Never had hot chocolate, tea makes me sick and I can't stand the smell of coffee. Yeah, I'm a heretic. *jumps through the window, escaping the many donuts being thrown.*

Ouch, I should've remembered that glass shards are well, sharp.

Yeah, it pays to wear shoes when you jumping out a glass window. I don't think many people are calling you a heretic because it seems not drinking coffee or hot chocolate is fairly common here. However I drink coffee, tea and hot chocolate so thats why I building a pyre below you.

(To ShogunSniper) Hammerfell's interior is mostly desert, as is the northern part of Elsweyr, I think.

Lots of posting since I've last checked in here... and zaniness.

I'm also a non coffee-drinker, if anyone's interested. And if anyone throws a donut at me I'll crush them, much like Numidium crushed the denizens of Summerset Isle back in the day.

Yeah, I've got giant god-robot skills like that.

To Shogun:
I've had a similar problem yesterday. After replying in the fanfiction section, it took ages to load the page. I thought I'd lost connection so I copied over the text and exited. Connection was still up, so I went back. My reply had been loaded without any problems.

I loaded up Arena and took a quick look. The map colours are wrong and Elsweyr isn't depicted right either. Dune, in the northern part of Elsweyr is located in a nice green forest. huh.gif

To Canis: Numidium is nice, big and stuff but aren't you forgetting anything? The damn thing has been destroyed so your mad giant god-robot skills won't help much. Which reminds me, I've got a project collecting dust on my harddrive.

*Jumps over a few trashcans to escape the police.*

Hey, I said I could crush things like Numidium used to crush things. The analogy stands. So don't make me crush you.

Ah, you got me. I surrender, I surrender!

Say, is there a place where I can learn some giant god-robot skills myself? wink.gif

Speaking about Numidium, I would love to see a picture of that thing. I have no idea what it actually looked like.

Numidium probably looked something like Akulakhan, since they're based off of the same design.

*deviates from the war scene briefly*

Well last night I just saw 300 and I have to say it was an excellent piece of eye candy, especially since we watched it on one of the digital projectors. I've never seen a picture that clear before! It was amazing.

If you really like Sin City, this a must see. If you don't mind some over-the-top violence and a few scenes of nudity, I suggest you check it out. The action scenes are definitely shot in a rather unique way. They make it look like it was all done in one shot, yet there are still camera distance changes. It's a really cool effect.

I had the public defense of my Ph.D. thesis yesterday, and it went much better than I expected. I need to make some significant revisions to the written thesis, but once those are done, they will give me my degree. It's been a long six-and-a-half years, and I couldn't have done it without the wonderful people here. Thanks to all of those who (knowingly or unwittingly) have encouraged me over the years.

Fists blazing? Anyway, you're welcome (although I'm absolutely sure I had nothing to do with incouraging you). Congrats on your new status in society.

No fighting in or near the coffee shop folks. you're gonna have to take it at least a kilometre down the road. Or you can stop the bloodshed, that'll work too
