Yeah fair trade is incredibly important for governments to work together, and for a free market to be healthily sustained. As soon as a condition is broken, all companies in the market that want to stay a competitor must break the conition, and tons of money becomes spent on taking away people's rights(Which I think in cludes the lobbying of government representatives to start coups to get rid of democratically elected leaders(okay, not all are elected but most are fairly elected) because those leaders kick out these massive multinational companies that are there to pay next to nothing. Their tactic to be successful is not to make the best product, but to keep people hopeless. Fair trade is all about an enforcement of paying people what they can agree their product is worth, which is a staple of the free market.

Man, my boyfriend is going off to college in about two weeks. sad.gif

Aug 15 is also when my senior year starts. YAY! I hope it goes fast. I can't wait until college, when I'm out on my own and don't have to deal with pesky siblings or parents...

Friday I'm getting purple streaks in my hair. I'm having it done professionally so I don't look like a moron.

Not much has been going on for me, unfortunately. My life is incredibly boring in the summer. Just eating, sleeping, with DnD once a week.

Ohhh Zarr, I'm excited for you about senior year and especially about the purple streaks in your hair. Do post us a picture when you get a chance. I would love to see you that way ... purple is my favorite color.

I've often thought about just putting a rinse in my hair (dull dark-blonde/light brown) to make it maroon colored. Maybe you will give me the courage to do so if yours turnns out good.

Urgh, my internet problems persist long enough to last another day. I got a phonecall from my mother while I was at working telling me that the Bell technician showed up at our home but didn't even know what he was supposed to do there. Shortly after that I got a phonecall from Bell asking me what I wanted done and I told them my "Dry Loop" thing that I was told would solve my problem. I guess they thought that meant we wanted a whole new phone line which is what we didn't want. We just wanted out DSL modem to work.

Well I guess my mom tried to get things sorted out and like they did with me when I first tried to get this "dry loop" thing organized, they sent to like 9 different people before she got fed up and decided to cancel the service.

So tomorrow, a Rogers technician is coming over and installing Cable Internet. Hoo ray!

Speaking of traveling, I'm leaving for one last hitch of work in less than an hour, I think. I'll be in Idaho for a week or so, back in town for maybe a day or two, then in Idaho another week. Then I'll finally be back in Missoula on a full-time basis.
