Mkay, so, I'm currently (and forever will be) on the Teaching Burd The Ropes quest. So, I'm killing along to the segil stone prancing like a little fairy not worriying about burd cuz he always goes unconcius (spelling?) Anyway...So, I get to the segil stone, and it says to show burd how to do it, so I'm like, fine, take it and I'm expecting to tele back out of oblivion and Burd to say, "Oh, that seems simple enough."

But no, God has other plans for burd and me. I grab the stone, and the room turns white (I should port now...) and then it goes back and I'm like, wtf. So, I figured I have to walk back le old fashion way....and when I get down the ramp far enough, the white light comes back and I''m all like, "Holy $h!7 I can't see!" And on my sexy compass I notice the two damned green arrows chilling there telling me I really need to do the quest.

Suggestions are welcomed...

It appears as if you're trapped in Oblivion. If you're trapped, you can reload an old save. Sure, you may lose some game time, but at least you get to have game time.

EDIT: If you have the PC version, you can just warp using the console.

movetoqt.

That console command saved me when i got trapped in oblivion.
I'm not sure it will liberate burd though.....

Mkay, the earliest save is the autosave RIGHT before after we get into the segil room, so, I tried it anyway, and same thing happens.

yeah, movetoqt works, but it just moves me to the stone or burd.
