Is the art of disguise possible? Options

First off let me say that I am not a modder, and have abosolutly no idea if this is even possible. However, I thought it was an intresting idea so I'd ask.

Would it be possible to create a disguise discipline, so that your character could be a master (or mistress if you perfer) of disguise? Yes, I realise that I've been watching a little too many caper movies, but the idea of being able to disguise yourself I thought was an intresting one. In other games I know it's easy enough to change the player skin, but I was thinking more in terms of a temporary change, which removes some of the penalties you get - you know, minor things like hair style or model head - by normal means or magic; you could even have some kind of mission impossible style mask available to purchase or something.

What use would it be in the game? Well, other than being cool, I was thinking something like removing (whilst in disguise) the bounty on a players head, or at least lowering it whilst in diguise. Once they're back to normal, then the bounty returns to normal. Could be useful for Theves guild/Dark Brotherhood characters, and the idea isn't totally out of left field - Jagar Tharn did it in Arena.

I'm just thinking of ways to try and get past every guard ever knowing all my crimes. So, opinions?

naw i guess you just want the ordinary disguise type deal.

to actualy have your guy wearing a mask, you would need to make a mesh and thats not my field, but i could make it so that if your wearing a cloak or something people wont notice who you are ( no bounty, ect )

I should say ive only played it for xbox, but i took it back cause its a piece of compassion and i now have it for pc and now i just gota replace my broken dvd drive which i will probably do tomorow. I have lots of expiriance with the morro CS and from my point of view this sounds not only doable, but fairly easy to acomplish

Oh no, illusion spell, or a cloak where people won't notice who you are...pretty much anything. I just thought it was a good way to get the bounty down, at least so you don't have guards running after you the second you've picked a lock or something.
