Mages Guild Quest Bruma?, need help Options

I have talked to all the mages. I can even find J'skar in the stone wall from time to time but I can't for the life of me figure out what to do. Someone posted that you speak to a mage there and they tell you to come back at 10 but Ihave not had that conversation.

There is a mage name Vol-something. He'll tell you to steal the leader of the Bruma Mage's Guild manual of spellcraft. He'll help you find J'Skar after you get it for him.

I have talked to all the mages in the guild including one called vol-something he says oh jeahane has you looking for J'skar too bad its going to be hard to find him.

Try raising his disposition and talk with him again.

I had this problem where he wouldnt talk to me about J'skar,the missing guy, after I did everything he wanted me to do, the green arrow was on him but the topic as not in his conversation, so i slept in his bed for an hour and then he talked to me about him, guess it was a glitch
