Change Personal Photo, In my controls under change avatar Options

Ok I have to ask about this because I noticed and and when click on it says you don't have access to this. By the name of it I figured it out what it might be but was wondering what it is used for. If we don't have access to it, is there a reason why it is in are controls.

I am just asking a question, I am curious because I never seen it before. Thank You for the help.

on some forums, you can use this option, and when people look at your profile, they see whatever picture you posted.

I'm guessing this feature is disabled on these forums. The reason it is in the controls is because it is a feature that invision put on their forums.

to be honest, I don't recall even thinking about it. we just never enabled it I think.

however reasons,
- if you wish to post a personal photo of yourself you're welcome to start a (non spammy) picture thread where all of them can be posted.
- if you wish to use that space for something other then a personal picture then why not put it as avatar instead?
- with members being able to have both a personal picture and avatar, it would be double the work for our moderators, and ourselves of course, to make sure that nothing inappropriate is posted there. that isn't an accusation towards anyone, rather a prediction. right now it's still fairly quiet here, after Oblivion comes out however, and judging by our own ideas for the forums and the site we expect there to be a large increase in members signing up.
more members = more work.

so I hope no one is too distraught by this, but I do think it's for the best .
