To all my fellow forumers.

Some know me, some don't. For those that these words will mean something, I am tuning out and dropping out for a while. It has to do with a combination of my writing style and obsessions in life. I can't bring myself to preplan my stories, so everything is written as I sit reading my last post, and trying to remember the most of the story, in order to keep things as consistent as possible.

As with Morrowind, I am now officialy burnt out on the game, there is no square inch of Vvardenfell, Mournhold, or Sosltheim I have not explored, no race, no class I have not tried out, and now my mind rebels against seeing the same thing on my TV every night.

I need to take it easy, perhaps just for a few weeks, in order to get things into perspective, cuz I admit, I have been neglible with my own personal life for the sake of my addictions, Gaming and writing, and I can kind of see things falling apart somewhat, like an absentee landlord cursing his dilapidated building, this shambles called my life is my fault.

So,...no Sethyas, and no side stories for the forseeable future, to those whom have supported me with their comments on a daily basis, I thank you. For my fellow writers, keep those keyboards clacking and busy. You write some of the best stuff that I have read in years, and it has been an absolute privilege to have been part of it.

Goodbye for now.

While I am saddened to hear this, I also understand and respect your choice. Writing is an obsession that can easily take over large parts of your life- and that is not necessarily a good thing, even when the writing is good.

Please visit us often and let us know how life is treating you. There will always be a shadowy corner near the fire reserved for you.

We'll try to keep the fires burning, Black Hand, and the memory of Sethyas Velas alive.

I know what you mean about burnout. I myself have removed Morrowind from my computer no less than twice, and taken months off from the game. Even now I'm just biding time until I can run Oblivion. This scrivening that we do takes it's toll--there are other things I want/need to write, and I've certainly been less diligent in those since I began writing here. I'm trying to work through it... but then, I haven't written near as much as you. Who knows how I'll feel upon reaching that point?

I hope this time away can help bring you the balance you want, and deserve.

Yes, all of us here would like to thank you for your contributions to the fan fiction here. I'm sure you've built quite a fanbase here, as a lot of us enjoy following Sethyas' adventures.

I do understand your motives for taking a break, especially if it's effecting your real life. Hopefully you'll be able to sort things out and return here in the near future. Until then, I hope you'll try to pop by every once in awile.

Good luck!

Sin to Dark, have no fear. I'm already back. And yes, I do remember you, you started posting around Chapter Two. Were you going to finish your story as well?

I imagine you're looking pace yourself some more though, yes?

Indeed. The Post-Machining came from a tempest of creativity that has since been used up.
