Green-Root, cave

Merethicus and Green-Root walked through the dark passages. Both had noticed that Karn had chosen to stay behind with the two 'mages' who had entered at the last second.
,,Good riddance. I don't thrust that assassin, even though I brought him back from the death. I don't thrust Merethicus either, but I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Good, keeps us from doing nasty things behind the other's back."

Rounding a corner, their path was obstructed by a tribe of Goblins who, for the moment, choose to merely stare at the visitors rather than attack. Green-Root leaned over towards the Bonemold-clad man's ear.
,,What do you want to do? Pick another route, try to talk our way through or smear their blood all over the walls?" He whispered, keeping a close eye on the green humanoids.

QUOTE(Dantrag @ Feb 22 2007, 11:56 PM) *

Rann

Rann stopped laughing for a second, with a look of awe and wonder on his face.

"Whoa," he said, "Whoa."

He looked around at everyone, to see if they were seeing the same thing he was. He didn't realize that they weren't.

"I can see sound."

Rahvin

Things weren't going to be that simple. They couldn't just keep walking as they were after something like that.

"Sadril, what the hell just happened?"

QUOTE(Lord Revan @ Feb 23 2007, 04:17 AM) *

Issac

He didn't speak for several moments. "Uh, Rann, as I've said before I'm not much of a healer, but I know that seeing sound is a very easy way to tell that something is wrong with you." Issac turned to Serene, "how long until he fall into that coma and becomes normal again?"

Serene

Serene shook her head....faintly smiling "He´ll get over it, he´s stronger than I thought, I´m not even sure he´ll fall into coma, hmmm I´ve tried that one once and....I did see sound as well, so don´t worry we´ll just have to be a bit cautious so he doesn´t do anything foolish out of sheer excitement."

She sighed...."Yes I behaved pretty peculiar then...."

She started singing....looking sternly at Rann.....to see his reaction to the sound...she knew it was a positive thing although he´d be utterly exhausted when..or if it wears off!

Satyana

"Rann? what do you see?" She was barely awake but the laugh of her dear brother made her a bit more alive. She wanted to try to walk on her own, she felt that it could be possible, besides she wanted to be with Rann for a while.....

Brianna

"He´s starving, Rahvin!" Brianna said dryly

It was freezing cold and she couldn´t feel her feet anymore, but at least she and Rahvin had some food, while Sadril didn´t...and that could be fatal. She was honestly considering to draw some blood from herself just to keep the poor vamp going, but wasn´t sure how Rahvin would react to that. She wouldn´t let the vamp bite her, but there were other ways.....

Anyway, if they would ever get to the passageway they had to do something. She turned her back from the others and cut a small bloodvessel in her arm, letting the blood flow into a small bottle where she had some herbs so the blood wouldn´t clot. She did this under her cloak, nobody noticed, she hoped...

Ian, going out on his own

The group continued on, but the vampire was fine with that. I fed at least three and a half hours ago, but whatever just happened took all the blood I had.... He stood up again, swaying slightly, and went of into the forest.

I'll meet up with them further along, blood is what I need right now and they aren't a possible source.... Ian picked his way through the trees slowly listening for any other creatures nearby.

OCC: so, maybe Ian will bring a bunch of "friends" when he meets up with the group again. SO what do vampires hate most (and vice versa). smile.gif

Sadril

At first, Sadril thought nothing of Brianna turning her back on them suddenly. He was filling a bit zoned out at the time and didn't care to notice. Though the overwhelming and unmistakable scent of blood brought him out of his trance.

Each person's blood, as Sadril had grown to learn, has its own distinct scent. However, he did not need to know Brianna's scent to recognize it as her's. An experienced vampire can tell a person's gender, race, even an estimate of their body size and eating habits from the scent of their blood.

Sadril cocked his head at Brianna, "Are you bleeding?"

OOC: ooh ooh i know revan! garlic and mages!

"Shhhh"she hissed, and swiftly handed him the bottle, "Here, take that, it´ll keep you going for a short while anyway, drink it while it´s still warm"

She wrapped a piece of cloth around the wound in her arm. It was ok for her to loose some blood, she always have had sort of "too much" and during her time with Telina, she used to draw blood from herself...for various reasons of which she didn´t really like to think.....

But this time a least it was for a good cause.....

I hope Rahvin didn´t notice......he´ll be angry with me....I think

Merethicus

Merethicus sneers at the Goblins, tightening his grip on his sword. "Just get out of the way, if you would. We're on a mission... and the great boss won't be pleased if he hears we came too late because of your delaying."

The best way to take care of the feeble-minded who get in your way is blatant lying and threats of violence. Always.

Flint Ironwood, with Flogir outside.

They reached Sodsa and Dalrus, running for a pack of Orcs and a whole lot of Goblins.
,,This is not my idea of a perfect day!" Flint shouted.
,,I suggest we get out of here right now! All of you can hold on to me and I'll try jumping, but please don't touch my right arm!" He added, throwing two Orcs off their feet with Telekinesis.
,,Or does anyone prefer fighting?"

Green-Root, inside the cave.

Slowly, the Goblins moved aside. Green-Root eased his grip on the spear, only a little.
,,Good, now we'll be going." He hissed and them and walked past with his awkward Argonian movements."

Note: Unless Florodine or Soulseeker gets on now, I think everyone should just take the escape route that I've presented. smile.gif

Sadril

Sadril squinted at Brianna suspiciously before snatching the bottle from her hands. Though as was his nature, Sadril did almost the exact opposite of what he was intended to do. Instead of 'shh-ing' Sadril held the bottle up in front of him for all, including Rahvin, to see and called out sarcastically, "Dearest Brianna, you shouldn't keep secrets from your lover. There is nothing to be ashamed of about drawing your blood to aid a friend. Even if he is a vampire!"

He downed the bottle quickly, though while doing so he realized for once how rude he was. Brianna had just willingly given him blood and the one thing she had not wanted him to do, he did. Sadril figured Rahvin wouldn't be upset either way, but still...

He tossed the now empty vial back to Brianna with a sincere, yet probably not redeeming, "Thanks."

Flogir

"Even though I do enjoy a good scrap, I know when I've reached my limit. And this is such an instance. Let's go!" Flogir said, taking a firm grip of Flint's tunic and fending off a goblin with his other.

Karn

After chasing the two a distance, Karn saw them meet up with the other adventurers. The hunter also heard what they intended to do, and was left with a dilema. I can't fly, the extra wieght will shorten the jumps, but given time they'll elude me!

Gripping the amulet in his hand he called, Veric, that breton intends to spirit them away with those jump spells. I can't match that with speed alone, revealing myself is unwise, but letting them slip away is not acceptable either!

Veric

Veric sneered and said to Voltar, "Our Karn is already running into problems..."

He concentrated his thoughts no Karn. You're a resourceful assassin, figure things out yourself. You're too far for me to aid you. They shouldn't be jumping far. Everyone is packed into this area pretty tight. You should be able to keep up with them for that long. That or you can rush to their aid so they don't have to fly away.

OOC: sry, couldn't come up with much that wouldn't be too intruding.

Karn

Annoyed he replied, if it came to it I imagine I could keep up with them for awhile. And I've already tried unseccesfully to kill them all, kidnapped and poisoned one of them only to lose that hostage to some heroicly insane lich that left that staff you were gawking at. They won't trust me in the least, so I'll do my best to follow them.....

Karn was, in part, venting his frustration on the power-hungry Breton. The ninja was an opportunist at heart, grew more frustrated by his increased immersion into this conflict. It made him feel more and more like a pawn.

That felt demeaning; he was determined to find a suitable way to disentangle himself from this mess.

The Sage

When she suddenly got a feeling of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the sage shed her invisibilty and motioned all the battlemages to follow. With them all following, if not relouctantly, she followed her hunch past a cluster of boulders.

Her instinct had proved correct as they spotted a group of adventurers fighting a horde of orcs and goblins. Grinning to herself, she turned to the battlemages. "Let's help these people, we need all the allies we can get in this place."

All of them nodded, and the mages leapt into the fray. Loosing a storm of spells upon the enemy's exposed flank, burning, freezing, and sapping the strength from the rear guard.

OCC: So will the group use the distraction to flee, or will they rally to the new support?

Flint Ironwood, we have lift-off!

Sodsa and Dalrus followed.
,,Alright, here we go." Flint was about to call out when suddenly spells began to whizz all around them. Looking up, the Breton saw a group of battlemages doing what they do best.

He jumped. For a moment, it seemed as if the extra weight would keep him firmly planted to the ground but an added feather spell was enough to get them up in the air.

Still, he could not jump as far as he would've liked. Seeing as how it was probably safest, he landed near the group of battlemages, feeling a sharp spear of pain stab up through his wounded arm.
,,Thanks, we owe you one." Flint gasped, before everything blackened and he passed out.

The Sage

When all the adventurers catapulted into the are, she couldn't help but be impressed by the jump they made with all their wieght.

Though inclined to revive the breton, the current battle was more pressing at the moment.

An orc leapt through the air toward the fallen breton. The sage froze it solid with a powerful frost spell.

As the beast shattered on impact with the ground, she moved closer to the adventurers as the other mages continued to combat the goblins.

Karn

The dunmer scowled at the sudden change in events. "Veric, a group battlemages intervened for me. It would seem our foes just found some allies this far from civilization."

Issac

The setting sun left the sky a briliant crimson hue. issac didn't want to keep going when it was completely dark.

"We should try and find some sort of shelter for tonight." He advised.

Sadril

Sadril obviously felt rejuvenated as he spun around full circle on one foot in the snow and practically sung, "Then let us morons take leave of this snowy path before the sun doth set."

He began taking large, comical steps in the direction they were heading. The cold was only getting worse, but Sadril, at least, seemed to be a little feeling better, if a bit insane.

Veric

This changes nothing. Simply be more careful not to be spotted. They will lead us to the others, accompanied with that large group of mages or not. It doesn't matter either way. Well... it will eventually, but in terms of finding them it won't.

Veric began to grow bored simply idling about. He looked to Voltar and said, "Let us follow at a distance. We are accomplishing nothing standing around here," and began walking in the direction that Karn had departed.

Flogir

Flogir felt somewhat nauseated by the imprompto flight, but landed gently enough by a group of battlemages. He then felt Flint go limp, so Flogir kept him upright before setting him carefully to the ground. He then turned around to face the enemy once more.

"All, with you're help, I think we can take em!" he shouted before throwing himself back into the fray.

Voltar

"Seems like an appropriate thing to do," Voltar said, not really caring about the unheard conversation between Veric and Karn. If Karn was having troubles doing his job, that was his problem. If he failed that proved his inadquacy, and Voltar knew that he or Veric did not like inadquacy.

The Sage

Smiling slightly as she cut into the enemy's line from the right, the sage dodged the orcs' blows and gave them all a sufficient shock to render them defenseless. In her wake she left seven orcs twitching helplessly against their now useless muscles.

Under the continued assualt, the goblins and orcs were bunching up at the end of a cliff. Taking the opportunity, she loosed a blast of telekentic energy that threw most of the remaining attackers to a lethal fall. At that point, she let the battloemages and adventurers mop up the rest, and let her magicka regenerate.

Brianna

She looked at the men with eyes flaming with anger....

"Thank you very much, both of you!" She spun around and started walking...she knew where they should go and if they were interested the only thing they had to do was to follow, she was tired and annoyed, but had no intentions to get into any kind of discussions with either of them. The main thing now was to reach the entrance to the passageway before anything more happened...

Don´t judge me Rahvin.....not you.....especially not you!

Serene

"Ooops...Rann! Take it easy!" She smiled, the reactions of this young man to her potion was rather....amusing.

"We´ll hopefully reach a cave or something, maybe Soldin knows?" She turned to the boy...

Satyana

"Rann?....please Rann come here!"
