Leyawin glitch, Dagail won't acknowledge seer's stone Options

I've just returned with the seer's stone and spoke with Agata at the Leyawin Guild, who then directed me to give it to Dagail. The trouble is that Dagail won't acknowledge it, even when I'm wearing it on my neck! She keeps lamenting that about her voices. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do? Is there another way to get my recommendation? If I use a healer spell on the silly cow will she come to her senses?

I dunno. Should be pretty straightforward. Do you have a previous save before starting the quest?

This is a glitch in the game that the current patch does not fix. We've got about 4 different games going in both partitions of our computer, and Dagail never acknoledged any of the characters having the seer's stone. We finally ended up cheat-coding the end. Was a shame to have to do so, vut at least Dagail taking the amulet is the very last thing you have to do in this quest.

Crossing my toes they come out with another patch to fix the ramainder of the dozens of glitches sonn.

I finally did get the proper response from Dagail. I'm noticing that if I expire a character (~nice euphemism) before a certain dialogue takes place, then the game won't progress as it should.
