Original post by minque, founder of the coffee-shop:
This is meant to be a place where you can talk about anything without having to stay on topic. Feel free to ask questions, to talk about the things in your life you like to share with your fellow-members. Or just step inside for a while, have a coffe and a good chat!

You may feel free to post whatever you like as long as it is within the rules of the forum.

But if the conversation degrades to spam, you will be treated as though you are spamming anywhere else on the forum. This is a thread where you can relax and talk about personal things, but it is not to be used as an excuse to make pointless posts.

Please help to keep this alive and well and a place where we can meet and share.

Enjoy your stay here!!! biggrin.gif

I'm guessin that OB will come sometime in November.. so you might have to get more than just M&B to hold over...

Well its a MMO but its like a space sim

www.eve-online.com

It takes a lot of dedication to play, and newbies get scared off easily. Everything is PvP, the market, combat, etc.

They're beginning to get better, though eve is still only for the really dedicated people with a lot of time. WoW is the best mmo so far, guild wars was a swing at it but a miss, and unfortunately until they find a real solution to ending the monthly fee I simply can't afford them.

Well you start out in a Frigate reguardless, but there are more ships you can move in to..... If you download it and play I'll hook you up with some ISK (money) and if you decide you like it maybe even a corporation. I found a good corp with alot of nice members (PlanetSide Defense Union) and they were really helpful.. problem is was that we attacked by a corp. that was richer and had tons of more exp than us. So we disabanded and fought a gurilla (SP?) war and we won.. So were thinking about starting up the corp again!

Heres the trial thing http://hosted.warcry.com/eve_trial_pass/ and if you decide to play, send /tell Channler.. you will need alot of help in the beginning

Any chance that you're a Planescape fan as well?
I'm more of a Dungeons & Dragons insane-fan smile.gif Me and Baby Nord and three other friends play D&D in Forgotten Realms every friday, where I run the campaign "City of the Spider Queen" and I'm just a huge fan of R.A. Salvatore's books biggrin.gif
Planescape is a Dungeons & Dragons campaign setting.
Hmm, never heard of that. Been making my campaings myself. And currently starting, or we are starting on City of the Spider Queen on the comming friday smile.gif is Planescape a good campaign, is it for Greyhawk, Dragonlance, FR or Eberron?
Planescape is the best, in my humble opinion. smile.gif

Greyhawk, Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms and Eberron are other campaign settings. Planescape is different.
Is it a Setting or a campaign to a setting...?
A campaign setting.

Not a campaign.

Nice.

Look here for a list of all the Planescape products that have been made, with the exception of the Planescape Official Fiction books and the Planescape: Torment computer game.
