Issac

Eventually Issac just decidewd to sit down and rest. He couldn't find anyway to respond to the recent turn of events, Ian's transformation was certainly one of the worst. Issac lost track of time, and didn't stir until he heard Satyana.

She's probably not even completely conscious..... He kneeled beside her and took her hand, a living touch was often as good for someone as any potion. "Satyana, I'm here. And so are Rann and Serene." Issac whispered to here, not expecting a responce

Satyana

She could feel it....the presence of Issac, his concern and devotion.....she smiled, not really aware of herself but she felt pretty good....not in the sense of health, but the feeling of Issac being near....was doing so good

"Issac!" Satyana smiled......

Issac, tending to Satyana

To his surprise, Satyana was able to reply. Issac returned her smile, "'Tyana, are you alright? We were all worried about you."
He placed his hand softly on her forehead, attempting to donate some of his magical strength to Satyana. Issac didn't bring up Ian's "condition" and tried to hide the errant thought. More stress is the last thing 'Tyana needs right now.....

Satyana, feeling a lot better, Issac being around

"Issac?, oh Issac....is it really you? Kiss me..please!" Satyana felt good..or at least better than she did just a couple of hours ago. No pain..no nausea...and Issac sitting beside her...What could be better? She knew Serene was there..and Rann!....Oh Rann....she always kept on being worried about him...her brother..her only brother!

Satyana stretched her arms towards Issac....since he was here..everything would be ok....

Issac

Once again conflicting emotions enveloped him. Issac wanted to comfort Satyana, but he knew that right now she needed to rest and save her strength. Not now, she hasn't completely recovered yet....

Cautously, but firmly he layed her arms down again. "Satyana, right now you have to rest. We need to be ready to get away from here as soon as possible...." Issac paused, then kissed her hand softly, "please, rest... this.... this just isn't the time."

Satyana

She looked at Issac..knowing he was right, but her entire body was aching for him..wanting to feel himclose ..but there would be chances later on..she hoped

"I´m ok" she whispered, "I´ll follow..I´m ready to go with you..wherever you say"

Satyana sat up....she was prepared..she was stronger than anyone could imagine.....

"Let´s get going" she said, "I´m ready to follow"

Serene

She smiled while looking at Satyana...the girl was a tough one...she was of herf heritage that´s for sure

"Ok sweetie....we´ll be off in a minute"

"Boys....support her will you?" Serene said looking at Issac, Soldin and Rann "Let´s move outta here!"

Issac, very relieved

His grin returned and Issac reached for Satyana's hand to help her stand up. "Thank you, I have my own trouble...... Issac admitted to her, for he too yearned for her. "But perhap that will help us live through all this." He joked, humer helped deal with trama and hardship. Just like a loved one......

Ian, loner as always

As he watched Issac and Satyana, Ian sighed, and strode past Serene. "I'll remain at a reasonable distance, but out of sight." Ian whispered, "It would be best for the young members."

Satyana

She held Issac´s hand, not wanting to let go..if she held his hand, nothing bad could happen to her..or Rann..She smiled and looked him right into his eyes....a promising look it was....promises of the future..

"Ok...let´s go"

Serene

She looked at Ian....she was not afraid of vampires....those few she´d met had turned oiut to be rather nice..and this one was surely no exception....though she could understand the resent from the younger ones

"Ian....it´s ok, I´ll go with you, the boys will take care of Tyana....I..I kinda feel like going with you....."

Serene couldn´t explain why she had kinda taken a liking tyo Ian....maybe she saw through his soul....saw what man he really was...and she liked what she saw!

Ian

Serene's reply caused him to pause and look back, as he thought he'd misunderstood her. Then he felt uncomfortable, not quite certain of Serene's motivations, but he hid the telltales in a frosty mist of non-emotion.

Ian muttered, "if that is what you desire." He wished he'd used a more appropriate choice of words. The vampire silently strode toward the treecover, not daring to risk another slip-up in words. In his mind something squirmed.

Issac

Satyana's gaze affected him, a warmth spread through his body. His heart softened, and he couldn't speak. Issac managed to divert his attention after an eternity. "Come on Rann, let's get going." It was a pitiful distraction, but though he still felt a warmth, he was able to deal with it.

Green-Root, devouring a rat.

,,Hmmm, it's better than being a slave on a plantage of those rascist Dunmer in the east. Still, it lacks some creature comforts and goblins cause a racket every night which ruins my sleep. So I was thinking of heading west, to some island I've heard about. Stros M'Kai or something." The Argonian replied, chewing a mouthfull of rat at the same time. To any humanoid being, it was a disgusting sight. Especially High Elves hated it. That's why he did it actually. To annoy the pointy eared people.

With a quarter of the rat gone, Green-Root grabbed a jug of Mazte and threw back a large amount of the liquid. Wiping off his wet snout with one hand, he presented the jug with the other.
,,I know that you're not hungry. Still, care for a drink?" He asked Merethicus and forced a wide grin on his face, an expression which revealed the two rows of countless sharp teeth.
,,As for the battle. I doubt that anyone will come and interupt. So as far as I'm concerned, I can relax as much as I want. I'm telling you though, I'm leaving here as soon as it calms down. The Sil has been out of our sight for too long. I've got the feeling that the next meeting will end up nasty. I prefer to avoid it."

Serene

"I hope you´re comfortable going with me" Serene whispered to Ian, "I know you´re the father of Issac, and you are a good man..lycanthropy is no fault of yours, I do not feel resentment towards you...for me ypou´re a man..nothing but a man but with weird feeding-habits...now let me take care of that for you....don´t worry!"

Serene put her hand gently on Ian´s shoulder, to show him she considered him as any man

Satyana, with Issac

She was ready to go, and eager as well. She felt strong abnd confident, yet a bit weary about the fact that someone wanted her dead..and she had no idea why....

"Soldin? Are you coming with us? " She hoped the wild-boy would accompany them....after all she owed him..a lot!

Rann

Rann followed the others from a short distance, feeling a bit like a fifth wheel. He turned to their newest companion, since the others were obviously preoccupied.

"So, uh, Soldin..." he said, "Where exactly did Ian pick you up?" The short distance they had already walked was exhausting Rann, and he knew the underlying reason. He took his last potion.

I need that long-boat sleep I was suposed to get. I guess Satyana's safe enough now to get it, but I don't want to slow everyone down.

Ian, with Serene

He studied Serene for several moments, then muttered. "We are what we make ourselves to be...... and what our world is as well." Ian continued, "and vampirism was my choice, I will carry its burden."

His eyes misted over as he recalled several key events that had shaped him. His upbringing in a training house, the second-hand love his father had given him without being a physical influence in his life. The deaths of his fellow apprentices, the day that he and Karn had first crossed paths, and when he'd taken Issac from the corpses of his real parents......

With a respectful nod to Serene, Ian added. "You've also survived hardship, the world wouldn't be what it is if there wasn't hardship and suffering. It would be a lesser place, without true strength and courage....... Thank you for placing trust in me, it is a rare object these days."

Karn

As he continued to watch the battle, Karn took notice of that Breton as he flew through the air. Might as well take him out now and be done with it. Conscious of his missing blade he summoned a bound blade, not as deadly, but suitable for the task none the less.

Now armed, Karn leaped from his vantage point, sailing toward the Breton from above. His invisbility died down as he made it one meter to the breton, the Dunmer aimed a flying kick to the target's chest, intending to knock him out of the air.

QUOTE(Lord Revan @ Feb 15 2007, 10:36 AM) *

The Sage,

"I don't use my name often; unless I can trust the listener's discression." She answered, like the Queen of Dawn and Dusk she enjoyed speaking riddles. If one could not figure it out then were they worth of such knowledge.

Veric

"Then do not bother me with it. Names are useless. What is it you want? What caused this explosion? Because as you suggested it has gone up in smoke," Veric answered indifferently. He felt the sage was attempting to play him; Veric didn't like to be played.

Soldin

Soldin, like Rann, also felt like a fifth--or rather sixth-- wheel. Naturally, he took kindly to Rann's attempt to make him feel welcome, or that's how Soldin saw his conversation making as anyway. "I found Satyana collapsed on the ground not seconds after Hero Hill... exploded. Then Ian just kinda appeared out of the brush." He shrugged.

The Sage, talking with Veric and Voltar

She wasn't very surprised that the instrament had been destroyed. After all few things could release so much energy and still exist afterward. The Breton appeared to be getting slightly annoyed with her questioning.

Too bad, I'm willing to wait a long time for the answers I want. She gave a thoughtful look, "do you have any knowledge of the leader of this army?" On a subtle cue she asked, "something of its power must certainly have your attention. Perhaps you want its power to be yours, or you wish to simply eliminate it as a threat?"

She was improvising, all these possibilities had only just revealed themselves. The Breton was motivated by some consuming purpose; the Altmer was harder to judge, he was simply a well of calculating indifference.
Two sailers drawn be a siren's call..... But what is the Siren's intent? The unimaginable power and influence they seek? Or a lure to a trap that could doom all of Tamriel?

Rann

"Well, that's good for us, I guess. I'd never have found those mushrooms alone." he said, not really knowing what to talk to a kid about.

"That bow you've got," he finally said, "Got a deer or two out of it yet?" he asked. It looked a bit inadequate to him, but maybe this boy had some surprises.

Veric

Changing his dispostion suddenly, Veric smiled, "You look to deeply into this. Whatever the leader around here is, I do not seek his power nor view him as a threat, I only seek fame."

Seemingly seeing into the sage's thoughts, Veric continued, "Do not think that we are being lured here to this presence. I doubt he even knows of our existence."

Soldin

Soldin grinned, "Enough deer, boar, and wolf to live off of for a few years. It's more than served it's purpose though, and it's getting quite old..."

Rann

Rann nodded in admiration, but couldn't help but think of what would happen if they encountered real danger and he was stuck with that bow. Sure it was good for deer, but what kind of damage would it do to one of Karn's clones, or the masses of monsters that were supposed to be in these mountains?

"Here," he said, taking his own bow and quivers off his shoulders, "Take this. I got it from...erm..." he stopped for a second, not wanting to reveal that he took it from one of the victims of his trade. "A traveling merchant. He said it was enchanted, but I never bothered to recharge it and figure out how. Maybe you'll get around to it sometime."

Flogir, in the midst of battle

With a horizontal slash, the orc finally collapsed to the ground, clutching at his severed throat. Flogir scanned his surroundings quickly and found that the immediate area was cleared of threats. He paused to wipe the sweat from his brow and as he looked up into the sky, he was Flint floating through it.

Maybe possessing teleknesis isn't such a bad thing... he pondered just as in the blink of his eye, a blur of motion appeared before Flint. Flogir had no time to warn the Breton, so instead he decided to bring himself closer to his companion's aid. Perhaps he would find a rock or something to throw at the airborn enemy.

Voltar, with Veric and the Sage

Voltar absent mindedly payed attention to the discussion going on between Veric and the stranger that appeared to be a mage or a sage of some sorts. At the mention of what caused the explosion of Hero Hill, Voltar's grip on the Staff of Worldly Demise tightened, but only briefly. His staff may not have the ability to blow up mountains, but its strength lied elsewhere, as it embuded the user's magic use substancially.

Voltar turned his attention more to the surroundings than anything else. His elven ears picked up the sound of battle. It seemed the direction was coming from the ruins of the Hill. Peering in the distance, Voltar thought he could see tiny specks within the sky. He quickly surmised that Karn would be one of those specks.

He leaned into Veric's ear. "I believe I've spotted our companion back nearby the Hill. I suggest we wrap this discussion up quickly. I'd also like to add that the stench of Mages Guild Magic encompasses the air; this lass is not alone."

Flint Ironwood, in the air.

Without warning, a form materialized right in front of the Breton. Flint dodged in mid-air on pure instinct. The foot that had been aimed for his chest brushed past his shoulder instead, quickening his descent. He landed on the nearest rock and cushioned the force of impact by crouching. Using the kinetic energy he'd stored in his legs, he made yet another superhuman leap into the sky, sending a blade of air at Karn for good measure.

,,Not bad, using invisibility to sneak up on me. But aerial combat is my specialty, not yours. Now get out of here while you have the chance." Flint warned. At the same time, he cursed his lack of one arm under his breath.
