I was very dissapointed to find that axes and daggers didnt have their own skill. And does it make any sense that axe is considered blunt? Would it be possible for a modder that is looking for a project make Axe and dagger their own skills? The effects could be the same as all the other weaps but this just seems more practical.

Well, Axes are okay as blunt weapons, as they both rely on their weight to damage a foe.

But Rainer thinks a shortblade skill would be helpful, but not required.

Todd said this can't be done in the CS.
It may be done through other means but......
I dunno.I would also like to see seperate Blade skills,Axe,Medium Armor,Enchantment, and all the other skills from Morrowind.I personaly don't know why did they dumb down the skill system like this.Sure, perks are nice, but that doesn't have to do anything with the number of skills.

Things such as clubs bulgeon (bulgeon?) people wile an axe is a cross between a blunt and a blade.

Let me ask, if an axe worked the same way as a mace, then why dont people go mace some fire wood?

plus axes have a particular way you have to swing them in order to his wwith the sharp end wile a blunt weapon you would swing wildly to knock someone out.

The only way i can think to do this is to look through the Game files to find what makes a sword a sword, and try to add a new type "Axe" and "Dagger" then try to find where in the settings they've added the weapon types (blunt 1, 2h blade 1, 2h, bow) and add a new one. Then you have to find where skills are declared, dind blade ect, and make it axe/dagger.

im gona check this out see if i can work some magic
