Oh geez... Pigeon Forge. I've been through there a couple times, and Gatlinburg. Ugh. Next time I visit the Smokies I'm taking pains to avoid them. I love (really love) the Smokies but Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg just... ugh.

But I'm glad you had a nice trip! smile.gif

And I see that, as always, I am late to the party..... Anyways, mostly wanted to drop in to give my congrats to Planty on a successful defense. That is a huge hurdle.

Perhaps after sometime in May (when I finish teaching the class I took on), I will become more active and aware here. It isn't so much the class as the 160 mile round trip to and from the location.....

Ewww....I understand, that must be tiresome! We´ll be here anyway, I usually try to get in once a day except when I´m working too late, which unfortunately seems to be my habit nowadays!

i totally live like an hour from pigeon forge.

anyway i decided not to sleep yesterday because it would mess up my sleep schedule meaning i went 42 hours without sleeping. i payed for it last night by sleeping nearly 13 hours, and im still tired. blink.gif im trying not to kill myself when i wake up at 6 monday morning, cos i cant miss any more school for the rest of the year cos im joing the marching band next year...

and since the instructor has never let a non-band student into band, and because i've missed a crapload of school this year i have to more or less prove myself to him.

Wooo! My team won our hockey game today so now we're definitely in 2nd place going into the semi finals (which means we'll be playing the 3rd place team). To my surprise I actually had to play forward today. I normally play defence because I'm quite comfortable skating backwards, and I'm not a natural goal scorer, but whatever. I actually played my position well.

So, there's one more game left until the finals, hopefully we'll win that one decisively so that we feel good going into the semis. Wish us luck!

Hah, I don't eat a lot of fast food. (Like, once a month.) But I'm not into the low-fat, diet stuff. Nope, I eat as much as my parents yet they are more than double my weight. Unreal metabolisms rock! (As I can laugh at all the diet panic around me. laugh.gif )

Heck ya! Unreal metabolisms do kick butt! Sure, I might not have ripped muscles, but I certainly don't have any pudge to me whatsoever. I'm not sure how much effort it would take to carve a sweet bod for me, maybe I should try it sometime...

Oh yea, and Black Hand. It doesn't get horribly cold where I live, so it's definitely a plus. It's a nice part of living in southern Ontario. But the most ideal weather in Canada is likely southern BC, though it gets awfully rainy there.

YAY!! I just got my sisters old laptop! Now I can finally surf the web late at night again! Don't worry though, I just finished sending my documents (Fan Fictions) and loading them on here, so I will be writing a lot more from now on. In fact, I would be typing up some more stuff, but I am stuck doing a bunch of chores today. sad.gif

Oh yeah, I have the same metabolism as you Metal, I can eat whatever I want, and still stay thin as a twig. Isn't it great?

Oh yea, it's definitely great. But it's gonna suck once my metabolism drops, I'm probably just gonna explode if I ain't careful.

Other than that, I'm happy that you got a "new" laptop. I hope to get one of my own soon...
