Karn, plotting
"Yes, if it matters I just met some of their allies." The Dunmer shrugged, not entirly sure this would be of importance. "A Breton who enjoys using some powerful levitation and jumping spells, some sorceress woman that destintegrated all my bandit bowmen on one ocassion, a Nordic guard, likely retired until now, and a Wood Elf archer of sorts."
"Perhaps, rather than the Silhouete, they intend to regroup before confronting that vile creature. If so, we only need follow the four I mentioned, right to the others." Karn had a glint of anticipation, any possibility has even more avenues of results and consequinces....

QUOTE(Dantrag @ Feb 18 2007, 11:08 PM) Rann
"I guess. It's the best place to look for our other friends." he answered, glad that Soldin had taken the bow. He had feared that Soldin would have been too proud or stubborn to take it.
He started to feel weak again. He figured that the potions weren't going to help much longer. The first one he had taken had worked for a few hours, this one was almost finished after a few meager minutes.
Rahvin
Rahvin followed Brianna closely. He knew that they had crossed the Skyrim border some time ago, and figured that Brianna's past here contributed to her knowledge of the area.
Unfortunately, most of my time in this damned country was spent in prison.
They moved higher and higher, and the air became difficult to breathe. A few snowflakes began to fall. Rahvin knew that there would be much more if they were headed up the mountain much further.
QUOTE(Dantrag @ Feb 19 2007, 09:45 PM) QUOTE(ShogunSniper @ Feb 19 2007, 12:38 AM) Soldin
"Are you.. feeling okay?" Soldin asked Rann, "You look a bit tipsy."
Sadril
Sadril followed behind Rahvin, though at a greater distance than Rahvin followed Brianna. The cold was beginning to get to the Dunmeri vampire. The clothing he wore was not suitable to the frigid air and he had lost his cloak back in the Imperial City. As the falling snow thickened from sparce flakes to a heavier precipitation as their altitude rose, Sadril called out to his companions, "This was a bad idea, I think."
Though, of course, he didnt have a better one. He was just voicing his opinion to make sure he was still alive. The snowfall thickened more and Sadril quickened his pace as to not lose track of Rahvin. Though he found he was feeling quite weak and even as he told his legs to move faster, they only trudged at the same speed.
I'm not feeling well... I haven't fed in a while......... It's really cold. Sadril's thoughts got fewer and farther between when he finally slapped himself across the face to bring himself back to his senses. When he regained his awareness, however, he found that he had stopped walking and had finally lost sight of his companions.
"No matter, I can still follow their scent... for now," he mumbled as he walked in the direction his senses lead him.
Rann"I'm just tired," he answered as he trudged along slowly. "I missed out on some much-needed rest to say the least." RahvinRahvin kept going along behind Brianna, and after a while he noticed that Sadril was no longer visible behind them. He tapped Brianna's shoulder. "Wait here!" he shouted over the deafening wind. "I think Sadril fell behind!" He turned around and headed back down to see what happened. Serene"Rann? Goddamnit, you´re falling apart!" She searched her satchel and found another potion. Looking at it she noticed it was one of the stronger ones, Rann had to be careful when taking this one, otherwise there might be some nasty side-effects "Here! Take a sip, but you be carful, don´t take it all or you´ll...." she just shook her head Seeing that Issac had taken really good care of Satyana she felt a tiny bit releived..... BriannaShe stopped when Rahvin touched her. Of course they had to wait for Sadril...she wondered how long he could cope without feeding. She wasn´t very keen on letting him take a "bite" of her! The snow was falling thicker.....Her feet was numb and she hoped Rahvin would hurry up getting Sadril back on track.. Rahvin...the passageway through the mountain isn´t that far away..it only seems like it..Oh and for gods sake hurry up!

Ian, Porphyric Hemophilian soul sickness?
"This isn't just a large scale armed struggle anymore....." He mumbled, unaware that he was speaking. "The gathering of bandits, necromancers, beasts, and other evils that inhabit Tamriel..... what if this struggle we're fighting now is just a ruse, a ploy to soften up the resistence before the real threat appears......"
Ian felt it in his changed mind, vampirism had opened up a new sensitivity to the powers that affected Tamriel, especially the darker ones. "We're devided by strife, and we've been so for generations, and that is the enemies favorite weapon..."
"The Silhouete, Akavir, Modaire, it's all connected; somehow...." The feeling of supernatural awareness dissipated, leaving Ian exhausted, mentally sick, and unsure of what he'd just felt. He fell to his knees, feeling worse than any physical suffering he'd endured before.
This was a mental and physical sickness, did I get something just by extracting blood from Satyana?

Veric
"And then the group as a whole will undoubtedly run into the Silhouette, perhaps there we catch them all and intervene or simply watch and wait," Veric added to Karn's last statement.
"Though the situation grows more complicated by the minute. A sage leading a platoon of Mage's Guild dogs have made their presence noticed, and what of the two who just left? The Argonian and that bonemold clad fellow? Who do they fight for, Karn?"
Sadril
Sadril's self control blurred out once more and he felt himself revert to his most primal vampiric self. Normally he had more control, even when going without feeding for a while, but the cold weakened his will. His senses heightened significantly. Even over the howling wind he heard Rahvin call to Brianna and, eventually, heard the Dunmer's footsteps crunching in the snow towards him.
Sadril saw Rahvin, too. His living, flowing blood illuminating him in the vampire's eyes through the white-out. With no shadows to seek refuge in, and with no blood to calm his nerves, Sadril's predatorial instincts kicked in fully and he lunged at Rahvin. Nothing but a black blur amidst a solid white backdrop, he charged and aimed to knock Rahvin off his feet.

Rann"hamster it," he said as he popped the cork and drank slightly over half the potion. No side-effect could be worse than what he was feeling. "Excuse the language." he said apologetically to Soldin, suddenly remembering the younger presence. He didn't feel any side-effect...yet. RahvinRahvin walked back down the mountainside to find Sadril slowly but surely moving along. Until the attack. Rahvin found himself flat on the ground, fangs moving towards his neck. He barely kept them away with a well-placed kick to Sadril's chest that gave him a momentary reprieve from the shock of being assaulted with fangs. Semir Grey, Leyawiin.
Semir had been silent throughout the journey. This did not help towards lightening the mood. As the Blue Serpent continued to slice through the seas like a sacrificial knife through the throat of the sacrifice, the crew was infected with the Breton's sour silence. When the Serpent arrived at Leyawiin, having broken the speed record for ships in the proces, any who watched from the coast would have assumed he was looking at a ghost ship manned by zombies.
Semir played with one end of his moustache, looking at the ruins of the once grand city. ,,I served here. Damn those Akaviri scaled dogs." He muttered. He made a gesture with his hand and everyone dropped whatever he or she was doing. They stood at the railing, hands crossed over their heart, giving a silent salute to the city.
The first mate frowned his scarred face. ,,Do we land and look for survivors?" He asked with his grumbling voice. Semir shook his head. ,,No, it's been days since Leyawiin's destruction. Whoever is left here is either dead or safe. We're moving on. We're going straight to the central arena where we'll wait for those Akaviri. We're going to Cyrodiil. I may be on the wrong side of the law, but no one can just walk in and destroy my world. They'll pay and they'll keep paying till they run all the way back to Akavir. And then, they'll pay some more."
As the Serpent left Leyawiin behind, Semir got back behind the weel. ,,Lower the sails to a quarter. The path to Cyrodiil can be a bit treacherous. I don't want to get stuck on a shallow bank."

QUOTE(ShogunSniper @ Feb 20 2007, 05:16 AM) Sadril
Sadril slid backwards in the snow, recoiling from the kick. Though the pause was short lived as Sadril once more lunged blindly at his opponent, this time his right hand reaching menacingly for Rahvin's throat. Sadril however did not accompony his attacks with the usual arrogant dialogue he normally did. Instead they were replaced by an odd silence. Something was clearly wrong with him.
SereneOf course the young fool would take half of it! Serene went stiff with anger and worry, why couldn´t he for once listen to her? Now she had to watch him closely, due to the known side-effects of that potion....Arrrgh Rann, you damn fool, you stay close to me now, the effects will soon hit you, and you will be a crying danger to all of us! You will be hyper-active and start screaming and shouting like h***...until you drop into a sort of coma.....hrrmmmpfff...then you´ll be ok afterwards but until then......silly boy!She just hoped her message would get to him before the lunacy did.... BriannaShe waited for another while, but no sign of Rahvin.....so she decided to go back to see what had happened. The sight in front of her as she reached the spot where her two companions were made her react immediately. The sight of Rahvin flat on his back with the vampire aiming for his throat made her outrageous, she flung herself on top of the vampire to drag him off Rahvin, not scared for herself, her only concern was Rahvin....she just had to save him, she loved him too much..... If the vampire should bite her, then it was ok....she could take it, the many years in the company of Telina and her mages had taught her quite a bit...among other things, how to handle vampires! And this one didn´t seem that cocky..in fact he was quite easy to push off Rahvin.....There was obviously something wrong with him....but she couldn´t just yet figure out what... "What´s wrong with you?" she asked Sadril as she held him to the ground....totally aware of the possibility he´d just bite her throat....if he chose to.. But that wouldn´t do him no good.....no good at all

Sadril
Sadil, or whoever he had become, recognized the new threat when he was pushed over by Brianna. His judgement still clouded, Sadril lunged at her rather than Rahvin, and reached for his sword rather than using his hands.
Fortunately, the real Sadril took hold at just the right time. As his right hand drew the katana out of its sheath, his left hand reached up and stopped. He appeared to struggle with himself for a while before he fell to his knees, shoulders slouched, his head hung low staring at his trembling hands extended in front of him.
What have I done? What's wrong with me?
He remained silent, though it was hard to tell whether he was ashamed or perplexed and in thought.

Chraw Lowenthal, Bruma
Chraw sat by the desk in his small room at the inn in Bruma. A small candlelight illuminated the otherwise dark room. His equipment and traveling gear lay on the bed, including his scimitar, Soothing Wind. He stared blankly at a book he was reading, although he was really lost in his thoughts.
So much have happened... I feel my return to Bruma was needed. Perhaps even determined by fate. I should at least go and visit the Church tomorrow.
Chraw looked up from his book, some quite random piece of litterature he found lying in his room. The cover looked interesting, he thought as he saw it earlier, and he did need something to pass the time. A good book was one of those things he held close to his heart.
He sighed and closed the book, deciding that sleep would be a more efficient way of passing the time, rather than sitting in the dark, reading through an old book. He cleared his bed of the equipment, all but his scimitar, which he put under his pillow. Years of traveling and adventuring had made him wary, especially when sleeping.

BriannaShe sat motionless as Sadril fought with his demon, not scared at all which astonished her....But the fact remained, Sadril was really no threat to her..or Rahvin, there was something wrong with him and now she pitied him and wanted to help....as always She pondered.....some very faint memory kept flicker through her mind...there was another vampire..similar to this one, also behaving strange....then the memory fainted and she sighed.. "Rahvin, I..I think there´s somthing weird going on...he behaves very strange, we better dig a shelter or just try to get away from this whining wind, it can make anyone out of their minds"

Issac
When Rann cursed, he glanced backward, checking to see what was going on. Issac shook his head when he saw Rann and Serene were interacting again. "Can't they just get along and co-exist like the rest of us?" He muttured under his breath.
He'd slowed his pace slightly, but Issac came to a complete halt as Rann drank what smelled like a powerful potion. Though not privy to the telepathic exchange he could guess that it went along the lines that Rann had just overdosed himself.
"Why does it seem our worst enemies are ourselves and not the people trying to kill us?" Issac attempted to get a better grip on Satyana. At first this wasn't hard, but now you're really getting heavy....
Karn, on a mission
He scrutinized the amulet, looking at it from different angles scepticlly, the wordlessly slid it into his satchel. "I'll be on my way then," Karn said as he let his mind shift into a cool state of clarity, effectively not thinking anymore.
The ninja leapt up through the hole in the cieling back to the whirling winds of freezing cold. He was unaffected, he didn't feel the cold, or at least not as much as a normal person. Recalling the last place he'd seen the Breton, Karn strode through the snow toward the place he remembered.
