I went to bed at approx. 5Am. Then got up at 8:30AM, so I could get my mom & dad's pensions [cash - don't ask, we don't use credit cards, barbariun country]. Promptly passed out when I got back from the cue at the postal office [where they have a savings account] and slept, with some weird dreams too, up to 12:00. I think I'll need more coffee. laugh.gif

Depression is so overrated, what you meant to say was that you will engage in Mortal Kombat with said girlfriend. That would be, simply amazing.

MMM... a real chocolate malt.

Working on a project for AP English Lit.... yeah, it's boring, but I haveta do it. sad.gif It's a personal brochure, and I just think it sucks.

The assignment, I mean. No one really cares who I am (well, around where I live at least), and I well, uhh, don't really care to do such a project.

Wow, Alatriste looks good, Milanius. I added it to my Save list with Netflix. Apparently it isn't available for rental yet. D2rnation .. I am still waiting for the third Pirates of Caribbean to come up at Netflix. If it isn't by Labor Day I'm gonna be seriously vexed, saavy?? blink.gif

Zarr, make up stuff for your personal brochure. Did they say you have to tell the truth. Just make the first clause about you that "I am a furious liar" .. should work from there.

Well I am a happy lad tonight. UFC 74 was on tonight and I was 7 out of 9 for my picks, 5 for 5 for the main card fights. I'm very happy Canadians Georges St.Pierre, Patrick Cote won their fights. Not to mention Randy Couture absolutely dominated a person 14 years younger than him; it was absolutely crazy to see that.

Now I can't wait until the free event showing in two weeks. "Rampage" Jackson versus Dan Henderson; should be pretty epic.

Wait.

You get to do a "HOW AWESOME I AM" project on 50 pages and you hate it? blink.gif
If you don't want to, I can do the assignment for you...

Ibis, that movie was a bit pompous at times [like anything spanish, really], but it was awesome, if not a bit too bloody at times. And, it has Vigo.

...
I wish I could skip tomorrow and just go to the day after it. Luckily, it's only 24 hours.

You're right. I should pull a Maddox, make it about how awesome I am and if you disagree, you are wrong!

It will be chock full of pure, concentrated awesomeness. Yay me!

Didn't do much today. Besides Calc homework (mondo easy) and Guitar Hero.

I had a good day. I handed out sticky notes during lunch to the people I sit with and chaos ensued. The reason I gave 'em sticky notes? So we could tag the emo kids during lunch.

Don't want to go to Spanish II tomorrow. <_<

Well, I brought up Mass Effect and Halo 3 in an earlier coffee shop, but got favorable responses for neither. Well, now that their almost complete in terms of development and their shipping soon, I'll bring them up again.

Bungie has confirmed these features for Halo 3-

-playbacks of multiplayer battles and campiegn missions (from all player's prospectives, and any angle).
-the return of the assualt rifle and the flamethrower.
-the existance of two new grenades (you can hold all four kinds, but only two each).
- four player co-op mode for campiegn
-unprecedented AI sophistication (i.e: "Brute Pack behavior" and Scarab battle)
-new UNSC ATV, "troop carrier" version of the Warthog, and Brute ghost
-wieldable turrets (rip them off of their emplacements and rampage with them
-different armor designs for use in multiplayer

[I'm probably missing two or three]
But I'll post a link to Mass Effect.com.

Btw, The Last Legion and Bourne Ultimatum were great movies! biggrin.gif

Troubling, a new problem has arose in the Priest's world;

MOTHER'S BIRTHDAY!

The tension is killing me! If i get her something cheap, she'll think she's cheap and hell will ensue. It I go lavish, she'll get mad at me for wasting my money!

Help....

BTW....She's 49

I usually give my mother something craft related. Like a big, scented candle or one of those little statues with animals trying to act like people or something.

My parents are awesome. They tell me straight away "please, DON'T buy me anything for birthday!", so I get them new underwear or deodorants/aftershave and they're fine.

I paint a homemade card with watercolors for my Dad, and he loves it; no matter how good or bad it actually looks. lol

This year I was way out of practice due to the fact that there's been an incessant drip from the air conditioner duct which is directly over my art area (the landlord fixed it now.) But I painted a rendition of our pool by the lake with me swimming in it and Cain as lifeguard under an umbrella chair .. and he loved it.

It was quite babyish but he termed it ultra-modern style. tahaha! (parents = we've really got them wrapped around our little fingers, don't we?)

Rest o' the day was a slightly moderate disaster. I'll just say we have to call our plumber again tomorrow, since he screwed up today.

In other news, my hands now smell of pig blood and no amount of rinsing with soap can help. Me, paps and my uncle chopped up 3 little piggies he [uncle] slaughtered earlier today into quarters. One pig is for us, 2 are for someone else. Not particularly pleasant job, but someone has to do it.

Why is it that the people who would make the worst parents always are parents?
