I am glad to see the Breton magic resistance has evaporated. That trait was horribly unbalanced in both Morrowind and Oblivion. Replaced with a less potent magic absorption trait as a Greater Power, it would seem.
Insert obligatory disagreement from a High Rock Loyalist.
But what I want to know is the mechanics of powers this time around, and which specific racial benefits are abilities and which are powers. I'd be much less upset if the Bretons got the spell absorption from the lost Atronach Birthsign, without that pesky Stunted Magicka to accompany it. Also, I need the High Elves to retain some form of magical weakness to justify my bone-deep resentment of them and their pronounced hubristic nature.
I wonder if they get to keep their basic 'not-quite-the-best-of' guys status? After all, they do worship Auri-El, who is Akatosh, who happens to be Alduin, who is about to eat the world.
