Everytime I seal a Oblivion gate, when it desroys and loads up to take you back, it crashes to desktop and I have to reload the game and try again why?

Aye, mine does this a lot of the time - with 1.5 GB ram. Just put your settings down to minimum possible then hope for the best.

I've only sealed 2 gates so far, but the last time I noticed things went very slow and laggy when I closed it. No crash to desktop though. And my graphics card is having a very hard time with that fog/haze that occurs where the gate was upon returning. Have to get out of it and look in another direction to avoid a slideshow.

The card is a X1900XTX, and I have 2 GB RAM. That card is one of the best out there now, so it may sound like something is bugged with the closing gates. I'm playing with all settings at max (and AA and HDR), so that may contribute to the lag in that fog as well. No problems anywhere else in the game though.
