@Milanius: Yep! I'll certainly keep that in mind. Fortunately for me, most of the bands I like are relatively small or unknown so they play at the small venues around here; hopefully that means it's easier to get tickets to their concerts. I all ready got tickets for a concert next week (4 bands for $30 is a GREAT deal; especially for these quality bands). I'll make sure to keep my eyes open for ticket sales as soon as they open.

@blockhead: I asked the salesman whether it was possible to Myswitch Vista with XP but he said with laptops it ends up ruining the drivers. He said that people have tried to switch but after a month everything starts crashing. I don't know whether I should believe him or not though...

@Revan: Yea, yea.... I've been having problems with working on that Clash I must admit. I thought I would have time my last week but it turned out that people wanted to have going away parties that I wanted to attend so that took away from working on it at night. Then all the worrying and setting up for the move took time away during the day. The lesson I have learned: I'm not going to give you anymore guesses on when I'll have the first part of the Clash done. I'll just say soon now tongue.gif

,,What is this?"
,,This is now. We are in the now, seeing the now."
,,But when will we see them?"
,,Soon."
,,But when will soon be now?"
,,Soon."

Sorry, I had to do that one. It's not the literal version, but it was a funny scene there in Spaceballs. (Star Wars parody) And well, I'll wait patiently.

And yes, the ancient question of 'how old are you?'

Well in three months or so, I'll pass the magical limit of 18! Whoopee, finally the chance has come to learn how to drive a car. Ok, I'm not that enthusiastic. Cars fricking scare me.

Well, I can get a permit pretty soon, but I'm pretty indifferent when it comes to cars.

As long as it looks decent, and is in reasonable condition I'll be content.

I was a little paranoid at driving when I first started. But once you get used to steering and accelerating, it doesn't appear to be that frightening anymore. Though, I probably need to drive on the highway at bit more to get used to not being a bit paranoid doing that. That won't happen anytime soon though. I don't have a car of my own so I'm limited to my own two feet and transit while I'm in Toronto. I'm gonna miss blaring my tunes in the sweet sound system we had installed into a crappy car....

Man, today was boring. Tomorrow will be even more boring! Stupid labor day...

I didn't do much, other than sleep, eat, drink, play Morrowind, play Guitar Hero II, and watched Godzilla on TV.

While playing Guitar Hero II, my brother gave me the "brilliant" idea of trying to play "Jordan" on Hard and Expert. Yeeeaah, if I had played it in Quickplay or Career Mode I would have cried.

My parents are *supposed* to take me to learn how to drive... thus far they haven't.

I already want to go back to bed. That's what boredom does to you.

I forgot to do the remnants of my homework. Oops. I still have tomorrow though.

I've been eligible to learn how to drive for a long while now. One day I might even get around to it. I'm not really that arsed though, to date my bike or my own two feet have sufficed in almost every situation, and where they haven't public transport has stepped up to the plate.

We don't have public transport here.

Because it's Oklahoma, and we are backerds.

Well, the major cities in OK do. We don't. Because we suck!

Do all license pictures look bad?

Do they have a special camera that captures the worst face you could ever make? Mine is turrible...

Probably.

Since I know we have geetar players here, what do you suggest I do to practice until I'm fast enough to play songs?

And Mallet, according to MaximumPC switching from Vista to XP simply isn't a good idea on a built for Vista machine. It won't void your warranty (despite what some sales arms of companies might say) but you'll find some devices will cease to work (not completely unable to work, mind you, but they will through a [censored] fit), and various other problems might occur. I really doubt it will harm any drivers.

I have had my license for years (around 4 I think), the freedom...to go down to the cookie factory and buy broken cookies by the kg. And also to go snowboarding whenever I want. Aside from snowboarding I don't really drive, I use public transport for day to day use and I walk often enough. I think my license photo is fine, despite having short hair (which I don't anymore), but passport photo is the one I hate, I usually have my hair resting over my eyes, but for passports you can't have any hair touching your eyebrows so I had to fold it back behind my ears. I look like a rapist. Whenever I need my Dutch passport (the other one is my NZ one) then I think I will get a new photo taken rather than use the same photo despite having spares made for that exact purpose.

I was going to hitch a ride with my cousin and go snowboarding today, but it is too windy, a shame, aside from the fun of snowboarding, I always love looking across the sea from the top of the mountain. Instead I might bake some more cookies, I have 2 variations of the recipe to try to make it orgasmic, perhaps I should just have sex with the girl whilst she is eating the cookies but I like this way better.

That is so true.

I'm eating spicy rice with white chicken meat, 3 days old, and it is unbelievably good. My mom has, after all these years, learned the right measure of spices and home made tomato sauce. Hey, it's nowhere near golden, crispy baked potatoes with prsuta, but it is still good.

p.s.: Zarre dear, I don't know if this is too tough for you right now, but the song is great: http://www.911tabs.com/link/?266408

Ragh! So tired!

My roommate and I decided to see how the Toronto nightlife was Sunday night and I must say it was lively. Unfortunately, we couldn't get into a certain club because I was wearing shorts (it's summer, why can't I wear shorts!) so we ended up just drinking at a bar. It turned out all right though; most of the time at this bar was spent talking to a pair of ladies. Thing is, I've probably only had 2 hours of sleep, blargh!

I need a nap...

I don't have a working printer and there is no effing way I'm going to sit at the computer where everyone can hear me play my very out of tune guitar badly.

I threw away all my guitar magazines (why, I have no idea), so I'll just have to buy more, or print out some tabs Wednesday while I'm in the library. I think I'll start with something simple, like Nirvana.

Also, I prefer to play tabs to a song I know.

I remember getting so mad that Cain wouldn't take me to the last Van Halen concert when they came to Orlando (was Van Hagar actually) that I loaded all my huge piles of music magazines into our zebra striped station wagon, pulled up to a dumpster and chucked them all in. I was furious. Didn't hurt anyone but myself though and it did make a lot of available space on the floor of the closet. mad.gif

Now they are doing a new tour as the old Van Halen, sort of ... David Lee Roth and Eddie, Alex and Wolfgang Van Halen (on bass in place of Michael Anthony.) Luckily for me, they are not coming anywhere near Orlando on their 50 venue tour ... so I don't have to get mad all over again. Should make for a lot more radio play. Think I'll go check out their official website and see if they've started the tour yet.

Those damn daywalkers... they eluded me today!

Oooh, I will talk to them. The really attractive one. I wonder if he has a nice a... err, butt.

Today was pretty good. We did a lab in AP Chem/Chem II. We dissolved some sodium chloride and benzoic acid in boiling water. Then, we let it cool. The benzoic acid crystalized out. It was sooo cool! I wish I could have keep the crystals we filtered out twice. They were so cool. But then we used the big lump of leftover crystals and put them into water, and heated it up. Cant wait to see what it did Thursday!

I shall be looking out for the daywalkers tomorrow. If they elude me again, next time I see one of them I'm tackling them.

My experimenting is going well. I need to buy some more vegan chocolate though.
Recipe:
1/5 cup sugar (Fair Trade)
1.5 cup white flour (perhap put some mix grain in too, but not too much)
1 heaping teaspoon baking powder
1-2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Dash of soy oil (perhaps, it makes the cookies more cookish but not tastier)
x=secret ingredient which I am still discovering, without it the cookies taste a bit doughy, some sort of spice, flavouring or herb, perhaps hash tongue.gif .
Then add soy milk until it sticks together in one big ball but its not liquidy
100g vegan Fair Trade dark chocolate chips.
Bake for 15 minutes at 180c (on baking paper or greased tray).

I half this recipe for experimenting. You can convert into crazy imperial yourself, I don't know why anyone would use a measurement system based on the aspects of the king's size, especially when they don't have a king.

Where the hell is... oh, wait, you have baking powder in there.

I still think peanut butter cookies top chocolate chip, but that's just me and my heathen ways. But that could turn out awesome.

Well my first time washing dishes is over. Went decently and I was happy that it wasn't terribly busy so I wasn't absolutely bogged down in dishes. Still, it's not the most flattering job, you basically get wet and you often have uneaten food stuck on the back of your hands. Ohwell, you don't really notice since you lose feeling in your hands via dealing with hot water.

Can't wait to start is all over again tomorrow... rolleyes.gif

Yeah, I don't like washing dishes, but I do them when they aren't too gross. I'll also do the laundry. I simply don't like my mom to have to do those things when she's off.
