to do metal-reflections is quite fun to do but I usually find it a bit complicated to give it a realistic look |

maybe try a reflection glinting off the right hand side in the darker zone? Possibly apply a chrome-esque textural layer with a 50% alpha on multiply and then soft erase the bits you dont want? |

In photoshop you can add layers, adjust their transparency (aka Alpha) and alter how they appear on the layer below (many options, one of which is mulitply)
Then on this layer you concoct a chrom/metallic-esque tecture/image. Then once you have the parameters right, you can just soft-erase the layer as you see fit until the image looks how you want it to. |
