Issac
Ian, a vampire? What's the world coming to? Normally someone would look for a scrap of the old person rather than what they were now. Well, there was plenty of Ian in this person; the vampire was also present.
It was shown in the new ways he moved; there was a hunger, but more than that was weariness partnered by great restlessness. It was like reuniting with an old friend after years of separation, but rather than years it had been days. And Ian was, is, my father......
Issac mirrored Ian when he looked away, neither was willing to risk breaking the ice that had suddenly formed. It's odd, I'm not angry at him; instead there's only surprise..... Few people would discribe personal betrayl like that. Is this even that?
Ian
The silence was hard to take, but the difficulty was an emotional illusion. The turmoil was real, but the influence it had on your mind was just a symptom. Issac appeared no more willing to break it than he was, so there was very little to do as the awkward silence stretched on.
The Sage, Hero Hill
As the troupe approached the area called Hero Hill, the mountains carried the battle cries of ogres, trolls, and plenty of other telltale signs of activity. The battlemages fanned out, slowly moving from cover to cover. Though it was pragmatic, the sage couldn't help but find them somewhat silly trying to sneak about in heavy armor.
Many summoned bound armor to supplement their ebony pieces, most were carrying battle axes and long swords. She simply wore her red-silk robes and carried no weapons, for she could fight hand-to-hand. The group made their way through a cluster of boulders and hung back for the moment.
Turning to the leader she gave a "wait here" gesture, and cast invisibility before moving toward a cave on the opposite side of the battle.....

Voltar
Voltar thought about the question. "I suppose it would work on people. I have yet to test that theory though. In fact, I should test it out soon. Perhaps I can leave a mark, say over a cliff, and cast recall over an enemy. Though I can see a problem with that spell should the intended target decides to counter with a reflect spell," Voltar mused aloud, "Still, I'd think it would be effective."
With that, he followed Veric's cue and teleported himself to Karn's last known location. What he heard was the commotion of battle.
"Looks like we can have some fun here,Veric," Voltar said slyly.
Flogir
Flogir felt a little nauseous from the trip up out of the cave, but he got over it quickly. He turned to Flint. "I'll take care of the goblins and such, you help out the others with that blurry character."
Flogir skidding down the side of the mountain into a through of unsuspecting goblins, taking off the head of one and running through another with Iceshard before the mass knew what was going on. It wasn't long until frozen corpses of goblins surrounded him.
"Get going Flint! I'll be all right here!" he shouted.

Flint Ironwood, into the fight.
Flint nodded and leaped for the sky, releasing several blades of air at the blurs. He had no idea which of the blurs was the real one but as long as they all went down, he didn't care.
Green-Root, relaxing. (This is probably the first time that a character is eating at his leasure while a big battle rages just outside. Or at least the first time while being aware of the battle.)
Green-Root shrugged and cut the rat into little pieces. ,,Rat meat is healthy for you. Gives you strong muscles. It's quite tasty as well. Oh well, more for me I guess." He snickered and shoved the first lump of flesh into his mouth, licking the sauce off his lips. The only disturbance to his pleasure was the burning wound on his snout and the sound of battle outside.

"Uh, yeah. I'd know that plant," Soldion answered. He simply stood for a moment before he realized that he was probably expected to gather some.
"Ah, okay. I'll find a few real fast," he added before turning and walking hastily toward the treeline.
Rann "I'll come with you." he said, not wanting to sit in on the awkwardness between Ian and Issac. "So," he said once he caught up to the young boy. "What is it we're looking for?"

SoldinSoldin heard Rann follow after him and wasn't surprised that he asked what they were looking for. "Medium sized mushrooms, violetish in color at the base of trees; not on the trees though." he replied matter-of-factly. He was glad he would be off some use to these people he met. The excitement he felt was a welcome change of pace from his daily routine, though he wouldn't permanently trade his life of solitude for anything. Living in the forest allowed him to know the vegetation well. Though he didn't know all of the uses of the plants around him, Soldin knew how to recognize them quite well. OOC: yeah i bs'd the mushroom's description, just go with it

They walked a while longer, in an expanding circle around the clearing rather than directly away from it until, finally, a cluster of three Violet Coprinus were found. Soldin was unsure who spotted them first, he or Rann, but he opted to gather them. While carefully taking the mushrooms Soldin asked, "What is your relation to Satyana?"

The Sage, Hero Hill
The battle was getting quite interesting; all the same, she returned to the battlemages who were ready for action.
As one of the stood up and began to unsheath his sword, she waved her hand through the air empathetically. The man paused and reluctantly left his sword alone. "Find high positions around this area; wait for a ball of light to attack anything."
She left them as they split up tp find better cover. There were two curious presences, magical prescences, away from the fighting.
Striding confidently around a boulder, she spotted the two she was looking for. An altmer, and a breton, what are they doing here? Perhaps for the same reasons as I.
OCC: veric is in his breton form still, right?

Soldin gave Rann a confused look, obviously not understanding what a 'half-twin sister' was. He shrugged it off though, and replied, "Yeah it should be enough. Let's head back."
Soldin turned toward the direction of the clearing, which he was certain of through his developed sense of direction, and began walking at a brisk pace. He seemed to grasp the urgency of the situation quite well.
RannRann walked alongside Soldin, and they presented the mushrooms to Serene, who proceeded to formulate one of her concoctions. Rann watched as the potion was created, and aided Serene in getting Satyana to drink it while unconscious. After they had succeeded, Rann looked around in disapproval. "Why would we stay in a clearing?" he asked, making the very idea seem ridiculous. "We should go look for some shelter before anyone decides to come back for her." OOC: took some minor liberties with Serene due to minque's absence. We can chill in a cave or something until she revives Satyana, I guess. Maybe we can come up with something interesting to do.

Serene, performing a healing-procedure
Serene was delighted, the bouys had come up with exactly the kind of "anti-dote-mushroom" she asked for. She had come to really appreciate and like Soldin, he still was a mystery to her, but his actions had most certainly saved Satyana´s life. Besides he seemed like a very sweet boy! She had noticed Rann´s concern about his sister and that was good.....
Serene mixed the three violet coprinus-mushrooms in the water to a viscous liquid, after tasting it herself she shrugged
Tastes awful, but it has the proper strenght, I think
She gently poured some of in Satyana´s mouth and made her swallow it, the girl made a grimace but hadn´t the strength to spit it out so down it went. Serene continued this task until the bowl was empty. By ten Satyana was almost asleep again, but that was the purpose, she now had to sllep at least a couple of hours to let the mushrooms work inside her to get the poison out of her system.
Satyana, three hours later
She moved her head, not really awake, but at least it was possible to move some parts without feeling nauseous or having pain...but she was sooo sleepy.....
"Issac....Rann?..Where are you?" It was just a whisper, barely heard.....

Merethicus
Merethicus sits down and leans to a rock, placing his helm, shield, and sword next to him.
"You know, Root...this is prolably the first time two people sat down and relaxed by a fire while being aware of battle raging just nearby."
Merethicus glanced at his nails. Oh, yes. Once I get out of here and the danger to existance as we know it is less, I definitely need a manicure.
"So, 'Root... Have you ever considered a promising career in getting out of here and never returning to this hellhole?"
