Post count? I don't even think about it much- despite my ancientness upon the fora. (I am, after all, the "Official Forum Grand-dad"). If I really wanted to boost my count, I would spend more time reading and commenting in the Fan Fiction area, if I had more time to spend.

Been trying to find my way around Guild Wars- based on the (mostly spam) stuff in the Chat channel, I think I got there several days after the party was over.... And maybe I am more of a solo gamer (even though I have been doing roleplaying since before I even owned a computer).

My school just had yearbook signing...... I do not believe this: the book did not include my picture!! sad.gif

I didn't even hear when the tennis team had the team picture! dry.gif Well, the consolation to all that was the fact that we had signing out on the football field. So my friends and I were able to play team freeze tag (or something like that).

I am the self-proclaimed master of sneaking. happy.gif One of the other team's members walked right past me while following my friend (I was at arm's length staring at him as he walked past). When two of the came for opposing sides, I ran left and then slipped through the gap between them (while the nearest on skidded to change direction (one of them said he was in football)).

Anyway it was fun and very, very hot out there at the end of the day. smile.gif

A big nasty storm hit my town last night around seven pm and I guess some broken trees took out the powerlines to our little block and our power was out for a long time. I didn't notice it was on until around 4 in the morning. When I left school our cable was still down and the internet wasn't working (I'm currently at work) so it'll be interesting to see how things are when I get home.

I have to say it's sorta creepy driving around inside a city when there's no lights on, it's like everything's dead. Very eerie.

Lol I've never tried Guiness or Harp. Probably wouldn't like them though.... the only booze I've liked of all the different ones I've tried to date is Sake... and I probably spelled that wrong biggrin.gif

@Priest

I work for a company called Culligan Water. We have a drive thru window that sells the big 5 gallon jugs of water (18L) and salt for water softener systems. I run that drive thru on the closing shift and a full day on Saturdays. It doesn't get too busy and we're given computers with internet access so I surf the web to kill time. I actually do most of my writing (almost all of it) while I'm at work tongue.gif

@Wolfie

Congratulations man, I got my High School Diploma last year but I didn't know where I wanted to go for post-secondary education so I took an extra year. Well I figured out where I wanted to go so I'll be moving to our Captial (Toronto) to attend a private college in the fall.

@Shogun

European countries often have legal drinking ages a lot lower than the States and North America. They're also at lot less severe with checking ID and all that. When I was in France, the legal drinking age is 18 but I saw people as young as 14 drinking in the bars I went to.

Different laws here in Ireland. We get to drink legally at 18. Course I haven't actually drunk since I turned 18..... I tried and disliked a whole bunch of different tpyes of booze when I was 17 biggrin.gif

EDIT: Oh, and Sake is rice wine tongue.gif

My perference is actually with the mix drinks myself. I'm not a huge beer fan but I've built a better appreciation for it when I was in the Bahamas.

If you like Iced Tea, you'd like the Long Island Iced Tea because it's potent but you can't taste the alcohol. To some, drinks like that are called the "scary" drinks because after a few you suddenly realise you're drunk. tongue.gif

I do like long island iced tea. Good choice Metal.

Never knew why they called it ice tea though.. we just use cranberry juice or whatever. But I guess you could substitute it for real ice tea.. hunh..

I'm thinking about taking a few bar tending classes this summer actually.

All this talk of alcohol, yet no one has metioned Killigan's Irish Red, the besh amber beer there is!!!

And to go with your beer, Beer-basted Fish and Chips, straight from the oven! I grew up in Germany and my family moved around Europe, apparently trying to culture me, bleh.......

Also, I was watching Oprah, you guys overseas may have heard of her, but she had this guy on her show that had been an alcoholic for twenty years, they made him take this pill like three years ago and now he doesn't drink. In fact, he throws up if he consumes an alcoholic drink. Sounds like Clockworm Orange to me!!!

(Just a side note, Oprah Winefrey is the Antichrist, and I don't watch Oprah, my TiVo said to.)

I have a 360, but I didn't sign for the beta, leave that to the people who are probably drooling at the prospect. But I can't wait for the actual game to come out! biggrin.gif
