I'm curious to know what resoltion you people use. We're currently working on the new website for after Oblivion's release, and we do wonder what resolution we should optimize for. Currently, everything we design is fit to be displayed on a 800x600 resolution, but this is extremely limiting. So we'd like to know how many of the people coming here are actually still using it smile.gif

1400x1050

But I'd like it better if you keep thing as they are because I don't use the full screen for my browser as you can see here.

Picked 1600x1200, but I'm running at 1792x1344 right now. Might as well be more, due to my, er... Spartan window manager and browser.

I'd attach a screenshot, but this site seems to have that disabled, doesn't it?

Maybe you have it on the wrong side tongue.gif

1024x768, it is annoying when a website uses a larger resolution but I don't mind a smaller one.

On my desktop, 1280x1024 (or higher), and on the laptop, 1400x1050. Ve-ery comfortable!

I use the lappy quite a bit, but I still do most of the web-browsing on the desktop.
So 1280x1024 for the sake of the poll. *click*

*reads thread subtitle, then scratches his head* Market research, eh ? Oh, OK... I use 1024 x 768 - the perfect balance between performance & quality (at least for my sorry bucket of chips biggrin.gif)

Use 1024x768. If someone uses too small of a resolution then they either need to upgrade monitor/computer so it is possible, or just set their resolution up.

Or maybe create two versions of the site?..Probably not a good idea, Maybe is there a way that you can get it to auto stretch to the size of the monitor?

I used to 800x600, because on my moniter, anything else is too small to read. I switched to 1024x768 when I switched to Firefox, because it's easy to adjust the text size with Firefox.

Graphics card can handle more, the monitor (affectionately known as big steaming pile of useless plastic) can't.
