rann with a wild fire in his eyes, "Listen, I don't care if you like the empire or not, but represents one force against another. Hell, now we are heading into a bastion of the unknown without the backings of anyone but the Countess, and gods bless her, but Chorrol isn't exactly a war machine!"
"We need to move quickly, I suggest we stop by my father's horse ranch and collect some faster horses for the journey. It's only a little north east of the city."
Jonathan didn't wait for them to respond, but simply left out the building.

Flint Ironwood, clothing trouble.
,,No, I am not involved with the Dark Brotherhood! I did not come here to kill the old man!" Flint repeated once again to the Imperial Guards. Right now, he cursed the reputation his cloak gave him. ,,No, I won't go to jail! In fact, I won't go anywhere with you!"
Flint caught what Jonathan had said. ,,I'll see you there." He called out before leaping upwards and rapidly scurrying to the ceiling with the help of a curtain. From there, it was a simple matter of blowing out a single window and escaping before any of the guards got any further stupid ideas.
Green-Root, preparing to leave for the Silhouette.
The Argonian bared his teeth. His job here was done. He walked up to the captain and gave a simple order. ,,The Empire has fallen. Move upriver and plunder everything you see." After those words, the Argonian walked towards the coast. Waves flew up higher than he'd ever seen before. He shrugged, swimming at a depth of five metres was always simple, no matter how stormy it was at the surface.

Flogir
Flogir flopped tiredly to the floor. Everything secure with his life had now been shattered with the death of the only mer who had kept the Empire together as well as they could have done. Having lived his entire life in Cyrodiil, he couldn't imagine life without the Empire. During the Oblivion Crisis, he not only fought for himself, and his town, but for the perserverance of the Empire. Now, that third option was basically gone, and Flogir didn't think it was a good thing.
"This isn't good at all..." he said softly.
Voltar
Voltar simply kept to his act of looking surprized, still keeping a mental note on all the people in the room. He didn't have to worry about being recognized at least, unless Sadril decided to open his mouth about the topic. He had a nasty surprize for the vampire should their cover be blown by him...

Ian
Marching over to the Chancellor's corpse, Ian was struck by a rare emotion, dispair. He struggled with his disipline and stuffed his sorrow deep within himself. And he hung his head, May Talos guide your soil to Aetherius, and may thy spirit rest in peace...... His words mirrored that of Buarus on the day of the Emporer's death, nineteen years ago.
Taking a deep breathe, Ian spun on his heel and began to approach the two Altmer standing in the doorway with Rann.
Issac
Noticing the Nord girl's obvious frustration, Issac walked towards her, Karn....... this act certainly heralds something much worse to come to pass...... "Is there a problem?" A small thought came through his mind, she is rather comely.........

Satyana, still angryShe noticed Issac approaching and hurried to get her face composed again. She couldnīt reveal her ability to get into other peopleīs minds, that would be fatal "Oh...well itīs really nothing, just that I donīt fancy this much violence" She gave Issac her most gorgeous smile which really made her quite beautiful, although she was not aware of it!

Issac
He nodded at Satyana's answer, and did his best to keep a straight face. "Unfortunately, violence is as much a part of life as birth and death....." He was so grateful that Ian hads taught him how to disguise the nuianses in expression and body-language, it certaily was use full in situations like this.
"But that doesn't exactly make it easy to deal with." He added. "But I'm a little comfortable with it, but Chancellor Ocato was a wise man, and he had a lot of this to deal with without an Empiorer. I will miss him, but he will join our ansestors in Aetherious."
OCC: Issac isn't so much a telepath as a physically perceptive young man. He isn't trained to block his thoughts, but their still more difficult to read then some people.

Sodsa Hekal - Stepping into the room with the dead body
Sodsa hear somewhat familiar voices coming from a room and stepped in, nodding to the guards. Upon sight of the body Sodsa raised an eyebrow and in a semi-sarcastic tone, "Well if that isn't pretty. So, who is, i mean was, he?"
Sodsa brought his hand up and scratched his ear and neck, and sent a short silent message to the Divines. when finished he looked at the group's faces.
Well who ever he was, he was probably either important or somethin'
ooc: I'm sorry but i'm lost location-wise, I know that Octo (or whatever his name is) was just killed and that everyone is staring at the body (please correct me if i'm wrong) but where in the Imperial city are we all know? Yeah Sodsa will know the name but he probably hasn't ever seen the guy

Dalrus, Chancellor chamber
Dalrus walked around handing potions out to any who were still alive. She brushed her hair out of her eyes, and wondered how this could have happened. She looked walked over to Satyana and gave a kind smile to her, it was also a smile of sorrow.
"War is not brewing no, she said finally replying to Veric. Though I'm afraid there may be many grabs for power," she said to the man before her. "I think we should get out of here and let the investigators handle the situation," she said gesturing towards the door as many guards came in. "Wait, the book? Where is the book that we need?" she said looking at the other group members. The doors of the palace were opened and an ominous wind seemed to be blowing. Dalrus's hair blew into her face and she tied it into a messy bun. "I don't suppose anyone remembered to grab that book."
Eurod, Bruma
"Oh? A surprise? I like the sound of that," he said hugging her again as she took his hand and lead him off. The brisk wind of the north blew through town, though he did not notice it as it was that way almost everyday. Gruna-gra-jalos walked by and waved to the couple. The proprieter of the Jerral View inn also waved as he sweeped the front step of his tavern.

Sodsa Hekal, The Imperial Palace
Sodsa overheard Issac's statement to Dalrus and his eyes widened, "This is the Chancellor? Geeze." Sodas's smile faded from his face and went over to the wall to lean upon it.
So this is, was, the guy in charge, hmph, never did anything for me
ooc: Garg.... he isn't happy but he isn't exactly sad.... i can't think of a word for the look on his face..

Sadril
Sadril slipped outside under the noses of any suspecting guards. He had lost his black cloak, revealing only dark, time-worn, cheap clothing. His sword he still unconciously held in his hands. He looked down at the katana admiring its beauty as he had done for around two centuries now.
He followed the rose stem engraved in it with his finger, from hilt to tip in a trance-like state, then held it strraight out in front of him, angling it so he could reflect the moon in the crimson tint of the blade. It had served him well, the perfect sword for stealth and the occasional duel. However extended combat took its toll on the edge.
He put the sword away back in its sheath, and pulled out the folded piece of parchment that had been slipped in his boot. It said simply: Seek the third child. He crumpled it and tossed it on the street outside of the scene of the assassination, assuming the letters had dissolved from the parchment as Veric's little 'notes' always had. This one however, did not. As if Veric wanted somebody else to read it he purposefully had the note written in traditional ink, but why would he want that?
Sadril stalked into the night, last seen heading northwest. He was going on another lead, both to seek out the 'third child' and to meet up with an old acquaintance. To Chorrol.

VericVeric decided to take the initiative and make a little gamble. "I agree completely," he paused and looked around. Noting he was in the Imperial Palace, he gestured towards the exit and made his way outside with Rann before continuing quietly, "Have you ever considered taking a stand against the empire? Several friends of mine have contemplated attempting to start a revolution and make some changes in the way things are governed. Now would be an excellent time to put things into action with this recent... disaster." Veric's acting was genuine, and he played the part he hoped Rann would be able to relate to; a young mer with hopes of being something important. The leader of a rebellion, for example.
