I have a weird glitch. I was using my deadric claymore to sneak attack. Instead of a multiplier, it said x1 attack. It also killed everything in one hit. What is this?

(edit: i'm not sure on the multipliers for the bow, it's been a while since i shot it, been concentrating on blade last few levels)

well, sneak attacks with two handed weapons don't do extra damage. only bows(x2 or x4, depending on level of sneak), fists (x4 or x6), and one handed weapons (x4 or x6) do extra damage.

killing things in one hit is most likely the result of high blade/strength scores, and the variety of enemies you're fighting. if you have a deadric claymore, you're probably at a bit of an advantage against most things you're running into anyway, especially if it's enchanted and/or poisoned.

Then that means my enchanted deadra longsword can kill everything in one hit also? I already have the x6 multiplier.

Heh, softwhisper didn't get it across....
fish, you don't get a sneak attack multiplier when you use a two-handed weapon. Period. That's why it says X1 sneak attack - you'd be eligible for a multiplier if you used a one-handed weapon.
At expert in sneak, the mulitplier is X6.

no, you get the multiplier when your an apprentice. At expert you can run while sneaking and it won't affect you chances of being detected by NPC's or creatures.

In any case, if you're taking down baddies with your claymore and one hit, it either means your difficulty slider is low, or it could be a glitch. When I hit a Daedra at average difficulty and level 29, even if I use a claymore and am VERY strong (~190), it takes a number of hits to take them down. Even if I use an enchanted longsword in sneak with the multiplier, it takes several hits.

I also cant kill a deadra in one hit. I just had a large amount of blade enchantments on my items and attacked humans like that.
