Dante's inferno test.

I would go to the first level of he--hope-you-moderators-don't-mind-using-in-these-circumstances-ll, Limbo.

Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.

Don't take this too seriously.

Purgatory

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.
---

As expected.

Level 6 - DIS devilsmile.gif

Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis

You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell.

Cool...I could have beer with Satan!

Edit(again): found it...

Level 4

Just before the river Styx is the Fourth Level of Hell. Here, the prodigal and the avaricious suffer their punishment, as they roll weights back and forth against one another. You will share eternal damnation with others who either wasted and lived greedily and insatiably, or who stockpiled their fortunes, hoarding everything and sharing nothing. Plutus, the wolf-like demon of wealth, dwells here.

thats what got me (i think)

edit:for the last time. okay i read it all wrong. im higher then Stargle, that doens't supprise me...

Huzzah for me! Although, if I DID go to Hell, I would probably end up in Limbo. Then I could hang out with Aristotle and them all day. It's not such a bad place, its just kinda boring.

I really liked The Inferno. I hope to finish the Divine Comedy soon.

It seems I'll end up in the city of Dis myself together with other staff members, maybe the people in there are interested in seeing an Oblivion fan site ohmy.gif

I guess it's the difference between being agnostic or atheistic, really.

Agnostics consider it at least possible that god exists, they just "reserve judgement" on the issue until they have better grounds to decide. An Atheist on the other hand expressly denies the possibility that god exists. God - if existing - could reveal him/herself right in front of them, and they'd say it was an illusion.

I guess it also had to do with considering science and technology to be the ultimate source of knowledge and wisdom, as opposed to the divine.

Well, now. That kind of disappoints me, really. For one thing, I'm the outcast of the team devilsad.gif
I'd grab some climbing gear and head off for the mountain, cursing Caesar on my way out for blocking the sun.
Next to pure torment, this would be my hell indeed.
