Broken Thieves Guild Quest :/ Options

Hi,

My character is a hybrid thief, so naturally, the Thieve's Guild quest is the one most suitable for my character. The trouble is, it's broken

Anyway, right after I turned in the tax records to Armand, I clicked on him to see if he had anymore special jobs. The "special jobs" choice was missing and hasn't returned since! I had already fenced over 100g worth of stuff, and my journal reflected that. It said that I should go talk to Armand for more special jobs. Since then I've fenced over 600g worth of items, and the special jobs tab is still not in his options. Has anyone else had this problem? I did a small search of the forums before I posted, but didn't see anything. It is pretty discouraging. If anyone has any suggestions or knows how to fix this, please let me know.

You might have missed his invititation to go to Skrivva for more jobs. After the tax one, I think you're all done with him. Try finding Skrivva in Bravil - she's either at her house when you first enter, or at the inn (can't remember name) across the bridge right before the castle.

I tried talking to her, and she is missing the same "special jobs" prompt Armand is. Thanks though, for the suggestion!!!

You do realise you MUST talk to him at Darloth's Garden at midnight right?
During the day he won't give you special jobs.

make sure you haven't been cast out of the guild. you may have to make ammends if you accidently stole from or harmed another guild member. same thing happened to me, then i payed my bloodprice off and it was all gravy from then on, as long as i was careful, anyway.
