Oh. My. Gawd.

I am going to have Creative Assembly's babies. They rock, and they should be given an award.

EDIT: Holy crap! Their actually bloody in those pictures!!

I always thought if you hack up 400 people, that eventually you'd get a little dirty... I mean, I know everyone wants a clean war but...

Looks great, but it seems like an RTS. Not my favorite type of game. kvright.gif

Awesome! I always loved Rome:total war, it had a few problems (too easy being one) and I really wanted a medieval sequal, unfortunately there was only a medieval prequal which wasn't very good. I wasn't expecting my wish to be forfilled, but it has biggrin.gif

Hmm, I don't know about that. Sure RTW looked better then MTW but MTW had much more depth. RTW up'd everyones expectations and everyone then looked at STW and MTW as the ugly step-children.

Wow, that looks amazing. I pity those animators though, I doubt that they had a very easy job, for they had to improve on Rome TW and tackle (or is it re-tackle?) the bloody middle ages. Bet they'll get their money's worth though.

Don't get me wrong MTW was a great game and the campaign was better than RTW, but some things were soo bloody painful, specifically combat mode, combat mode wasn't anywhere near as fun to play (espeically with all illogical things which happen) which in my opinion ruined the rest of the game because it made it kind of boring. I have heard some complaints about MTW, the enemies getting lots of money even if they didn't have any source of income but they were just complaining. MTW=Great but flawed. RTW=as unflawed as games get, but not as good, so I am hoping MTW2 will have the good campaign of MTW and the great real time combat of RTW but even better with a few things of its own.

Btw, I haven't played RTW: barbarian invasion, any good?

BI is loads of fun... They brought back religion and a few other things, new factions and what not.. The horde idea is cool, but it get really annoying when you kill of the last of a barbarian factions settlement and next thing you know from their ashes rise 7-8 full armys...

I like the board type movement in MTW and I liked just about everything else. but I see your point. Theres no reason my 3 gold chevron cataphracts should be brought down after they charge into a group of peasents.

That was ridiculous and pissed me off... sad.gif The mighty Grecian Horsemen, who conquered everything from Egypt to Novogrod were slay'n by british peasents...

I think I'll go play RTW now smile.gif

PS: Please excuse my spelling.. I cant spell anymore for some reason..
